Ok who is going to watch Survivor with me?

No, I didn't see whose idea it was to stack wooden chests around the fire to protect it from the rain - who was it? And yes, I started laughing when they did it - what a bunch of maroons! I was surprised they actually got rid of Brenda, but was glad they did when she told Jeff it was beneath her to scramble to stay in the game! Unreal how full of herself she was, so was glad to see it bite her in the butt immediately. Shoulda scrambled!
-
Bye, bye, Brenda -- she was WAY too cocky! Hope Jane can stay in the game -- she is awesome.
-
I'm loving Jane, too! She was the one who started fire without flint at the beginning, and she's tough as nails. Would love to see her win it all!
-
I found it fascinating that Brenda blamed Na for starting the campaign to vote Brenda off when it was really Holly who started it. Holly is really flying under the radar. Now that she has a taste of power, I wonder what her next step will be?
-
Holly should get rid of Sash, since he not only didn't save his ally, Brenda, with the idol he scammed from Marty (who got it from Jill), but Sash actually voted for Brenda. And didn't Holly end up voting for Benry?
-
LOL-this is getting FUN!!! All I can think of about Holly is that on one of the 1st shows she stole someones expensive shoes, filled with them sand and sunk them in the ocean because she thought "they" were talking about her. I thought, then, that she was one whacked out job.....now, not sure what to think--since then, she hasn't shown any signs of "insanity"!!! Maybe someone to watch is Purple Kelly--it was just this week that I even realized she was on the show......
Think I am entrenched in Jane's camp! She is definitely awesome!!!!
-
There are a lot of people left who are dead weight - Dan, Purple Kelly, Benry, and until recently, Holly.
-
Hey, been too busy and away to come and play, plus I just watched the last 3 shows this week! Junie, I felt that way about Benry. Like....who the heck is Benry? Holly, I thought was rather strange in the beginning. Playing under the radar-Holly, Dan, Purple Kelly. Fabio, not much to say about him. He is not really disliked by anyone and plays the game. Dislike-Sash, Na. Chase is just a baby. Jane ROCKS! Glad to see Brenda voted off, spoiled little snot. But she sure is gorgeous! I bet she will be doing the preview show for next season. My vote is for Jane, but she really has to watch her back now. Hoping it's Sash or NA to go next week.
Speaking of next season. My husband has a cousin in VA, and his neighbor is in the next show. I do not know this person at all. But just kind of neat to know someone who does. I don't even know his name. But he has been home for quite some time already. We were out there the first week of Oct. and he was back. So he either go voted out early or the show has been done for quite some time. He had lost 40 lbs, so he had to have been there for a bit?
-
Wow, that was surprising. Or it would have been if the promos hadn't totally given it away. Again. But still... how dumb was it to quit that late in the game? They should have been kicked off the jury, too. Probst should have stuck their torches out in the rain instead giving them the courtesy of snuffing their flames. And then he should have snapped the torches over his knee.
Na Onka did a good thing by passing her hidden idol away before she quit - why couldn't she have also offered to give up her part in the reward so the others could have a tarp and rice? She was hours away from going to Loser Lodge, where she could have stuffed her face to her heart's content, but it didn't even occur to her to do something nice for the allies she was leaving in the lurch by quitting. I am glad Probst jeered at her for saying she had a shot of winning if she'd made it to the finals. She was being dragged along as the goat no one else would vote for in the finals, to improve the chances of whomever was sitting there with her.
-
Probst said in his blog that he thinks Na has the emotional maturity of about 7 years of age. That certainly makes sense to me. She probably does very well in a structured, predictable environment, but this game certainly is not for her. It will be interesting to see her in the after-show.
-
Tonight's show was too beyond reality!!! The previews did hint at what would happen but I really thought Na and Purple Kelly would decide to stay and play at the last minute! Now, who am I going to sit and fuss at that I don't like????? I did get confused--they are both going to be on the jury????? And, so what--think there still should have been someone voted off--but that would shorten their season by a week......and when did crazy Holly become the voice of wisdom and support---did I miss a show?????
.....still cheering for Jane....and can't wait 'til next week..........or, maybe it's next season that I'm looking forward to!!!
.....

Re: Holly - It was all due to the motivating power of Jimmy Johnson. Hee. You just know they included that because Probst is still pissed at them for voting him out so early. While he was there, every other word out of Probst's mouth was "Jimmy Johnson", and he made digs at the older tribe for weeks about how maybe they could have won this or that reward if they still had Jimmy J.
-
Jane appears to have stepped into the background and let Holly take over. She still speaks her mind but I didn't see Jane trying to talk anyone into staying. The other players seldom mention Jane in their strategy sessions. I hope Jane is in fact flying under the radar. I would like to see her win or at least make it to the final two.
-
I think Jane's doing it on purpose and I think it's smart. Since the quitters are on the jury, they're not going to like Holly for being so blunt at TC, basically saying that it was a dumb, selfish thing for them to quit. And Holly probably was sincere in offering to give up her part of the reward for others, but Na is going to say she did it just to make her look bad for not doing it. Others may take the opportunity to spin it that Holly's playing for jury votes, which could get her voted out. Jane's smart to lay low while someone else is sticking their neck out.
-
OK, that was confusing. Too many names tossed out as potential boots and then they pick... Benry? What in the world did he do to pop up on so many people's radar? It sounded like they were set to vote off Fabio, and although I would have hated that, it would have made sense since he's likable and didn't win immunity. But since they didn't get rid of Fabio, here's to hoping he goes on an immunity run and takes it all! Or Jane. I'd be happy with either of them wining.
Why in the heck did Na Onka seem so pleased with herself in the jury? Loser. Quitter. You, too, Purple Kelly.
-
I am worried about Jane. I hope she can manage to avoid being voted out until the final 4. If she makes it that far then she could win immunity and make it at least to the final three. If that is the last round, she will win.
Does anyone know if there will be a final three or a final two before the vote?
-
took 'til almost the end, but the show is finally good!!! Have no theories on who is going on through to the finals--I'm cheering for Jane--but, has been such an odd season--no telling who will be in the final vote or who the jury will vote for and why.....LOL....just wish the season had been as interesting as last couple shows.....already looking forward to next season.....
-
It would be hilarious if Dan made it to the final and won!!!
-
If Jane doesn't win some immunity, they will certainly vote her off, as she would def. win the jury votes. Best person to take to finals would be Dan. Who the heck is going to vote for him? If you noticed, the only time they even showed him was at TC. They didn't show him at all during the challenge. I hope final 2 (if its 2) are Jane and Fabio. Fabio might be a ditz, but he is likable. I missed the previous the show where Naonka and Purple Kelly quit. Was it a good one?
-
Wow. What a tribal council! Jane was such a strong competitor that they just had to get rid of her. Too bad. Now I don't care who wins, I don't think any of those left are truly worthy of the $. I hope Jane gets something, like money, at the finale.
-
I think Jane is wonderful. The remaining contestants were unsure about voting her off because she does all the work around camp. She is the one who set up the drag line to catch fish. I am glad she put out the fire even though they will most likely re-start it from the torches. There is no way I want to see Sash, Holly or Chase win or even make it to the final two. They could have carried Jane to the final four without danger. To vote her off now was just slimy. Chase is a complete loser and deserves to be voted out next. Sash is just a routine player without Brenda. Jane was right about Holly. Holly is a thief, a dirty player, and a manipulator.
Dan has done his best and voted strategically as has Fabio. It would be a pleasant surprise if they made it to the final two.
-
I, too, was sorry to see Jane voted off. Not a surprise because she was the greatest threat to the remaining few. It's the way they handled voting her off that was so mean and underhanded. Final tribal council will be interesting to see who she does cast her vote for--she raked all of them over the coals pretty good!!! If Dan makes it to the final vote, and wins, I will laugh out loud! I wrote him off at week one!!!! What a hoot THAT would be!
Not that long to wait for Sunday......should be a good conclusion.
-
I haven't written in a while..... I really like Jane and was sorry to see her go. I like Chase, but he seems unable to stand on his own and make a decision without the reassurances. Dan has managed to stay under the radar, how I don't know, but he has and I do like him. I am curious to see how the final epsisode plays out and how the jury votes. Then....I can't wait for a new, hopefully better season to start.
-
Man, that was great! Loved Jane dousing the fire and going off on the rest of them at tribal council. Chase has made so many stupid mistakes and Sash has made so many arrogant mistakes, I hope Fabio wins all the rest of the ICs, since Holly, Sash, and Chase were stupid enough to tell Dan and Fabio and the jury they're gone the minute they don't win immunity. I think the jury would give it to Fabio in a landslide if he could pull that off.
-
I was so sorry to see Jane go. I think Dan and Fabio did a dumb thing - if they had forced a tie between Jane and Holly and the tie breaker was fire, Jane would still be there. I am beginning to suspect that Dan very well might win.
-
I was super sorry to see Jane go and now I don't really care who wins because each of the final 5 seem to be either stupid, arrogant or undeserving in some way. I think it would be funny if Fabio won -- he's been such a doofus the entire season.
-
I think fire as a tie-breaker is only for F4. Before that, it's pulling a rock among those not tied or with immunity. So, Dan would have gone. Hmm, would they have done that knowing Dan was the only one without immunity or one of the ones tied? Doesn't sound like much of a 'tie-breaker', huh? I think Fabio considered it, but he needed to get rid of Jane without taking all the blame for it, for him to have a chance to win. So I can't entirely blame him there.
-
I just looked it up and you are 100% correct, Carolyn - if there had been a tie between Holly and Jane, they would have been granted immunity if the re-vote was still tied. Then, Sash and Chase had the immunity idols, Fabio had individual immunity and Dan would have gone home because he would have been the only survivor without immunity. I was wrong and I guess Dan isn't as dumb as I thought. Thanks for saying that.
Don't forget to watch on Sunday!!!
-
Of course, saying Dan isn't as dumb as we thought isn't saying much. LOL Sorry, Dan.
Thanks for reminding me the finale is Sunday!
-
I just found this thread! How fun, I haven't read all the posts but I'm hoping Holly or Fabio wins!!
