I know, just stop being nosy, right?
Night.

Editing the above post, because I was lucky enough to start the next page and want to post the teams.
Here is what I was going to post before:
A serving of asparagus is 6 spears, I can't stop at that, so I guess I will be getting at least two servings of vegetables when I eat asparagus, and will forego the hollandaise sauce.
-
No, Patoo. No one is nosy if they are gleaning information here.
-
Low calorie delicous snack

DH and I split an apple for dessert and it was jsut the thing to finish the day. More water. I need to drink more water. Maybe that is what makes the pipes sluggish. (Sorry ladies if that is TMI, but we can talk about all our dietary issues.)

Calling teaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam members.
How about JAYS, or BLUEBIRDS ????????????????????

Wow!! I leave work, come home and make dinner and BAM...4 PAGES OF POSTS IN 3 HOURS!!! AWESOME!!!
My story...age 39, 5 feet 7 inches, weight before BC = 145 lbs, weight now 182.6
Goal 160 lbs, but I would love to go back to my pre cancer weight (not sure that's possible with the new thyroid issues)
Ready to start 2011 with no more cancer!!!
Yea Hummingbirds!!!!
-
Thank you. Can you believe this is the sixth day of the year and we have done about 5 pages? I am excited that everyone else is getting jazzed.
-
I am in for 2011. Weight is now 203, 5'3" and 57yo. Started a healthy diet last week. Slowly increasing activity but still have some SEs and severe muscle weakness. The fatigue is pronounced and I realize this will improve over time. Plan to lose 50 to 60 pounds. Don't want to be skinny, need some fat to fill out the wrinkles!!
Going forward and not looking back!
Cheryl

Okay, I have updated the teams, Sorry for losing you Deb! Please help me if you see I have forgotten anyone. You ALL matter to me.
Team leaders, do you think we should limit the team sizes?
Some of you may have noticed that I removed all names from the heading for last year 's participants if they haven't come back yet.

Hi, Meece, et al; I would like to join this thread. I turn 50 in Feb, am 5'-9" and am currently weighing (post-holiday chocolate weight) 214 (in gym clothes and shoes). Ouch. I would like to be about 165, but would settle for getting under 190 at this point. I don't know the "rules" if there are any. I could use support to help get healthier, while not totally giving up chocolate.

Right now there are no rules for participating. The contest part is being worked on to give points for positive reinforcement. I will most likely be posting those by the end of the weekend.
Welcome, Bookart. (Your screen name has me facinated, what does it reflect?)
-
Putting today to bed. Thank you all for your wonderful support of this thread and each of the ladies on it. Good Night!

GOOD FRIDAY MORNING BIRDIES!!!
Meecie your flock is growing & growing!!!!
Welcome to all the newbies!!!!
Meecie, I wanna be sure you get Zogo & BCinColorado and Cheryl into a team and it looks like Mum will stay in the flock-at-large.
I think teams could be somewhat managable at 6 to 10 members...... but if we had another volunteer for team captain that might be particularly helpful and allow Meecie still to run the flock and oversee the whole party.
Volunteers??
OK. This being Friday it's weigh in day....................................
I just weighed in at 140.2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By my rules -- yet to be declared official by your fearless leader, I have gone down since my initial posting, so I garner a point for the hummingbirds!
Ultimately Meecie will determine what else we get points for.
Should we get a point for maintaining the very exact same weight from week to week??
Those few rare birds needing to 'add' weight, should be given a point when they gain.
In any case, I'm off to my hour long line dance aerobics class...... and trust me, I wanna point for that as well.
It's truly thrilling to me, to see some dear faces from other threads joining in and creating a flurry of activity around here.
[Is it just me, or does that little fellow belong here? Does he look a little bottom heavy?]
