Thinking Out Loud.....

Linda - you are too small to lose weight! I have gained 12 lbs since starting chemo and radiation. Sadly, I had lost 35 lbs earlier this year so I am heading right back up there. At my age. those pounds don't come off easily.
-
I just read a scary article on the home page of BCO about Arimidex.
-
The December 10th one. AL's being heartbreakers.
-
Thanks RCG but I used to be really tiny, now....not so much! LOL!! And you hardly look like you need to lose weight!
What did the article say, Deb?
-
So you are posting old pics then
And oh, I do!
-
Deb...i read the article which includes the Femara.
Its just a statistic. Like every other thing.
Are you having any heart issues?
-
God, I hope she is not having heart probs!!
Thanks again RCG, not old pics, just miss the old me!
-
No heart issues that I know of. I have been on Arimidex since July 26th, 2007.
-
Hey, Sheila, remember I can hold my own with a shot gun.
Was somebody shipping lobsters???
I lost anywhere from 10 to 15 lbs each round of chemo. I tried hard to gain weight bach before each chemo. Now, I can't lose any weight.
-
I cant really say i gained so much after DX.
Its just that its so difficult to even loose a pound.
6 weeks I'm watching what Im eating and only lost 3 pounds.
But it took the same amount of time to gain the 13 pounds.
My Blood work is excellent so far My DR is speechless. hahahaha
-
I must have joined the wrong group, you ALL lost weight with chemo? You need to gain weight? Did any of you have CMF?
Deb - I can't find that article.
-
I wish there was a like button here!
-
Diane...My weight loss was related to severe mouth sores. i just couldnt eat.
Yes Meece...i feel so much better now that i have my own army of women ready to attack.
Linda..What is it you liked so much?

-

-

-
Shelia,
Right now radiation is in the picture, being triple neg I need to throw every possible choice at this s#!t. I am not sure if I will do recon after rads or not. I will just have to see what I feel like after all of the rest of this.
Becky
-
Becky, what a nice name. My DD is a Becky also, Rebekah.
-
Mine is spelled Rebecca, but I was never even called Rebecca growing up. It was BECKY! in a very stern and loud voice when I was in trouble.
Then my brother had the nerve to marry another Becky and we (me and the other Becky)had a few interesting discussions. How would be identified?
Her choices "Old and new Becky?"
Me "Nope!"
Her, " Big and little Becky?"
Me, "Nope!"
My grandmother," That girl that your brother married, this time?"
Me, "That works for me!"
Then she got preg. and told me, "It will confuse the baby to have 2 Beckys in the family."
I just had to tell her that there would not be 2 Beckys. There would be Mommy and Aunt Becky. He turned 23 right before Christmas and has never confused us.
She is so stoopid, I don't even deal with her anymore.
Becky
-
That is quite an article - so now how many of you have been on aromitase and what are your SE"s?
