Thinking Out Loud.....

I am heading to the Chiropractor today. Long time coming.
-
Meece - I started using the xlair today, hope that will help...happy cracking
Sheila - can you get out now?
Chris - it does sound too cold to go out!
-
I heard side walks are icy.
So no I'm not going out and have an incident.
Air the area as much as you can. I know its not easy with people around but go to a room and air it.
-
I'm sending help to get you out of the snow...
-
hahahahahahaha
-
LOL! DS got some fresh air today and actually went outside! Now he is inside next door participating in a Nerf dart gun war with the neighbor boy and his dad. DD is parked in front of the tv watching the dvr - she says there is nothing on tv. Last night she disappeared to her room in a funk. Someone asked where she was and I said upstairs being a pill. DS said, "She is a pill on the sweater of society."

Hi all, thank you for the warm welcome. I can always talk about and read about food. Today we have rain here, much preferred to snow in TX. I also had chemo #4 of 6 today and then we stopped of at Jason's Deli for their beef stew. However, AG does sound better, especially if followed by dark chocolate for dessert.

Hi all. Just checked active topics today and found this thread. I see a lot of of you from other threads. I, too, think and read a lot about food.
For lunch I'm just having some left over biscuits an gravy I made (both from scratch) at the Senior Center Sunday. I cook there as a volunteer for breakfast Sunday and lunch Thursday.
-
Welcome Chabba. Nice to see you back Becky. Yes we talk alot about food. We love food! AG and chocolate!
Hot topic is exactly like Meece described. No head shop here, though.
LOTION!!!! Keep doing it several times a day.
Good luck with the chemo, chabba, I hope they are uneventful too.
Went for a 5 mile walk today in the snow. It was good to get out with my friend......away from kids. Sleepovers are planned for tonight. How many days till they go back to school? MARGARITA's will help!
-
Makraz, thanks for welcome. Sorry, misunderstanding. No chemo, I just started the 5 year Tamoxifen program sis weeks ago.
-
Mmmmm. Margaritas. We had mexican take-out last night - I wanted a take-out margarita!
I'm having some white zinfandel - someone's gotta finish off the bottle from Christmas, right?
-
Sorry Chabba, that was meant for Becky. Good luck on your tamoxiride. I have been taking it for 2 years and 2 months.
Absolutely Chris! Enjoy! You just reminded me of and old joke email about finishing things off. I will see if I can find it and post it.
-
I am passing this on to you because it definitely works, and we could
all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice
heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace. Dr. Phil
proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things
you've started and never finished." So, I looked around my house to see
all the things I started and hadn't finished and, before leaving the
house this morning, I finished off a bottle of&nbs p;merlot, a bottle of white
zinfandel, a bottle of Cuervo 1800, a bottle of Kahlua, a package of
Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the
cheesecake, some Doritos and a box of chocolates. You have no idea how
freaking good I feel. Please pass this on to those you feel might be in
need of inner peace. -
LOL! Better go finish off those chocolates from Christmas too!
-
I help you chris.
chabba...nice to see you here.
Becky.......Did you say dark chocolate/
I used to love the miniature Dove ones
Linda..Walking is not very easy here. They are not doing a good job on the sidewalks.
-
I had to walk in the street. They don't have sidewalks in most of this town. And where there are sidewalks, they don't plow. Very rural.
-
chris...I love Mexican food.
I never thought of a takeout.
Takeout for me is OCF> Which we didnt discuss it for a very long time
-
Tamales are my favorite MF. I can have it for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
-
I had enchiladas. We have an On the Border down the street, so DH ordered online and picked it up. New abbrev - MF.
We had to avoid some walkers and joggers on the streets today when I made my DD drive to her doctor appt. She said they should have been on the sidewalk - I told her not everyone shovels the sidewalks and then you're stuck having to run through snow. One time I was jogging and got to a section of sidewalk that wasn't shoveled. I stepped into three inches of snow with a puddle underneath. In my relatively new running shoes. And had to finish my run with wet feet. Not happy.
-
Don't go there Sheila!
-
FDIL and her mother made us Tamales. Mmmmmmmmmm! I had a drumstick and 4 peanut M&Ms for lunch today. Gotta thank about dinner now. Have an open bottle of Cab. If we finish that, I won't have to think about dinner.
-
Frozen brain syndrome.
I forgot what FDIL stands for
-
Future Daughter In Law
-
Thanks.
Can I use FSIL.
-
Yep, Yep. Do they have a date yet?
-
July 2012
-
I tried to plant the date of 12-12-12 inmy kids heads. They were engaged at a holiday light festival and I told them they should try to get that as their venue. I know, meddling mom.
-
The only thing I really meddled about was the location.
They wanted it in Hawaii but everybody is in NY.
I insisted that we will be so happy to go there for the wedding.
Well I have my own agendas. That was my dream a Beach Wedding and theirs too..
-
I am throwing out suggestions and they seem receptive, or at least not totally against them.
-
I had a unpleasant experience
This is for you know who in Linda's Tank
