Wacky word definitons is another thread I frequent.  Can't pass this up:

Michigander: a goose who has the hots for the Michelin tire guy

Curious? The object is to take a word and give it a new definition based on how it reads, how it sounds, etc.  Go to the thread if you like-we have fun there.

    We sure do!

Eph, just got off the phone with PM.  She sounds pretty darn good.  Loved hearing her laugh.

LOL.  I am a silly goose and I have the hots for DH so I'd best tell him to go get a job at Michelin!!!

PM is in my thoughts a lot!  Glad she sounded good.

Suzwes I cannot image it being 9 degrees.  We don't have that here in South Texas.  Stay bundled up.

    Hi everyone,

Current temp is 24 degrees with up to 16 inches of snow expected by Sunday morning.  TV news advises no travel tomorrow.  Then they tell us we will drop subzero beginning Sunday night.  Where is my "snuggie"?

I would be under a bunch of snuggies if the weather was that cold here.  Stay warm, catbill!

We are in for a soggy weekend.  We will be very wet but arn't threatened with the flooding that could hit most of western Washington.

Yesterday was not too bad, a little cold but no precipitation. Got up this morning with temps hovering around freezing and a freezing rain/snow mix and calling for more through the day. My hubby just left the house to start out toward NJ for a morning delivery. He tells me that he hates snow anytime he has to head North in the winter.

HI from northern surburb of Buffalo.  We were lucky, 1st snow storm dumped 42 inches of snow, all in the southtowns of ski country.  We had a whopping 7 inches.  Suppose to have rain, changing to sleet, changing to snow today with temps dropping into the teens, windchill subzero.  Ahhh Buffalo, wouldn't change it for the world. (really kidding, want to move somewhere warm as soon as son graduates from HS)

    Stay warm.

It is 7:30 this morning and 51 degrees.  It is fogy and the fog typically makes it a bit warmer.  Guessers say it will be around 68 this afternoon.  We are heading over to wine country to visit some friends, and perhaps do some tasting this afternoon.  It is foggy there right now, but supposed to be 73 this afternoon.  Nice!

It's 45 in Houston Texas and beautifully sunny.  Perfectly blue skies.  You don't get many days like this here ..... and for someone who loves Chicago I miss cold... it was so nice to get the newspaper this morning and see my breath!

Currently 36 degrees here. Been under a high wind warning since late last night but I haven't seen anything more than a bit of a gentle breeze from time to time.  It is getting gray and gloomy and the weather guessers are predicting heavy rain for tonight and tomorrow.  Not looking forward to going out into that mess tomorrow.  Got to give up and admit it's not summer anymore, I guess.

It was warm today.  I don't know tha it really got up to 73, but my sweater and jeans seemed very warm.  We aren't expected to have any precipitation until Saturday.  This is supposedly a La Nina year which means abnormally dry.  We'll see.

DRY! Not here.  In western Washington we have record flooding. At least this week end.

Drove from Medford to Salem Saturday AM starting @ 5AM in torrential downpour.  I had worked until 10PM, got up @ 4AM and drove 3.75 hours (record time, don't ask how fast the speedometer read-I don't want a ticket after the fact!) hydroplaning quite a bit of the time.  Rained ALL day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Today it was windy, but no precip--got back to Medford & it was foggy! Yuck!

We have had lovely weather lately - was 84 and humid on Saturday, a few degrees lower yesterday and 75 today and expected to remain about that for the rest of the week.  66 and humid at night is not so nice though.  Everyone is crying out for rain and we got some last week but a warm wind for a couple of days after pretty much sucked it up and took it away.

55 degrees, raining and windy.  The power has flickered once already this morning, so I've got an oil lamp going in case I end up getting dressed for work without power.  Had 3 inches of snow on the ground yesterday.  Welcome to winter in Maine.  Still, considering how much rain we're supposed to get  I'm glad it's not snow--wouldn't want to have to shovel all that crap!

7:00 AM temp at 25 degrees with high winds (wind chill at 14 degrees). wind is blowing too much for any snow to accumulate. The highs are predicted to be in the low 30's, our normal highs are 50 just to show how cold we really are. My heater usually cycles on and off when the temp reaches the set temp of 70 (economy setting runs it 10 degrees higher than actual set temp before shutting off) but it has stayed running on low constantly for the past hour trying to keep the house warm. Appalachian University (30 miles up the mountain from my house) is closed today due to the heavy snow that they got at the top of the mountains.

Last night my hubby was in Allentown PA and he said his truck thermometer showed it was 45 degrees. Crazy weather.

We are supposed to have the same temps today as yesterday, but clouds instead of fog.  When we get weather like you ladies, it definitely makes the news.

Buflo weather changing,  Rain did change, now a whopping 9 degrees outside.  Hubby did make it to Delaware this AM although the airports are a mess.  We're suppose to get 10+ inches of snow today but thinking it will be in the southern suburbs.  They actually like it there with all the ski slopes it really boosts the economy.  We seem to get the snow if comes from SW and over Lake Ontario (vs. Lake Erie),   Wish I was in CA at 68F.  The bright side, the hot flashed go quickly, just open the door and POOF, no more hot flash.  LOL    Tongue out  Have a super day.  Off to call onc for wicked bladder infection that antibiotics are not touching.  The burning is unbelievable!!  At least I'm DONE with A/C!!  I've had it with that treatment.

Never heard of seat warmers.  I would like to hear more about them for everyday use.  When I got into bed last night DH said I had buns of steel, and not because of their tone.

Meece they are my heated seats in my car.  I might have miss labeled them.  They are great for cold days.  They work immediatly and I don't have to wait on my car heater.

You can also get car seats that are both heated and air cooled.
