Had some delicious chicken noodle soup yesterday, not into beans/lentils very much. I was 131.5 today, although I'm down 2# from last week. I've really been fairly good and glued to the wagon this week.
-
162.6 officially.
I am going to do this. I made a huge pot of WW Taco Soup. I will eat this fordinner tonight and the leftovers for lunches and try very hard to stay away from anything fattening. ANDi will move more.
-
I'm sticking at 159 but I had pizza for supper got stop this. My hubby is a bad influence on me.
What to do??? Oh my got to get through these darned holidays and stay off the sweet stuff. I'm going to go to the gro. store and get some salad fixings and try doing that for lunch the next week. Maybe that will help and get off my butt and walk on that darn tread mill that I hate so very much. LOL... Go Birdies Go!!!!

My brother asked me yesterday if I was going to make him some Christmas cookies, you know, those really good soft cookies with the powdered sugar/milk frosting & decors on them?!? Oh, my, guess I'll have to tape my mouth shut when I make those next week.....
Love the holidays, love the goodies, but hate the goodies! And, I won't even mention that right after Christmas comes Valentine's Day. OOPS, did I say that!?!
-
I had fun making those cookies with FDIL and DIL last weekend, but I sent some home with each, made a platter for DH to take to work, and sent the rest to Japan. I had the fun, ate maybe 2 cookies and had no leftover temptation.
Move more, Meece, move more.

Sombody said post a pic of my luscious lentil soup...I didn't see that until after I served it last night. But you did not miss much. The soup was kind of a neutral color and I had it in boring white bowls; then the Greek yogurt was heavy and sank to the bottom so could not ber seen. It tasted much better than it looked, thank goodness!
-
I had my WW soup for lunch yesterday and dinner last night and tonight. I should stage some for a photo, it is yummy and I made way too much. I will freeze some to bring out later this month.
-
I'm going to make my wonderful taco soup for supper tomorrow night unless i change my mind. worked all day with my DH cleaning our house and by no means did we get done. OMGosh what a flipping mess, so much clutter it is ridiculous. I only wish that I could wave the magic wand and it would be done. Gotta finish it up Sunday so I can get my Christmas tree up tomorrow evening. I want my granddaughter to be able to see a tree and enjoy it. Definitely getting my exercise this weekend! LOL!!!!! Much love to you all sisters...
Oh yes, Eat like a bird!!!

I exercised by climbing up and down a ladder pruning a tree and decorating the outside of my house. I also tried to make a dent in the junk in the garage.
-
I was a slug this weekend. I went to two holiday open houses at businesses and ate like a pig! Not much exercise because I was so busy . . . going to holiday open houses
Today's another day and I hope to do very well today. Planning on hitting the gym after work! Good luck and here's to a new week ladies.
-
I am heading to Mom's to clean. She had a knee replacement a few weeks ago and can't scub the floors, so I will try to get some exercise that way.
-
I tied each of these bows on the trees Saturday!
-
Oh my, it looks incredibly beautiful and you are very ambitious!
-
DH put the lights on the eaves. I just put the greens on the windows and bows, bows everywhere!
-
Meecieieieieieie!!! I just LOVE seeing where you live. I now have a 'place' for your smiling face.
Well fellow LAB partners..... Our week in NYC & east coast extravaganza did as I could have predicted: spiked upwards on the scale. I'm only going to rejoice that the high hit 142.2 yesterday, as we were treated to several amazing meals in the BIG apple.
I have a plan!
A week from today is my birthday. I have a week to get back below the 140, my do not surpass mark. I look at this weight adventure as a marathon, but within the marathon are little 'sprints' that are much more manageable in their duration.
A week. I can be resonable for a week.
For a week I can remember all of those delicacies & treats & scrumptious nibbles and savor them in my memory, while getting back to our 'realistic' every day healthy eating.
Who wants to join me on my week long sprint to next Monday's birthday weigh in??
The upside is that I have a week.
The downside is that in this week I have a trip to UTAH!! and a red-eye flight back for a wedding on Saturday....... wowzers, indeed.
So I must make the most of these four days before the flight and weekend ahead.
The way I'm looking at it: balance. A bit of splurging and then some serious seat belt time.
Join me in the week to my birthday count down, blast away, behave yourself, eat-like-a-bird sprint.

I have found sugar free gum helps on long drive when I would much rather be snacking to pass the time. I used to used sunflower seeds but the salt level is soooooooo bad.
-
Meece, Oh! I see what you mean about going up and down the ladder yesterday. I'm going to come over and sit on one of those chairs and have an Egg-Nog with you, while we talk about what alternative materials could be used to make a snowman!
-
I'll volunteer to ship some of the snow in my yard to you. Then E and Meece can have more time to drink egg nog rather than figure out alternative snow man materials! The only thing I ask is take a sip for me.
-
I don't even know if we can find a "skim" Egg-Nog...and the real stuff is liquid weight gain. There a question...what kind of low-cal, yet festive, beverages can we have over the holidays?
-
My, Meecie, what an ambitious girl you are! Seriously, so festive ~ your home looks lovely. Looks like it belongs in a Home magazine!
Faithie ~ I will join you in your Birthday sprint - I have been holding 150 # for six days now. I need to move that number & I need to move period!
-
It has been seen in our area, not in my yard, a snowman or two made of stacked tumbleweeds painted white.
I'd never put one in mine because they drop seeds that can germinate for years!
-
Those chairs are nice wine drinking chairs to contemplate what changes need to be made in yard decor. I have four moree in the back if anyone else wants to stop by and sit a spell.
-
already flirting with my below 140 number..... twas 140.2 this morning
Valjean, keep moving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Way to go, Faithie!
-
Finally after 3 weeks I started to loose.
165.4
Meece would you please put that # in the top. Thanks.
Meece...how did I miss that beautiful picture of your home that you posted.
OMG the grass is so green and all those little bows its absolutely breathtaking.
-
Unfortunately we had had a frost and the False Heather in the foreground is brown, but it will be back up to its purple beauty in the spring.
-
Thank you for the compliment, Seyla.
-
My scale to a dive this week, so I rangled up the new battery (remember last time I put a used battery in it). Will step on the scale soon.
Since being out of work, I have been cooking better dinners, which isn't helping my weight! Meatloaf and mashed potatoes, Oven fried chicken... I have been making the larger dinners so we can have leftovers the next night.
-
I forgot to post yesterday, but 162.2 for me.
-
Wouldn't ya know it, I clock in, again, at 150#. Tues was 148.2, Wed 149.4 & Thurs 148.4, but on Friday weigh in day, at that dang 150 mark again.
