I haven't been on the site in quite some time. So sorry to hear. Lisa and Michelle you are both in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong!
-
I met the surgeon on Monday - I will have a partial (right side) thyroidectomy on Nov 23rd. Because I am keeping the left side, I won't need any synthroid and he feels no other treatments will be needed. I am both nervous about the surgery and thrilled that I won't need any further treatment. Now I just have to make it through my MRI tomorrow. Because of a allergic reaction to the contrast last year (full body rash), I have started steroids tonight, have to take another at 1am and again at 7am. I also have to take a benedryl and Valium at 7am for my 8am MRI...I have a feeling that I won't know if I am coming or going and I don't think I am going to care
Thank God for friends who will take me to my appointments...
((((Jedi's))))

Paulding (Lisa) - How are you doing?? Thinking of you...

Best Thanksgiving wishes to all the Jedis.
-
No nasty contrast reaction today - YAY!!!
I spent an hour in the MRI, my hands feel asleep, back ached and every time I started to doze off I would hear "ok...the next set will be 6 minutes..."
Wow, they better have gotten a trillion awesome views. Had major steroid munchies - EVIL!!! an was wired and tired at the same time. I told everyone in the attached room that had to have the results by FRIDAY so I could let me surgeon know that we can move forward with the de-portation
How is that for the power of postive thinking!
-
Michelle - you sound like you are doing great. Will keep thinking of you and wishing you all the best.

-
Thanks for the input Joni. Is there some thread in particular that is keeping up with Lisa? Or where she is posting? Obviously there is not much activity on this thread.
