There might be other threads, but I know they are trying to keep up with how she is on the Middle-Aged Women 40 to 60ish thread.

thanks

Lisa....praying for you to regain your strength quickly. You are such a warrior!!

Gilly, looks like you found a thread where PauldingMom updates are posted mostly by Meece who talks to Lisa regularly-I was trying to until I started working this 2nd job. Anyway, for those of you who might be interested Middle-Aged Women 40-60ish is where you can probably keep up fairly well with what's happening with Lisa.

Hello Jedis!
Joni it is very cold here, it has been below freezing for days, which is quite unusual for this country. It was -10 yesterday, brrrr! We have some snow but not very deep. It is having an effect on the postal service though, so those presents I ordered online took ages to arrive. Flights out of the country are affected too and we are planning to fly out to Lanzarote on Thursday. Wonder if we will get there?
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. I think of you all often. Lisa you especially are in my thoughts just now. Hugs and prayers. xoxo
-
Jayne - after all I have heard, flying out on Thursday will be a challenge!! Which airport? My sister in Lancashire said they had 7 inches of snow at the weekend. More than we got in Idaho!
-
Gill - We are due to fly from Birmingham. At the moment flights are taking off from there to Lanzarote. The last one I found on their website was delayed by 1 hour 20 mins which is not bad considering. I'll be happy if that is the worst that happens ;-)
-
fingers crossed!

Hope all had a Merry Christmas. This one was one of the best with all the family here. My thoghts are with Lisa. How is she??. hugs Dianne
-
WOW...we had 25+ inches of snow here today! It was nice, though, to stay inside w/ the family where it was cozy. We ate way too much, but it was fun!
I hope you all had a great Christmas. Also thinking about Lisa. Does anyone know how she's doing?
Hugs to all,
Sherrill

I sent Lisa a PM, but haven't heard anything.
Joni!

jacee...Lisa didn't log in since December 3rd.
I know someone talked to her on the phone she was in the hospital coming home I think 2 days before Christmas.
-
I think Joni (Eph3-12) has some contact with Lisa.
-
Girls, I talked with Lisa on the 22nd or 23rd briefly. She sounded pretty weak, but she was home and was looking forward to Christmas. I will post again as soon as I know something new (I plan on calling this week.)

Hello Everyone, It has benn awhile since anyone posted. I have been thinking and praying for Lisa and was hopeing so was everyone. I have been doing fine. Trying to lose weight. It has been hard considering the doc told me that Tamoxifin makes it harder and he said that I couild gain between 10-15 pounds. Is anyone having this same problem. Also found out that tamoxifin makes you lose hair. Mine is thinner and hard to fix. Hate this stuff. I had curly thick hair befoie, now it is curly in some parts of the head and straight in others. Hope all are having a good winter and staying warm\. Hugs to all Dianne

Hugs back-Lisa is doing OK-she is doing the trial & is doing chemo. Her computer was/is broken so she's not posting much.
-
Hi - just to let you know I keep this thread in my favs and watch for posts.
-
Found out that I cant spell. That what happens when you are doing your taxes. It is cold here and started to calve out the cows. -7 this morning. Hope everyone is well and am glad Lisa is doing well. Jusy wondering how she was doing. Curious, do your docs do tumor markers and what number are they. Mine have been about 24. Hugs to all Dianne
-
Good to hear from everyone. I too, think of Lisa frequently and always enjoy hearing updates. I know she is fighting hard.
Dianne- I'm on femara and had gained alot of upper abdomen weight, probably 12 lbs. Then had bilateral DIEP recon and lost about 30 lbs. So far I've kept about 25 off. I do have tumor markers (CA25-27) every 3 months. Mine are at 14. At the highest I think they were 28, and that was during chemo. Hugs & Happy (early) Valentines Day to all......Joni1
