I feel the love. and the Valium and the sleeping pill and the gatoraid infusion. Where are the sexy male nurses??? Guess that will be another prayer. My sense of humor still well in tack.

I feel ackward breaking into this right now, but Our God is Great. He knows what we are feeling and what we want, and His will will be done.
Matt called awhile ago and I listened as his Neurologist came and spoke with him. He is doing pretty well, and will be moved down to CCU soon, later in the next day or two. He is suffering with extreme head pain, but the dr. says it is swelling from the injury and will probably continue until day 5-7 post stroke. He is having asthma issues and is on steroids for that, Prilosec, Trazadone for anti-seizure purposes, aspirin and blood thinners, Benedryl for the itiching in his surgery site, and a non-narcotic pain killer for his head and ankle. He is allowed to go on short walks as long as someone is with him. The stroke affected his right side and his ability to write, so they are going to have him in Occupation therapy to help with that. That is about all I know right now. Thank you for being here with me. I love you all!

Lisa i hope you are still awake

Yes Sheila, I certainly remember our meeting on Chemo July '09.
Paulding, think "Antonio Banderas" "Antonio Banderas" "Antonio Banderas"
Meece-how great to talk to you!
Love ya all! Let's just keep the faith & keep praying for all our sisters!

Just read the last several pages after not checking in for a few days! Huge hugs for Lisa and Meece. God is in control. May He cover you both with His Peace (that passeth understanding). Keep your sense of humor Lisa - it is a great testimony to those around you. One day at a time Meece. Take a deep breat and another and another.
Remember - God is awesome, He knows just what is ahead for each of us, and He will NEVER leave us!
-
Thank you for our chat Joni.
Again, PM and I post at the same time, and I look like I am callous. Geesh. I guess you and I have a thinking connection that makes us post at the same time.
-
you aren't callous Meece-quit that! You 2 just are mind-melded & posting at the same time!!!

Our Heavenly Father, gather unto your care, our sister Lisa and her family. This day has brought frightening news, but with you Lord, we know that all things are possible. Please help her to continue to be strong and to not give into her fear. Be with her family and help them to be encouraging to each other and may they seek you for comfort and guidance. We ask for your peace upon Lisa, her family and her friends. Amen

Amen!

Seyla I am now

Amen Okay you goof, this twin stuff has got to stop Meece.
Dear Heavenly Father. Stand beside Matt as he contours to make great strides in his recovery. Get his Mom there safely and quickly. Keep them both strong in faith in you and your never ending love. Keep all his doctors, nurses and care givers smart and caring. Show this boy your strength through him. Make him whole. In your name I pray, Amen
-
Dear God, You have two hands and two of my sisters need to be held gently in Your care. Please hold them and love them and give them peace, in each, their time of need. In Jesus' name. Amen.
-
Amen.
I am going to continue to be a goof if I have even the slightest chance of putting a smile on your face.

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There's a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!Refrain
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion-
For more than conquerors we are!Refrain
His Word shall not fail you-He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell! -

My sister lives in Lake Oswego, those look like the Japanese Gardens in Portland. Are they?
-
-
I am not sure where they are, these are googled pictures. I wanted to start looking at beautiful creations.
The orange flowers are to fill your hospital room, Lisa!
