You goof! I'm smiling and laughing my ass off. Now I'm gonna have to roll this PIA IV across the room to go pee. TMI?
Did miss Joni tell you we are huge Chicago Bear fans or something? Love the Navy and Orange
Thank you sweetheart. My room is dazzling.
-
No, Joni didn't tell me. I just always enjoy seeing your orange flowers in your avatar.

Lisa, oh my dear Lisa. I am so sorry to hear this and will amp up the prayers for you. I know this had to be the hardest news to get for your family. I hate this disease. I just noticed you are a Triple Negative also, like me. That's scary for me with your diagnosis this week. So unexpected by you I'm sure.
Dear Lord God, please be with Lisa and her family in this time of unsettling news. Guide the Dr.'s skills, hands and knowledge to be able to help her. Bring about a wonderful healing to rid her body of these new cancer areas. Give her and her family a real sense of peace in you and let them always know you are close by for them to recline in your loving arms for a respite from this dreaded disease. Be ever close to Lisa and give her all that she needs for the days ahead and keep her looking forward and upward to better days to come. Grant her all consuming peace. In the wonderful matchless name of Jesus, Amen!
(((HUGS))) Lisa,
Juanita

Not sure if Elizabeth has ever frequented this thread but she (Eban)) needs some good vibes and prayers to help her handle things right now.
-
Meece the cheeto picture is priceless! In the midst of the orangeness!
Good morning garden friends. I think I know what to pray without ceasing is. My head has a constant tape, "Lord, be with Lisa & Matt."
It's Friday if that's of any help whatsoever!
-
Hey, Joni, in case you didn't notice, I wasn't crying when we talked, so you are good medicince!!!
-
I did notice-I wasn't either; trying to be strong sucks!
-
I agree. My eyes already look like they are pasked for a long trip with the bags under them.
-
you know they charge extra for more than one bag now

Tired tonight. But I come to the Garden. Okay crazy ladies, these flowers are filling up my room and now I have to sleep in the hallway! Thank you all so very much.
-
PM, Now you have me giggling.
I had a wonderful talk with PM tonight. This woman is amazing and I will leave it at that. At the end of our conversation I indicated that we would do a "Keep PauldingMom's Spirits up Marathon". She said "Keep it coming" or was it "You've gotta be kidding" No,it was "KEEP IT COMING".
Let's keep lifting PM up in prayer and lifting her spirits with beautiful pictures, prayers and inspirations. Humor is also going to be a great help right about now.
We are strong ladies indeed, Joni. Neither of us cried during our conversation either. Maybe we don't have the tears left after the week we've been through, but none the less, we are strong.
-
I met Lisa on her July Chemo 2009 thread.
Her sense of humor used to make me LOL all the time.
You didnt loose an ounce of it.
Meece we have to be careful with too many flowers I think she is alergic and we dont want her to sleep in the hallway.
HUGS to two special sister/friend.
-
You are right, sleeping in the hallway is yucky, I've done it before.
Here's a little story you could imagine PM:
When Matt was just starting to sleep in his big boy bed he would not stay in it. I could get him to go to sleep but then so many times each night he would end up by my side of my bed either trying to wake me, or sleeping on the floor.
I couldn't let it go on so I took a sleeping bag and slept in the hallway in front of his door. And every time he went walkabout, I was right there to get him back in bed. Two nights of that and he was sleeping in his bed all night long.
At least my hallway floor was carpeted, not cold tile like the one you are sleeping on, PM.

Seyla, haven't you noticed? The beauty of these flowers is that you can imagine how lovely they smell, but they won't make you sneeze or give you a headache.
Another thing to consider:
God gave us the beautiful aromas of flowers, plants, foods, puppies breath, a baby after a bath, sheets after they dry on a clothesline, a breeze coming off the ocean...
-
Raj, although many of the flower pics were on Google, the one that says PXLEYES in the corner, is a star flower. I bought one in May and it has re-sprouted (it is from a bulb). It is a vivid orange and even when the flower is dry, it retains the beautiful orange color.
