Thanks Jazzy for the answer! I screwed up my hip really bad dancing Friday night, took pain meds so I could dance on Saturday just so I could mess it up some more. Yesterday was really painful. I probably won't set up FB until next week. I have to learn how to use it! I swore I would never do FB.
-
So sorry several of you came home sick. Get well soon!!!
Jancie, you are so funny. I hope you did not mess up your hip to bad.
I probably need some guidence posting my pics on shutterfly. I have never posted there before and it seems a little confusing...of course most anything confuses me...hehehe
I am still recovering from the trip....those 2 hrs of time difference took a toll on me.....
Been out looking for new bedroom furniture today.....argggggg....China and Vietnam stuff sucks..
-
great Mona! I REALLY enjoyed meeting you and you better come next year..:) Sisters are sisters for life eh?
Ladies... many of you have found the SISTERHOOD FB.
Again.. it is under Laura Estepp.. ( it would not let me put TATA as my fist name and SISTERHOOD as my last...LOL) You need to make a new facebook just for the TATA's... not other friends and family... this keeps us private...:) See you on FB!
-
Your welcome Jennifer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Linda, I kind of messed up posting on shutterfly, made 3 albums by mistake, one of which is blank. Sorry! I dragged the photos from iphoto to my desktop than was able to select them and upload. Does that help? Loved seeing the photos posted!
Tats went well yesterday, tho the big reveal is Monday. I feel pretty good except for this darn cold.
How funny that we all noticed and tried to figure out Olive and Brutus! Lilah, love that image of Sandy paddling her way home! Sounds like a fun adventure under the stars!
Happy Thanksgiving to my new Canadian friends!
-
Thanks Katey....will return the wishes to you next month when it's your turn
I'm going to try to get on the new FB account...wish me luck!
Mona...Welcome home!
Just got back from a beautiful drive in the country...the colors on the trees are amazing. I love the fall - too bad though that it means winter is on the way!
-
Ok...I am one big major computer dummie & this can't wiat for my daughter to teach me when she learns it all in school..she is still in 1st grade!! LOL LOL I've been trying all sorts of ways & end of with some of the same problems some of you are speaking of...So...pulling out the "BIG GUNS" & sent JAZZY a HELP e-mail!! Just remember when you post your wonderful photos to still put them on the Shutterfly account..we can order them from there...not sure how it works on FB, but from some of my experience..you can only print one at a time off that & it's not easy to do either....again...remember who is chatting here....Major Computer Dummie!!!
Hang in there my poor sweet sick Sister's-I gave part of it to my Daughter..poor thing!
SWEET MEMORIES WHERE WE WERE AT THIS TIME LAST WEEK GETTING READY FOR OUR BIG NITE!!!!!!!! 360 GIVE OR TAKE DAYS TILL OUR 3RD REUNION!! WAHOOOO!!
Take care Chow XOXO (((HUGS))) Susie
-
OK, I created my new account, I'm Terri myfivesixtysel (had the same problem as Linda fiftyfour).
Terri
-
I have downloaded my pics on Shutterfly..took a while!!
-
OK girls the problemm I found is...I was inviting the girls I already have on my other fb ...so I had to DELETE you. We need to remember to only invite those who have their real name then their screen name.
Susie You will have to come up with a different email address acct. Like open a hotmail or yahoo account. Make it just for your tata fb...you could make your email something like SusieZeeMears@hotmail.com
In order to log into your tata fb you need to log out of your other fb and then log into the tata fb.
Then remember to go to your security settings and click "friends only" on everything.
If I'm wrong please let me know. :-)
-
If we have set up a second Facebook account to use JUST for our TaTa sisters then we need to do two things - I think. 1) Make sure you check - Friends Only on your security settings (thank you Jazz) and 2) Only invite those that have the tata name - as example - I am Gretchen Journey on my TaTa account. Not my full name which I use for my regular FB account. This is the only way I think we can really share stuff without the rest of our world looking in. So, if you have sent me a request to friend on FB and I have not responded then please check to be sure you are trying to friend the right account with your account. (Full to Full and TaTa to TaTa account.)
Thanks for the thumbs up on the Speed date / meet & greet. I'll be very happy to help work on that once we get closer to the next reunion.
Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian sisters!!

i broke my left arm yesterday - horse again - can only type with one hand, be back when feeling better

JANICE-NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Honey I'm sooo very sorry....It just doesn't seem fair!! Sending Power Prayers your way that things will start on the mend ASAP 0:) Not gonna tell you to stay off your Beautiful Horse, I have a Dear friend who trains horses & has had to stay off for almost 2 months now due to a ankel problem & it's driving her crazy-they are part of her life-so know from her how you might feel. If you need anything this way..just let me know (((HUGS)))
Ok-TATA'S...I'm making this harder than it is...alot of you have figured out how to create a new FB, last nite I tried yet again on yahoo & internet explore...still says I have an account & won't let me creat a new one.....ARGGGGGGG
Jazzy...will try to open a hotmail account & cross fingers..just not sure how to go about it without being on aol??????
Thank you to all of you for your continued concerns on my health..it's taking a toll on my lungs with all the coughin & I'm starting on the 2nd batch of meds today..scary thing is what is this doing to my tummy..this was part of the reason's I ended up getting hernia's..the big piece of mesh should keep it all in!!!
Love ya all Continued Power Prayers to get better 0:) (((HUGS)))
Take care Chow XOXO Susie
-
Oh Jancie that is terrible. Sorry to hear about your arm. Has the hubby said the horse has got to go yet - LOL - I know mine would have after this last incident. Take care and hope that arm doesn't take too long to heal. SAskie
-
JANCIE! No way!!! ARGH! I hope you heal quickly. What a bummer.
Susie, girlfriend, you have GOT to get some luck in the health department SOON! Feel better.
-
Well, I uploaded my pics to Shutterfly, but somehow they wound up on both the 2nd Reunion page and the 1st Reunion page. Not sure how that happened. I tried to delete the album from the 1st Reunion page and it wouldn't allow me to. Packer, help!
-
LADIES.... PLEASE DO NOT SHOOT ME
I have CHANGED OUR TATA THREAD ON FB.
LOOK FOR US UNDER:
TATA SISTERHOOD. <---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is where we are now. Just search it... and with your NEW account...and I will add you.
AS JOURNEY said... make sure you check.. FRIENDS ONLY. I have done this on our thread.
I am sorry for the inconvenience.
-
Jancie! That pretty horse dropped you! Hope you heal quickly and aren't hurting too much!
Susie, Sorry you're feeling so crummy, who shared these sore throats in Vegas?! Honey is soothing mine! the sticky kind, not the dh! I just signed on to facebook this week and the thought of starting another account? Just can't do it at this point:)
-
OK Laura there is a ta ta sisterhood but I don't think that's us...what does the pic look like??
-
OK OUR FB PAGE....THERE IS NO SPACE IN BETWEEN THE TA AND THE TA....SO
SEARCH FOR "TATA SISTERHOOD"...
NOT "TA TA SISTERHOOD"
-
OK girls my tata screen name is: "janet jazzygem". I know somebody was having problems finding me...there is NO SPACE between jazzy and gem. :-)
{{{{{JANCIE}}}}}....Hope it wasn't Jazzy!!!!

Dear Sisters--Although I'm not around much anymore, you are all in my hearts. Today I finished the Portland Half Marathon, after hours in the pouring rain, bailed on and left by the person I was doing it with, tired, demoralized, blistered feet, the sweeper van following me and waiting for me to ask to be driven back in, and tears coming down my face. Who did I think of when I wanted to quit? All of you, and all that we have been through together the last two years. I thought of the Vegas pictures and how beautiful you all looked, and I kept on going. I love you all, sisters who remember me and new ones who don't. Two years ago I was volunteering at the marathon and thought it looked like something I would like to do, the next day I was dx'd. On 10.10.10. even though close to last, I won, thank you all so much. Vegas next year.
Love and hugs--Karen
-
KAREN... Please CONSIDER joining us on the TATA SISTERHOOD FBpage.... you will just need to create a new name.... Karen Kew would be you....Please join us... you are an original TATA. I am also praying for you....
-
Karen....you made me tear up..thank you for keeping us in your thoughts. You're a winner anyway you look at it.... looking forward to seeing you next year in Vegas!
Jancie, OH NO!!! So sorry! How could that horse do that to you! Hope you're feeling better soon.
Susie, hang in there........ sending healing prayers to get you through this.
Terri

Hey great idea for the FB page. I set it up, all by myself, a big feat since I am not technologically savy! Suzie I know how you feel-kids can figure out the computer or cell phone with their eyes closed! I hope you start feeling better!
Jancie-I hope you are resting and healing. Take it easy...
