I have a few photos and will pm packer! Vegas Val, I think you better explain your "it"! haha! I had all those special gifts in that nice bag that Claire made, showed the dh, we were both so moved. Thank you again!! Elizabeth, that pink hat was great, hoping to see some more fun pix with it! I have a sore throat also, thought it was from all the singing, hope I didn't hurt anyone's ears!!
Laura, beautiful message to any newbies to the site!
-
ALLLLLRIGHT I GUESS WE NEED TO GO BACK TO VEGAS ASAP!!!! I TOTALLY MISSED OUT ON THE PIMP HAT!!!!!!!
-
Hi all, Just got back yesterday from my extended stay in LV with the DH and want to say THANK YOU for the millionth time to all of you who helped make our amazing Ta-Ta sisterhood weekend happen!!!! I had such a great time meeting so many of you and my only regret is that I didn't have much time to really talk with so many and I missed a few of you altogether. I guess that's reason enough to go again next year! (Among many other reasons!!!!) Thanks also to each of you who gave all the beautiful gifts with everyone. That was totally unexpected, and just showed once again what lovely and generous women are in this group. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!!!!!!!!! I'll PM Packer to figure out how to upload and see pics. : )

THIS WAS TRULY ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF MY ENTIRE LIFE! Will never forget! Each minute was priceless and so much fun! The gifts were so unexpected and precious!
OK, so what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas? (local gal here ...) To those who brought their colds and sinus infections - they stayed right here with both my husband and I. The gift that just keeps on giving ... I'm starting to feel better, Louie is getting to where I was two days ago.
Can hardly wait to see the photos!

I just uploaded my photos to Shutterfly and am in the process of uploading some videos in btwn making pickled beets for Thanksgiving...I'm going to be off the boards from tomorrow afternoon until late Saturday evening - I'm sure I'm going to have tons to catch up on. Just wanted to say I LOVE YOU GUYS...EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU !!!!! How many days till Vegas 2011?????????
Terri

Sorry to hear that some of you got sick...I was well when I got there...guess to much FUN wore this old gal out & ended up having to rest after all the partying!!!
(((HUGS))) & Get wells
Take care Chow XOXO Susie
-
Terri - Pickled beets??? You are so Martha Stewart!!! Thank goodness there is plenty of time for us (me, you and Sylvia) to sign up for Arthur Murray dance lessons. We are going to put Olive Oyl and Brutus to shame next year.
xo Colleen
-
So Colleen who are you calling Olive Oil and who are you calling Brutus??????
Just thought I would ask - the other Sylvia - SAskie
-
Colleen...the pickled beets was not my idea...lol went to the grocery store to buy a few to roast with some other veggies for Thanksgiving and they only had a 20lb bag!....So it was get the bag or nothing! As for dance lessons....I'm in ! Not sure I understand the Olive Oyl and Brutus comment although I do understand that Val has some interesting uses for olive oil...!!!!!!!! Guess it's just the 2 Sylvia's and me that are officially giving thanks this weekend.
PS... I keep sneaking down to look at the Vegas pictures...guests must wonder where I disappear to every now and then...SHHHHHHH!
Terri
-
Okay, Okay!! The "IT" that Terri referred to did NOT under any circumstances involve men - I swear! I mentioned that I was a "Vegas Virgin" last weekend, and someone (can't remember now) then called me "Val the Vegas Virgin." That's the IT that got "lost".....sorry it wasn't anything juicier for y'all....:) (stupid smileys aren't working...)
-
And I'm NOT going to elaborate HERE about THAT, Terri!! Y'all can just use your imaginations...
-
Ladies - You are all so wonderful. I will post my pictures as soon as I hear from Packer how to access the site. Thanks again to all our wonderful giving sisters! Your hard work is appreciated! And the CD of music is delightful! Thanks so much for a lovely weekend!
P.S. Fortunately I have not gotten sick, so I guess we didn't all catch the cold that was going around. Feel better ladies!
-
Olive Oyl and Brutus are the names I gave to the couple that were all over the dance floor at La Scena. She was all legs and arms and he was all stomach and burly face. Shame on me....
-
Love the OO and Brutus description, LOL! They were one weird sight.
All of you who are sick - hope you feel better soon!!!
-
@ OTHER LAURA!...lol I swear...if I have to dig ditches for the next year...I will join you at the next Vegas get-together! Thanks for your kind words...you and the other girls here are true leaders, motivators and organizers!
I am so happy you ALL made it safely - there and back! Rock on ta tas (even though I don't have any...snifff, sniff...lol)!
-
Val, THAT explains a few things...not that I thought otherwise of you..you're TOO SWEET!!!!!!!
As for Colleen's description of the dancers... that about sums it up as far as I'd say !
Hope all those that aren't feeling well get better soon!
Terri
-
Coleen ,
Great description of the couple at la Scena ... What a sight ...they did make a quick exit as soon as the Ta Ta's took over the dance floor . I think we should brush up on our pole dancing for next year lol.....
Saskie .. it was great meeting you as well and I am definitely in for next year !!!! I also need to prepare for Thanksgiving dinner so I will be off the boards for the next couple of days.. I am having Vegas withdrawals and can't seem to concentrate on getting anything done .... luckily I am off work till next Wednesday ...
Terri -- pickled beets Yummy .....
Love you guys!!!
Sylvia
-
Terri and Sylvia ~ So educate me, do you have Thanksgiving in October?? Are you going to bring us all pickled beets next year since you have 10 lbs of them?? Do pickled beets go well in Bloody Mary's?!? It could be considered a meal if I recall . . . . .
BTW ~ I came home to rain and 75 degrees in San Diego and felt so bad that you were going home to 40 degree temps. Hopefully it warmed up for you!!
xo Colleen
-
That was like a comedy show at LeScena.. Though they were really good dancers I have to say.. She was so slim and attractive and he was....I'll just leave it at that! I also have pictures that I plan on posting at soon as I get the log on info...You ladies were all so wonderful. Like Tracy said earlier when I came to this sight I was looking for nothing but information and support. So glad I found the support and information plus a whole lot more.. BC sisters are the best we rock!
.
-
Colleen, our Thanksgiving is on Monday. I haven't even bought the turkey yet but plan to do so tomorrow. Have all the other goodies to go along with it though. The beets were just something that "came about". It was not my intention to spend the day boiling, peeling, slicing and bottling!!As for the bloody Mary's,if you can have celery in there, why not beets! I probably have more than enough to go around!!!!!!!
Sylvia, my fellow Canadian, hope all is well with you and you are well prepared for the festivities this weekend!
Going up now to entertain my brother and his lady friend. Maybe I'll ask them if they've heard the latest use for OO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
