Mimi, I'm sure I was following you yesterday at lunch. I saw a car with the license plate
F♥R MIMI
I immediately thought of you. I tried to take a pic with my phone, but by the time I was ready the car was too far away.
-
Oh I wish I could have seen it!
I would love to afford a personalized tag!!!
Thanks for thinking of me Meece...

Meecie ~ I hope you are feeling much better. I so hate headaches & I have had more than my fair share in my lifetime. Migraines that put me right down & headaches due to a change in the barometric pressure. Used to have them when I was menstruating, too.
Sorry for the confusion on my weigh in. I was just excited because I've been doing good this week & had lost a few #'s. lol
Hope we all are pleased tomorrow!

Nothing much Val. I was good this week.

Good Morning E-Labbers.
I'm better than last week.
161lb (with my glasses on)
I lost 2. I know I'm not walking the way I used too, its being too hot.
Have a great Friday and weekend.
Faith..You are good it shows how much exercising makes a difference on body and mind.
Ladies keep up the good work.

Okay so I've been sick and haven't been able to eat much. Yesterday had a piece of banana bread and a bowl of soup. But I'll take the weight loss anyway I can get it.
-
Okay, I lost this week, but darned if I took the picture and forgot to upload it, I think it was 161.8. I know it was under 162. That will be my new low for E-LAB and that is after 4 vacation days, and splurging on link sausage!!
I will have to post when I get home that evening. You'll know it is a new pic, cuz I painted my toes pink yesterday!
-
YAY ! for faith, Meecie, Lisa & Sheila on your losses!!!!
I'm still 147.4. More work to do, but I WILL do it!
We are all on the right track, we just have some bumps in the road that throw us up & off course sometimes. Our destination is in plain sight, we WILL get there in time.
♥ Hugs to all ♥
faith ~ I used to love skipping when I was a kid. And I have some scars on my knees to remind me!
Lisa ~ Hope you're feeling better. Being sick is ick!
-
We can do it. Just little changes can make a difference.
Someone brought home made cookies to work today, still warm from the oven. Everyone rushed to get some. I took two, one more than I should have, but they smelled so good. I saw others with Paper towels full of cookies. A coworker urged me to "take some more" I told her I was happy with losing weight this week and wouldn't jeopardize that. She told me I ought to get the shape-up tennis shoes. Like having a firm "Big" tush is better than a not so firm smaller one.
Choices, ladies, choices.
-
Yah for all the weight losses!!! I'm still at 141 lbs!!!
I'm thinking I may get a little stuck there for a while. But that's o.k. I will be happy to maintain for a little while... I shall see how it goes. The dieting trend for me shall never end it will be my life. Gotta stay healthy, wealthy and wise!!!
Hi back at you Sheila and Val Jean!!!
Renee
-
I think, for me, once I get down to the weight I want, I should be fairly easy to stay there. Look how long I've been in the low 160s!!!!!!!!
-
Congrats to allllllllllllllll making better choices & stacking them one on top of the other.
Whoooooot!!! Whoooooooot!!!!!!!
Move more, eat less.
Move more, eat less.
Move more, eat less.
xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
Maybe I should develop a melody for that mantra!! It could be a best seller!!!
-
I think you should write an E-LAB song. We could exercise to it.
-
Meece that would be great!! Write that E-LAB song and we will sing as merrily we go along... LOL!!
Renee
P.S. this must be a slow week since I am the only one to post this week. Meece hasn't posted since Saturday and today is Weds. Hope all is well with everyone???
-
Friday is coming Friday is coming.
We are getting ready.
-
Tomorrow is W-day. I am feeling good for at least holding under the 162 mark, if not better. Last night we went for sushi for our first time. We ate for three hours, or should I say we visited with a friend that long, and the food kept coming. He ordered lots for us to try. We came home with enough for our full dinner tonight. I hope it was healthy for me. My fave was yellow tail sashimi.
Everytime I start feeling like I am on the right track excersing, my bursitis acts up. Yesterday was the first time in nearly a weak I could walk without pain. Will be seeing the chiro tomorrow and it always helps.
-
Congrats to everyone who is losing... and crograts to everyone on here for putting in the effort to get healthy! I am still here for those of you who need my help with your diets!

jenn1975, besides extra muscle mass (and the extra exercise to create that,) have you any tips to boost metabolism? Previously, I could eat like a (small) hoss and not worry much about a weight spike. Then, I went on Cymbalta for a few months. I know it messed with my brain chemistry and it made me "drowsy" so that I was less active. I am off of that now, and back to old activity, but my metabolism seems not to have rebounded. Would appreciate info. you might have on this. Thanks!
-
Elimar- Eat several times a day. Let me tell you my typical day to give you an idea.
7:00 am I have 2 tbsp of flax seed oil w/ 4 tbsp of organic cottage cheese.
7:30 am I have fruit... strawberries, cantaloupe, blueberries & black or rasberries.
10:30 am I have some grapes
12:00 pm I have some raw veggies
1:00 pm I have a few chuncks of hormone free cheese
3:00 I have some nuts... walnuts, almonds or unslated sunflower seeds. (be cafeful with that because a cup of seeds is 1000 calories)
5:00 some more raw veggies
7:00 dinner usually more veggies and either fish of beans
I also drink a gallon of water a day.
I know that I am super strict and dont expect anyone to be like me but at least this gives you a blueprint.
Jenn
-
Thansk. I was and still am pretty much a "grazer" throughout the day already.
-
Elimar write down everything you eat for 2 days and PM it to me so I can take a look at it to see what can be tweaked.
Jenn
-
jenn, Thanks for the offer, but I will pass on it. I would be good for those two days just to avoid censure. That's just how self-conscious (and sneaky) I am. I'll give myself a big tweak...eat less, move more.
-
This is not the place to announce this but I am anyway.......
At 2:24 this morning I got a call from my daughter Christine (Hawaii) telling me that they are engaged.
Im soooo happy no sleep last night and no appetite today.
Tomorrow she celebrates her 30th Birthday with a ring on her finger.
.
-
Congrats to your daughter S! Nothing sez "wake-y, wake-y, eggs and bac-y" like an engagement in another time zone. (Make that wake-y, wake-y, Weetabix, almond milk and blueberries; but that fails miserably at the rhyme!)
