Prayers, Blessings & Wishes for Saint

Just off the phone with Saint!!!!!
She is THRILLED to report that today is the best that she felt in weeks!!!!
She was able to go to church, go then to teach the teen-confirmation class and then go out to lunch!!! She's noticed that Sundays have been her best day of the week for sometime, but today she feels sooooo good.
I read all the posts on this thread and she seirously laughed-out-loud at many of them.
Her sister Mo is staying until Thurs.
She said that both her daughter & sister commented that they feel her eye is 'less crossed' than it has been.
Praying that the treatment is going to be successful!!!

Saint, I am glad you have got Faith on a "programme" of fresh air and walking.. nothing like you to inspire her. Great that your Mo's there.
Just back from a weekend away (just up the road nearly) with my wee 6 year old girl, "me with mummy time", what a treasure she is.. made me think of you and your treasure Cinderella girl. Wishing you a good week, lots of good sleeps, good visits and with any luck "some more of the freshesttttttt pretzels eeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
Peachy vibes on their way.

brrrrrrr it's cold in wisconsin. we're expected to get about four inches of snow tonight, so my family is staying shut up in the house as long as we can. LOL
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Adventure fund. I'm truly grateful and proud to announce that we've raised over $1000 from you wonderful people alone! The musical is going and there's nothing any of us can do to stop it, but we're all working our tails off here. haha
Much love!!
Cinderella.

Still sending hugs and prayers to you Saint!!!
Even if I'm not logging on, I'm still thinking of you and praying you're getting through these treatments with flying colors!!! ((((hugs))))
-
Hey Cinderella, good to hear from you
Not much sympathy for your snow - I'm in Phila, PA and we got 28 over the weekend, with another 12-18 forecasted for tonight/tomorrow. You're supposed to get those storms, not us!!! So glad the Fund is increasing - it'll be time to leave before you know it! Tell Mom hi from all of us, although I know Faith is reading our posts to her when she has time. Hugs sweetie. -
Great news to report, via my phone messages.
Saint left a wonderful long, rambling message this morning, while I was out walking myself, that she has had FOUR good days in a row!!! The infusion of fluids, followed by the blood transfusion have literally given her the gift of wonderful days..... four of them.
It's snowing like crazy in WI and she was going to leave early in an effort to make it to her treatment and hopefully get in early and back home while roads still managable.
She had such strength in her voice. I called right back, but didn't get her, so I left her a long rambling message of all the love gathering around here on her behalf.
Hopefully we'll catch up later today.

Thanks for the good news Faith.
Hugs to both♥

Faith typing, Saint speaking:
"Caught up on both threads. Thanks for all the prayers and support. While I'm still feeling 'good' today, I'm also feeling blue because Mo leaves tomorrow. This has been an AMAZING ten day visit. She has gone out of her way to nurse me when I was sick and has helped around the house. There's nothing like having your own personal slave..... and that's the mantle she herself donned. I can't imagine what it's going to be like when she leaves.
There's three treaments left.... so far the snow has not kept us away."
Hugs,
Be well & stay strong!!
-
P.S. Thru tears...... and tears and more tears:
"I'm gonna miss her so bad, I can't even imagine."
-
So very happy Saint is feeling better. It is just too wonderful for words.
-
Faith,
Thanks for the updates... I'm so happy that Saint is feeling better!! Thank you Dear God...

-
so glad you had a wonderful visit Saint. that really makes me happy.
-
So happy you are rallying. God is awesome.
Sorry Mo has to leave but I'm sure you will probably be in touch regularly. There's a special bond between sisters - I have 2 so I know. My brother, well that's another story - okay, just kidding, he's a spoiled brat being the youngest but he's my baby-bro. You and Mo will always have these special 10 days. When she's left, dry the tears, close your eyes and feel her presence.
-
Saint, when I miss my sisters I just close my eyes and imagine them sitting in my living room and watching TV with me just like we did when they visited me after my surgery 3 yrs ago........I still miss tem but I go back to my old Ky home at least once a year now.....Am aiming for twice this year but we shall see........
-
Good morning everyone.
I'm just off the phone with Saint.
She's having a really rough time in contemplating that Mo leaves today. Tomorrow she will be back to being on her own again.
She spiked a fever last night and is beginning to "feel" the accumulation of the rads exhaustion. She's really smacked after feeling good for a couple of days, to be back on the downhill slope.
I know that she will appreciate your prayers for her strength for these two remaining treatments and the s.e. that will no-doubt unfurl over the coming days.
Please pray for her continued strength in the onslaught of so much.
We made a plan that she will call me first thing in the morning when she wakes up tomorrow--and I'll keep her company. She is now going to go say goodby to Mo who will return to Europe this afternoon.

Sending prayers for strength. Faith thank you so much for being such a good friend and keeping us updated. God bless.
-
Aww Pat, I'm so sorry Mo had to go home, but how wonderful that you guys had such a good time that you're saddened by her leaving, ya know? Just two treatments to go - you've come way too far to achieve these results to let anything get in your way ... we're lifting you up dear Saint ... let us carry you for a while until this round of treatments is over and done with and you can come in here yourself and tell us how much they helped, in your own inimitable style. I mean, Faith is good at translating and all, but we want you back!!! (No offense Deb
) -
Saint, I'm so glad to see that you and Mo have had such a great visit. I am praying this tx works a miracle for you. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. Gentle hugs.
