I continue to hold you in my prayers, dear Saint.

Spent the morning on the phone with Saint. We didn't read posts, we just talked.
Of the various ups and downs. Of our unlikely, wonderful friendship -- of what the other means thru all of the hills and valleys. We talked at length of where she is now. Of the impact of the continual pain upon her outlook...... and of what 'good' she could do with so many limitations.
It was a heart-rending conversation and we took turns crying. I can't remember what made us laugh, but I know that we did.
She has yet to 'experience' any positive blip from this treatment, but we are both praying that the cumulative effect will bring some relief/progress/noticeable improvement.
Her time with Mo was just what the doctor ordered. Her sister Bert will be arriving in 3 weeks to see Cinderella on stage and so she is already looking forward to that visit.
Pray for her strength. Pray for her courage.
These are very hard days. We speak heart-to-heart at every opportunity & she is so grateful for your continued support.

Off the phone w/Saint.
SHE'S COMPLETED the 10 radiation protocol.
She felt better last night, was able to go out for a bite of dinner after treatment and then went on to the high school for the Faculty Follies, which her DH helped orchestrate as a fundraiser for the Scotland trip. Her DH did a duet with Cinderella and performed segways between acts with a 'band' of merry-makers.
Anyhow, I could tell what a difference was in her mood & attitude, today vs. the beginning of yesterday.
We visited about my latest cock-a-mamie idea/project that is hatching in my head. LOL.
We attempted to piece together how we met. LOLOL. Our memories stored two different versions of the same experience: imagine that!
It was such an upbeat conversation. Maybe because the sun was shining here?? I felt such admiration for this sister of ours. What her journey has been about. The toll of each chapter.
She 'works' very hard to eat.... not an easy effort, but food sounded good to her today.

**My DH & I have tickets for the BIG community-wide Valentine's Day dance tonight. We are big 'swing-dancers' and we have been working with my arms to see what I can accomplish. This will be my first 'big' festivity in fluffies. I am soooo excited

HUGS Saint. God orchestrated Mo, He's sending Bert and He's keeping Faith because of your faith. Relax and feel Him heal.
Blessings.

Patoo. It's so 'funny' you'd mention that timing. Just today, I finally 'remembered' to tell Saint that I have an invitation to work in Chicago in April. I have carved out a few days afterward to go to see her/Saint.
So just earlier this afternoon, she was saying Bert for March, Faith for April and maybe Mo can come back in May.
She needs landmarks to look forward to!!
-
Saint, gentle hugs to you, sweet sister.....Strength and Courage, dear friend.....
Faith, thanks for the update.....
Mo, safe travels, Saint's sister....... -
I am just in awe! Of the wonderful things you are doing for our Saint and us, keeping in touch with her and keeping in touch with us.
I will say it again, "You all are such wonderful courageous women"♥

Cinderella, you truly have a lovely voice. DH.... I also learned that song as a child, what a marvelous story it is, none better than Jesus and his Glory. So many of the old humns are going to be forgotten because of this new music that is out that is mostly all noise and no message.
Saint...glad to hear that you are feeling better, hope this new treatment will improve your eyesight andt many good things will happen for you. Again, thank you for you strength, courage and most of all for serving and witnessing. Bless You Sister.

Cinderella!!!! and daddy!!!!!!!
I just got on for the first time to hear your duet.
INCREDIBLE!!
Allen came in from his office to listen with me. He said to let you know how proud he is of your talents and thinks your confidence has grown since fall -- when we heard you last.
What an amazing tribute to have forever.

I spoke with Saint this morning.
She is thrilled to have mastered the latest radiation protocal and is amazed to think of it in the past tense. She's delighted not to be making that daily commute.
Her husband set up a program of kind folks willing to come to their home to keep Saint company. They are on a rotation to come from around noon until 5:00. She is looking forward to the visitors and thinks it's a good plan.
She was able to go to church yesterday and stayed again for the confirmation class.
The Cinderella musical is making progress toward completion and she is looking forard to those performances. She told me more about the Faculty Follies -- which sounded like great fun!
I gave her a full report on my latest project here & getting my little 'studio' set up & operational.
She says hi! I was out walking myself while we spoke, so hadn't turned the computer on yet. Twill need to read your greetings to her tomorrow.
