    I'm as good at remembering everyone as I am at doing houseworkEmbarassed so I hesitate to start a list.

    I think I'll ditto Barbe's post and simply add some hugs of my own.    ((((((((((DustyBuns))))))))))

    I've read that many here are in need of special (and I quote a famous English gal) "peachy vibes".  I pray for better days ahead.

    Amen Sharon!!!  It seems every I turn there's someone "hurting".  My best friend of 40 + years has been waiting to be a grandma forever....well, they found out yesterday that little Jillian, 18 weeks gestation is not gonna make it.  She only has 1/4 of her brain and no left jaw....  It really brought me down last night...one of those that goes on my shelf because I'm soooooooo sad. 

    Anybody got some good news????  I could sure use it!!!!   Love you all... janet

    Good news:   My bingo friends are taking me to lunch at Red Lobster today.  Tomorrow my son is taking me to late lunch or early dinner (to be decided in the morning).   Tomorrow, Jan 24, is my birthday and I made it another year.

    wowzers......Deb, bkc, Vivvygirl.........it's good to see ya'll!!! It's so good to hear about the kids and family!! Vivvy, sure sounds like your boy is a keeper. You trained him well!!! And bkc it looks like ya'll are still taking care of the critters:) Haven't done anymore painting lately, have you? LOL....I've wondered how you got along after your incident:) Oh DebOhio....you do need to come back here 'cause some of us (me) ....LOL....aren't with it on FB...LOL. Just can't wrap my brains around that one yet!!

    Wow Wow Wow, Coonie, you are the queeeeeeenn on here! Gosh, how did you retain all those keen sharp brain cells after chemo, I sure lost a few good ones! Brill, non list, list. You ARE one switched on bunny! Even when you are delicate. Those 10 hour shifts are too long! I do hope you are feeling a wee bit better.

    Good morning all.  Thank you ever so much for the birthday wishes.   The gals at bingo last night had a cake for me and I was totally stuffed from the lunch of shrimp bruchetta and scampi entree.   Awaiting the phone call as to when son and dil will pick me up for our celebration.    Maybe I should get in the shower and get dressed...   HUGS,   Nancy

    Nancy, lovey, Happy Birthday, sounds like you are well underway to having a great, yummy Birthday!-- Calories are halved on your birthday, did you know,as well as on Thanks giving and Christmas day, so enjoy and indulge daaaaaaaaling!!

    Oh Coonie, if I did blushing, or it wasn't so "toooo much" I would blush, I am sure you top me on a daily basis. Did you not read the script on you in Faith's WINNER recounting of her meeting with you?? You are the deviiinely sweet one.

    Arnie, and Barbe, if you send me your email addresses on a pm, i'll gladly send you the pics of my wonderful kiddos. Maybe put your "proper" address also for pics the old fashion way, for when I get myself, eventually, please God, "back on top".

    Coonie,  (just keeping you updated) MRI and extra xray on the 8th of Feb now, then back on the 17th or the next week (half term getting in the way) back to oncs for those and blood results and probably further investigations. Onc wanted to wait on this set of tests before deciding on CT. Lemonette, I am. Hope you are feeling better.

    It is hard keeping up with you guys.  I got a recipe off the stage 4 formum for Crazy Cake and made it.  It was the first time I made a cake from scratch and it turned out remarkably yummy.  Everyone loves it, even my picky hubby.  My only other success in the kitchen was a banana bread.  Why is it called Crazy Cake... there is no dairy and no egg or nut in it (unless you count cocoa powder).  Here's the recipe (so I can find it again LOL)

    Crazy Cake

    3 cups of flour                  1 tsp vanilla

    1tsp salt                          2 tsp vinegar

    2 tsp baking soda             3/4 cup oil (veggie oil)

    1/3 cup cocoa                  2 cups water

    Stir together with wire whisk.  Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan.

    Bake at 350F for 35 minutes

    Result luscious chocolate cake.
