Everyone - Tracey is going to be posting a new thread about the 2nd Vegas reunion the end of this month....
Sandy: My family is from Greenville, SC - I was born in a nearby city....I have not been back for many years though...it is a beautiful part of the world. So glad you had fun....if you get a chance to use that house next year......hmmmm.....I might be able to go!!!
-
Did you get an i-Phone Sandy? I was thinking of getting a Blackberry when my contract comes up for a new phone....but does anyone know....would I be able to post here via a Blackberry?
-
I have a blackberry... and yes... I can post... It is like having a mini mini PC...:)
-
I work for a cell phone company, so if you have any questions just let me know...one of my phones, my primary one is a Blackberry 8900 it is awesome and I post online alot with it. What company do you use?
-
Laura: Good to know!!! Excellent!
Teresa - I have Verizon. I was looking at the Blackberry Tour....it was getting good ratings and I want keys instead of a touch screen...
-
Kelsey and I just got new phones through www.straighttalk.com you only have to pay a monthly fee and no contracts. You can get 1000 minutes, 1000 text and 30mb mobile web for $30 a month. Or you can get what I signed up for this month and get unlimited everything for $45 a month. It has worked ok for me but a little hard getting on line sometimes. As Kelsey just said a Blackberry would be liget... I think that means much better but I'm sure it would cost more so we settled for what we got...
-
Very interesting....I am looking at the website right now....thanks Sandy! The monthly fee for the Blackberry for internet is $30.00 and that is separate from the Verizon monthly charges...
-
Wippetmom/Tracey: When is the 2nd Annual TA TA Vegas trip? My job requires leave forecasting for the entire year NLT 1/15/10. And then it goes by seniority. I want to be my leave scheduled. Thank you..............
-
Hi ladies,
This is totally off-topic, but thought I would post this here just in case. My sister and her husband booked a hotel and event tickets for the Olympics in Vancouver for next month and aren't going to be able to go. The hotel has given them until the end of this week to find someone else to take their spot or they lose their deposit. If you know anyone who wants to go and is looking for accomodations or event tickets, let me know ASAP!
Thanks,
Tracy

Just checking in. I had a petscan done on Monday - I insisted on getting one because I wanted a baseline in case I start having weird stuff going on later. I was lucky to sleep 3 hours last night as I was fretting over the results. I had a follow up appt with my breast surgeon today so I called their office yesterday requesting they get a copy of the report. The surgeon said "no abnormalities" I was so exhausted from lack of sleep that I forgot to even ask for a copy of the report. I had to cancel my riding lesson today because I was flat out too tired to drive one hour, ride an hour, and then drive one hour back home. I spent the day in bed but wasn't able to fall asleep for more than 1 hour.
I am leaving January 13th to San Francisco for 10 days. If anyone lives in that area, let me know and maybe we can meet up. My friend that I am staying with lives in Sunset area of San Francisco. I don't know what that means but she did say she was 8 blocks from the beach.

Wonderful Jancie.... CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
-
From what I know.. no date as of yet... but some are thinking Oct... I am going to be there ( IN VEGAS) In August.. so I SURE WISH they would make it AUGUST.. LOL... so I can just stay... but I have a friend ( from here ) that wants to go.. but cannot go in Sept... ( Gov. job).. so Oct would work for her... but maybe she will pop in her and put her vote in...
-
RE: 2nd Ta-Ta Reunion:
October seems to be the month we are aiming for....and it IS Breast Cancer Awareness month....I vote for mid-October - 15th, 16th, 17th....although I do see that the 8th, 9th, 10th corresponds with Columbus Day. Are there those who work for a company which observes Columbus Day? As I recall, banks and schools observe this day....but then we might have booking issues in Vegas if it is a holiday weekend. Something to consider....
Tracey will be posting a new thread soon!
-
I would love to get a date set very soon, I also need to request the time off in advance. October maybe an issue for me so I may not be able to attend.
My understanding the farther you get into the winter month the more costly vegas tends to be, I guess maybe because people are trying to avoid the cold? A holiday weekend would definitely be more costly for flights, at least in my experience. I bet Tracey would know more about that though.

I'm in for the 2nd reunion!!!!! Saving every extra penny I can. Just gotta keep myself healthy-after seeing my surgon the other day, might be facing another surgery in 3-6 months, so...trying to keep a positive out look on the whole thing. Still have the wound vac, looking at perhaps 3-4 more weeks. Surgeon decided to put in 3 staples un the upper part of the wound above the belly button....no numbing!! The process of each staple would've been as painful as getting a needle, the 3rd one hurt the worst,it was right next to the belly button. There is a concern about a stitch holding the hernia in place-it is leaking-not good. The girls had been packing the wound vac sponge under the intestine of the stitch-might be part of the reason, will check it next week-that is where the surgery comes in-if not better, will have to address it later.I might also ge getting more staples next week depending on the healing of the wound. It was 7-8 inches long & 7cm deep. If Dr. decides to do more staples, will do it at the hopsital this time, but a in & out procedure giving me locals to take care of it. You know waht Sista's?? I never truely realized how sick I was-I didn't think it was that bad,but I was given a diability parking permit for the next 6 months-I don't know why that hit me so hard, but made me see that this is really a mircle that I'm still here. I can't begin to tell you how much more I've learned about MRSA. According to all the history of this horrible bacteria, I should've died-I'm soooo Thankful God felt it best for me to be here. My biggest motivation-Aurora, my Daughter!!!! Love my hubby, but I get up each day for her.
Sorry..I tend to go on & on. On another note-new TA TA'S might not be in my future due to my past history with foreign things in my body. But it's ok-they don't make me the woman I am!!!
I Love you all & can't wait till we get our next reunion date set!!!!!!!!
Take care CHow XOXO Susie
