1st Ta Ta Sisterhood Reunion in Vegas

August would be best for those of us with jobs the revolve around the 'fiscal year'. Close out is September and the new year begins in October. ALWAYS a mad house during those two months. Avoiding holidays IS less expense for hotels, airfare and mileage tickets. August is quite a bit hotter than October and there should be fewer crowds. Just my 2 cents. I can't wait to meet all of you in person! I really appreciate the support and laughs.
-
Laceyk, you must work for the federal government? I'm glad my 32 years of worrying about year-end closeout are over! It's still a problem for my hubby, though. Good to see you again; I sure hope you can join us!
Tracey: Please, please, please don't schedule our reunion the lst weekend of October, because I have a convention then! Anytime else is OK....!
-
Hello everyone, hope you are doing well. I went to the Onco today and everything seems to be good. Not quite a complete clean bill of health, because I have this cough that will not go away. It started when I had a sinus infection and strep at the same time sometime in early December. He does not seem to be very concerned, he said if it has not gotten better in 2 weeks we will do a chest x-ray. I think a vacation in a warm tropical island is my cure...What do you think? Anybody wants to go to Bahamas for a long weekend LOL.
Regarding Vegas, August is a really bad month for me. September is a little bit better. I can do October either of those 2 weeks you guys mentioned. This is as of right now and we all know how things change.
Well, hope everybody is good, Susie I am so glad to hear things are going better for you.
Hugs

I am putting a vote in for October - any weekend is fine with me. I have been to Vegas in August - believe me - it is like a sauna there to where you don't even want to walk outside. Way too HOT!
-
September or October for me, although my husband is having a major milestone birthday on October 14th so if the trip includes that day, I will likely not be able to make it.
But it is definitely in my plans for the year!

Hi to all TA TA's
Jancie- great news about your clear test. Soooooooooooo happy for you.
Susie- I hope you are feeling better and your healing continues. You are right your boobs do not make you what you are and you are special.
Gisella- happy you had a good visit at the onc's, sorry you still have that cough. Would love to vacation with you, a trip would be great.
Okay, I have a funny story. I went for a physical this week w/ my GP. Everything was fine and she gave me a Birthday present. I was so happy to think my doctor remembered my Birthday. And what to my big surprise was the gift, a referral for a COLONOSCOPY. She was so proud to hand over that little piece of paper. It made me laugh at the time. I do not think I will be laughing during the test.
Can't wait to start planing for the 2nd TA TA reunion. The only weekend I will not be able to attend is oct. 8-10. My niece is getting married in Long Island and I will be at the wedding.
Okay, I'm running on here. Sending everyone (((((Hugs and Prayers)))))

Cheryl -- That is so funny; a birthday referral for a colonoscopy. My doctor keeps trying to get me to have a colonoscopy. I keep delaying it. I can't have both ends being treated at the same time. Good to hear from you. See you in Vegas, baby!
-
THAT was great Cheryl !... hehe.... we all are about the right age for that...hehe... oh it is great aging...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
-
You Girls crack me up LOL LOL Ok then, a colonoscopy isn't as bad as it sounds-been there done that-they put you out during the procedure,it's the prep work you have to do the day before that isn't fun to be honest with you!!!! Stay close to the bathroom.
With all this resting I'm doing & unable to do alot-I thought to myself now would be a great time to put together my "TATA SISTERHOOD" Scrapbook. Now what I need to know is have all of you TA TA Sista's who went to Vegas downloaded your photo's yet???? Jazzy, what about Claire? I know she got me with Michael Jackson at the legends show, but haven't seen any of her's-Clare you out there?? Can you download yours Please. I've already gotten the ones from Jazzy,Packers photo's,TATA Trip,Q's Pic's & TaTa Sisterhood in vegas---5 entires. I know things get crazy, but just wanted everybit of memories each Sista got that I might have missed to capture our time together.
I hear alot of us wanting to lose more weight & get in shape the healthy way. I lost yet another 20lbs during my stay at Hospital resort, have put 5 of them back on since home. Not quite the way I wanted to lose it,but I'll take it seeing how's I gained 50lbs in one month from being on Predsone-so I feel I'm owed the lost LOL LOL
Love you all & continued Power Prayers for all the healing & preparing for the next journey you have to take. Congrat's for the Happy new's-we all need to hear those as well

Take care My Dear wonderful TATA Sista's Chow XOXO Susie

Susie, I have not add my pics to shutterfly. Not sure what I am doing, will try to figure it out soon.
My mom made me a beautiful scrape book for my birthday from our trip to Vegas with all of the TA TA's. She made me cry, while looking at it.
I hope everyone is doing well. Sending (((((Hugs and Prayers)))))

Hey, ladies! Claude and I got together for a very enjoyable lunch today. She came to Arizona to visit family. It was so nice meet with one of the Vegas gang again. I tried to inset a picture, but was unsuccessful. Any tips?
-
Me, the quite one of the group, plans on going-anytime is fine with me! My daughter will be an UNLV senior, so again it will be, two, two, two treats in one! As a matter of fact, today is her 21st birthday! She has to work early in the morning tomorrow so she had no special plans, except dinner with some friends.
Susie, glad you are feeling better! Losing weight is on my agenda. PlanetFitness just opened up 5 minutes from my home. $10 a month to belong to a gym. Can't beat the price, so I have no excuse not to lose weight now.
Heymoose! I hope your mom is planning to come again!
Got my first haircut (trim) since it started growing back. It will be a year in March. I think tamoxifen slows the growth.
Firstmate, glad you and Claude had a nice visit. I'm sure she enjoyed the weather!
I hate my foob. It looks and feels so unnatural. I'm just not sure what my next move will be.
Have a great evening ladies!
-
hi ladies...
my computer is down at home so stopped in the library

I will e-mail my doc in a couple more days and see if I can get my results before my Jan 26 appointment that I set up 6 months ago
