Hi Saint!
You are in my thoughts and in my prayers!
A funny thing that I remember about you when I first met you..many times we were chatting and people were coming over to your place to drop off food and wine and stuff!! i think this is when you broke your leg!
Before you know it you will be at home enjoying yet again another feast! Just go easy on the red wine please!
Love ya .... Kosh

Here's a report from the other thread.
I have copied this post from LuAnnH, so that you have the lastest update here as well.
LuAnn writes:
I AM SO EXCITED!!!! SAINT CALLED ME THIS MORNING!!! You just can't know how my heart jumped when I saw her number on the caller ID.
The first message though is to Saint's Sister. She wanted you to know the only reason she has not called you is because she can't call overseas with her cell! LOL She did say to please keep trying to call her though. Every time you call she is in the potty or in a scan tube. So she wanted you to know why she couldn't call you and for you to keep trying to reach her.
Saint sounded wonderful, like her old self back to the business of living. She is making a few calls but it is a slow go because she gets winded and worn out. She just said she appreciates all the thoughs and prayers and is thankful for all the love and support.
She is hoping she can get to the boards again soon to catch up and to try and post herself. So who knows we may find a post from her soon. I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know she sounded good and hopes to be back to post sometime in the near future before I forget! LOL

Isn't that just the greatest news? Amazing, amazing, Saint you are amazing!!!
Thanks once again Faith and LuAnn.
Gentle hugs to all the Saints.
Edit to add, thank you Saint's Dr.

Thank You Jesus!.......Our prayers have been answered..........LuAnnH and Faith thank you for the update......

Sharon, that picture shows all the brightness and hope we all feel when we get such good news like LuAnnH shared with us. Thanks for copying from the other thread Faith. You're doing such an awesome job of keeping us filled in. I'd be going nuts without your posts. Only thing better will be when we start seeing Saint posting again, but I can be patient. Healing takes time. Hugs to you all

I talked to Saint late this afternoon.
She was in the midst of getting a transfusion, but it had been nearly a week since the last one. She is amazed and yet filled with hope that the surgery is sending things in the right direction for her blood.
She wants her onc to speak to the big-wig specialists up @ the University and let them know of this incredible development.
We talked that in her willingness to be a "guinea pig" she's hoping that her medical team learns a great deal -- things that can be applied for other women in the future. (She's always thinking of others.)
She's realistically hopeful that she's going to be 'sprung' from the hospital tomorrow.
We talked about how she will manage the stairs at home & other possible solutions for healing.
Her local sister will bring the turkey & all the fixin's and it will be understated, relaxed.
She is off of all the crazy-creating meds. Only taking percocet as needed.
As LuAnn reported earlier, she has minimal energy.
Continued prayers, team. Continued thoughts of healing.
(((((((((((((((((((Saint))))))))))))))))))))
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.

Blessings, Blessings, Blessings.
Blessings to our sister Saint and to her sisters.
Blessings upon each & every person who has posted encouragement here.
Blessings to each & every person who has read along and sent prayers & strength in their own way.
Blessings to Saint's medical team who are indeed her extended family.
Blessings to her immediate family.
Blessings for the unique sisterhood we develop here -- entering into each other's lives in the dark hours, holding hands until the dawn.
Blessings for the miracle that we have witnessed in the strength & courage that Pat has demonstrated for all to see.
Blessings of hope. Hope for another chapter. Hope for another holiday at hand.
Blessings for acceptance. Acceptance that these newest scars can be turned from freakie Frankenstein into a treasure map, of the most valuable treasure.
Blessings of admiration, in the face of challenge.
Saint, may this day and the next be filled with blessings. May you have the opportunity to be amid your adoring family and look into their eyes and celebrate all that is at hand.
Blessings of love.
Blessings of sisterhood.
Blessings of all that you have learned & all that you teach.

Faith - that was awesome. You always say just the right things and express them so well. Thank you for your updates.
Saint - what can anyone say - when they made warriors they gave you extra spirit. I am so happy that you are improving, you little miracle, and will be home (hopefully) for Thanksgiving where plenty of thanks will be given for your recovery. May the Lord continue to bestow His blessings on you. Love. Kathleen

Brief update:spoke to Greg today. Pat was still too weak on Thursday to be released from hospital. He said she was about to be "sprung" for an hour on a pass to come home and have dinner with them. He expects that she will be officially released on Sat. or Sun. He said he would let me know when she was "really" home, so that I could call her.
-
I hope tomorrow is THE sprung day (((((Saint))))). Sending prayers of strength.
Thank you for the update Mo.

This is what I just posted on the other thread. Then came here to find the news from you, Mo.
Good morning, Saint, Saint sisters and Sisters-of-our-Saint.
I just wanted you to know that I've called once each day & have not connected with Saint over the Thanksgiving holiday.
At this point I am still in the dark over the specifics of how and where she was able to spend the day.
When I leave messages I remind her of all of the love & support being expressed here -- by everyone.
Will report in when I have any news.
Turkey onward. Turkey on.

Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Praying that your amazing strength be rebuilt by all of the prayers & well wishes here Pat.
Be gentle with yourself in this process of recovery from the surgery.
Sending you healing thoughts from a snow covered Ohio.

Edited to add a picture of Thanksgiving..... and the bounty of this season:
