Prayers, Blessings & Wishes for Saint

So this is good news, I think. I pray that removing the spleen and ovaries helps to reduce the stress and strain on St Pat's body, and breathing has got to be easier without all that fluid. I pray for an easy and uneventful recovery! I pray for our feisty girl and family, I pray for acceptance, I pray for options, I pray for peace & restfulness & love & healing & comfort & no pain or discomfort, I pray for Saint.

This news of Saint has put a smile on my face. Bless you Saint. take your time and recover sister.

Woohoo Mo - great news! OOh do we still have to accept or can I be a renegade again? Red ribbons galore - we are coming back Lord - The surgeons plugged the leak. Saint - sending lots of laughter energy and healing - can't accept right now, my mind won't let me - I did it for a while but - gooness gracious me! You are amazing :-)
Thanks Lord - thanks you to the universe - thank you to all we beleive in - thanks to those who only beleive in us - a positive thought is a prayer of a kind - this is a step away from the brink - keep that sliver cord taut -
Hugs to Mo and sisters ....

Dear Lord, thank You for Your continued blessings for Saint and her healing....Lord we know that with You all things are possible....I come to You this morning Lord in supplication....Asking that You heal our dear sister Pat as only You can heal.....Please guide the doctors in their work to help our friend and sister.......Also Lord please help us accept whatever the outcome is to be.....We know Lord that only You know when we will be called home but it is so hard ot accept sometimes when our loved ones move on in their journey.........Lord thank You for all of the blessings You have given me and my family.......PLease watch out for all my family and friends today as they go about their lives....Please keep Pat safe and watch over her family and friends today also......In Jesus' Name ...Amen
Pat, know that I love you and miss you here......You are a blessing to us all and we miss your witty and loving advice and friendship........
Strength and courage, sweet sister, Strength and courage........ -
Mo, thank you so much for the updates.......Sending special hugs to you today......I know how hard it must be for you to be so far away....When my sister was dx with cancer and so sick I could not get to her either...It was so hard.....But talking on the phone helped a little......Hopefully you will get to be with her soon.......

(copied from the other thread)
We go about our 'work' for the day.
Me to my exhibit hall for singing & dancing & mingling -- while sending prayers and intentions of hope and trust mid-song.
Saint to acceptance and recovery -- while learning anew what it is to be helpless & waited upon.
Maura to healing and wholeness -- while building bridges of love letters an ocean away.
It's all part of the same journey.
Threads woven over and around one another.
Glimmers of hope sprinkled like beads.
Knots of encouragement tied thru poem, prayers, songs, and solidarity.
It's a rich tapestry here. Made richer by each contribution of concern.
Women sustaining one another in the bond of sisterhood.
May we learn from this experience.
May we be stronger for the journey.
May we be lighter, knowing the community responds to our need.
May we hold hands, laughing in the face of what we can not control -- because we have one another. We are stronger than the unknown. We are stronger, together.
May this day be filled with acceptance. Acceptance & advocacy and the insight to know when to use which set of muscles.
May there be pompoms and feathers and glitter and red ribbons sprinkled along the path, so that we might smile knowingly and in calm delight know that we are cared for.
May we be grateful & acknowledge our unique bonds here, made possible because of this unique time in history that gathers us one to another.
May we say thanks in unison.
May we peel one more layer on the acceptance-onion.
May our dear friend and sister recognize the miracle of this morning.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.

Had to edit the other thread's post, cuz it started a new page. LOL.
For consistency thought I'd add the pictures here, too.
These are reruns from the summer...... Pat's bucket-list RV trip.
The two of us at the marina for sundown:
And here's the picture that we "took-together". Me holding the camera...... Pat being the seagull spotter. As one would come near she would yell: Bird, Bird, Bird!!!! We entertained the others on the pier with our nonsense and laughing.
-
we so need a world filled with nonsense and laughing!
-
What a grand pic. I can just feel my arms around the two of you.
-
Praise the Lord for the good news this morning! God is in control and even the seemingly "bad" news about Saints ruptured spleen - GOD can work all things together for good. He can turn the wrong into right. He knew before it happened that it was going to, and that Saint would come through the surgery with the other good news of organs and fluid removed from lungs..... And He knows the next few days and weeks and years. He alone knows the timing of all events in our lives.
Praying for all - Saint, Saints family, Saints sisters, and Faith - all have such an important role! You are all special to our Heavenly Father! He has promised to be with you....
-
Saint
Great news on the surgery here is some gentle healing hugs for you.

Peace and comfort to Saint this weekend and hope you start really feeling better soon - and are stabilized for years to come!

"May we be grateful & acknowledge our unique bonds here, made possible because of this unique time in history that gathers us one to another." I am, every single day, so grateful for each friend I've made along this journey.
May we say thanks in unison. THANKS!!!!!
I kind of like the miracle idea ... that's the bucket I'm putting my prayers into.
Hugs to you all.
-
Much love.
Many prayers.
Many, many prayers.
Acceptance.
Miracles.
Edited for picture.
It would be a miracle: acceptance.
Brilliance from Saint's medical team.
Support and encouragement to her family-at-large.
