Miracles happen everyday, we only have to see them for what they are. (((((Saint)))))

Dear Saint, saint's sisters, Faith and S4Ss, like my red ribbon blowing in the wind, to anyone else just something discarded, being blown wily nilly across the streets, it rested on a bramble and was caught in the thorns until I came along and saw it for what it was - "A miracle" My own red ribbon I had quoted and beleived for so long sent dancing across the streets to me, my own personal message f hope. Saint is our red ribbon - and she is caught in the brambles uanable to move freely - but it is for a reason - sometimes we feel as if we are struggling with life and really it is a dance of healing. We have to take our steps and the Lord takes His. We just don't see that from our perspective. On this list we are all dancing our steps just as we should and dear Saint - we are dancing for you - so rest and heal and we will take it in turns to dance for you ...
Love Linda

Meant to copy this last night at midnight from other thread. Obviously must have forgotten:
Our national convention finished this afternoon.
Our daughter just placed 3rd in the UofMD Concerto Competition here in WashDC this evening & I was able to be in attendance, hear her play (the oboe) and hear them announce her name & receive congrats, about an hour ago.
I'm safely back to my hotel downtown, from the concert hall.
Thank all the angels in heaven that I successfully navigated DC traffic on my own: back & forth.
I have just retrieved a message from Saint's sister Maura/Mo, that was sent 24 hours ago to me on FB..... if I am interpreting the time diff correctly????
It says that Saint apparently had a difficult time post-op.
Maybe she's posted it here & I just can't find it??
In any case, it would be great to generate yet another round of prayers, healing light, happy memories & stories, Saint jokes, pictures, poems and well wishes.
The most amazing bit of my convention, is that I have picked up a 'hitch-hiker' from home who will ride back to Ohio at dawn with me, help with the driving, and keep me company in my exhaustion. Yet another piece of evidence of how all things work together for good.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.

The power of prayer.
The strength of our sister.
Indominable spirit.
Saint just called me!!!!! We talked for about twenty minutes.
AMAZING. Simply AMAZING!!!!
She got out of bed 7 times today. Walked the hall. Pooped (big miracle) and they had a she pooped party with all the staff.
She's back to her 'special care' unit -- where she is comfortable.
Surgery was 5 hours.
Her surgeon, (who is also a dear friend) is seriously optomistic that he has bought her more "time"..... She needs to let everything unfold one day at a time. Her onc was saying "goodby" just days ago...... So to say that it's been a roller coaster, is hardly in the ballpark of the ups and downs.
She wants to thank everyone for their love & care.
She feels that they have kept her 'overly' medicated. She's has had some wacky dreams/halucinations and has been in a stupor for much of the time since the surgery (Wed) and is just barely feeling strong enough to hold the phone & talk.
Speaking brings on coughing jags. Very painful.
We were mid-sentence when she abruptly was exhausted and needed to hang up.
I had just walked into my own home when she called. I haven't had a chance to "process" all of this news. Ecstatic. Unbelievable.
Days ago we were saying goodby to each other.
As soon as I take off my "reporter-hat" I think I will allow myself to collapse.
Pray on. She is so receptive to everyone's support being the miracle that is keeping her going.
Thank you angels. Thank you Heavenly Compassionate one.
Let us learn about hope. Let us learn about strength. Let us learn about wonder.
Hope. Hope. Hope. Hope. Hope. Hope. Hope. Hope.
HOPE.

Amen

Praise God ! Saint is a true inspiration. God has more for our dear friend to do. As long as there is breath there is hope. Love to you Saint and all you dear sisters.

I got a call from Saints hubby (Greg?). He told me that she is walking about and as soon as the pump is disconnected, she could go home. Hopefully tomorrow or next day. I was a little abrupt, if my hubby called anyone, it would be to tell them im dearly departed. So I was a little edgy. I think I remained polite though. Silly.....
-
Thank you God for this most precious miracle. So happy you are feeling better Saint. Take care and don't forget to rest
Sending gentle hugs your way!!!!! Hugs, love and prayers,
xoxoxo Linda
