    I'm glad to see some of you will be around late monday night because I'm leaning towards staying Monday and Tues night.  If I do your welcome to keep your stuff in my room if you have to leave yours early.  Usually check out is about 11:00am at most hotels.  I might be staying at a different hotel those next 2 night though.  I'll have to check into the cost...

    Boy oh boy this is so hard because I wanted to really spend some time and get to know some of my BC sisters.  After much much prayer I have made the decision not to join you in Vegas.  I won't go into all the details but I feel at peace with that decision.  For some reason, and only God knows why, this just wasn't the right time.  No, the anesthesia has not killed all my brain cells, yet....it was a strong feeling I had for a few weeks.   So if anyone is brave enough to room with Laura, Deborah and Sandy, they have a spot available and my heart is aching as I type that...

    What hotel are you guys staying at?  I live in Vegas.  Maybe I can come down to the strip (or wherever you're all staying) and have a drink or something with you.  Let me know!  :)

    Yes, I will definitely have to come see you guys, esp since I'm now an official member of the TaTa Sisterhood!  I love the Mirage.  It's so peaceful and beautiful there!

    Linda:  I am so sad.  I was so looking forward to meeting you in person.  I was looking forward to hearing your southern accent and getting to know you better.  You were one of the first women I talked to when I first came on bc.org almost a year ago....

    I understand though....I know that when you have a peace about a decision, you go with it....We will keep you with us in our hearts in Vegas!  And for SURE we will see you for the second reunion in 2010!

    I know you guys are excited about the first reunion (and I am excited for you), but I am looking forward to the second reunion (since I can't make it to the first). With my exchange surgery on Sept 15th and my husband just losing his job - the first reunion just wasn't doable. Ta-Ta Sisterhood 2010 - yea!!! Smile

    Linda since you are at peace with your decision, it's the right decision for you.

    Hey I see 2 KC people....Im in Wichita.  We should have a get together up in KC sometime.  I was just up there last weekend, doing some early Christmas shopping.  We stayed at the Raphael Hotel in the Plaza.  It was very nice and we had a wonderful time.

    Hello My Beautiful TA TA Sista's!!!

    Can you believe I'm home already??!!  Gave OHSU a challenge & alot to learn from, baffield many on my condition.  4 different types of infections with no knowledge of how or why I had them-good to know  that I only have to take 1 antibiotic to cure all 4 of them-yipee!!!   The medical staff couldn't believe how quicky I recovered from surgery & was up marathon walking along with some IV pole Dancin  LOL LOL!!  Thank you to all of you for the power prayers!!

    So Sorry to hear some can not make it- Linda, you will be missed,but there will be next year.

    Thanx Jazzy for keeping all up dated Laughing  I'm still going to Vegas! Hubby said not to worry & that we can make it work to go!!!  Did I get lucky or what??!!

    Also... WHO DOES NOT have their hotel reservations made? Who has no one to stay with?:).. I am sooooooooooooooo not a last minute gal..LOL.. just ask Deborah.. I made our hotel Res. the first day allowed....LOL...

    ALSO:... if anyone else is getting to Vegas in the early AM Friday... LET ME OR DAISY6( STEPHANIE) know.... we can wait for you too... I can drink coffee at an airport for a little while if we have too...LOL

    Also.. just a side note.

    We should get eachothers cell phone # in our PM's before we leave.. so we have full contact with eachother in case one of you gets lost...LOL LOL....

    I have a few of yours...but as a mother hen.. I want THEM ALL......roflol...

    I arrive at noon also. I think I am taking sportwareors place in her room. Basically I just plan to show up and hopefully I will be able to "move-in" with someone! (I will be the pitiful one looking lost and for a home in the lobby) I will bring cash to pay my way for 1/2 a bed lol! About 5 years ago, 7 of us went to Vegas and 5 went in 1 room. I volunteered to sleep on the rollaway, and it was so unbelievably comfie...I just bought a little clip-on fan that I hope I can clip on the headboard-I need a breeze blowing on my face-hot flashes stink! Can't wait!

    I just want to sleep as close to the cold air as I can if that means I need to sleep on the floor!

    My dh complains that I flip and flop in the bed at night when I get hot.  I will be the first one to throw off all of the covers and cover the person next to me with my part of the covers. Embarassed

    Maybe we need to put all of the "HOT" ladies in one bedroom?

    Karen - I was going to stick around and wait until FirstMate shows up at 1:30 - we need to meet up with one another.  We can hit the slots in the airport until she arrives!  Or, we can sit at the bar and get ahead of all of the others on our drinking!

    I sleep in one place all night.. on the edge of the bed.. so whoever gets me.. ( Sandy.. Deb..) is a lucky gal...hehe I just hope they like their room cooler than hotter...

    Yes Jancie-I will be ready for a drink. This will be the first time flying for me since "everything" so I am just waiting for the anxiety attack to begin! As far as finding each other, I guess we will be kind of easy to spot since most will be wearing the stylish short and sassy post chemo 'do!

    Karen, I have plenty of valium that you can mix with your drink!  I promise you won't feel a thing Laughing

     I hope I have short and sassy hair by then.  I have 2 months to grow hair before we meet up!!!  

    I remember the airport had several bars.  That would be the time I drove to Vegas to get to Dallas since Denver airport was shut down due to a snow storm 2 days before Christmas.  We stopped in one bar and drank but then the bartender left to go to another bar in the airport so this lady and I followed him to the next bar.  I don't know how I got on that plane, for sure I was 3 sheets to the wind and normally they won't let you board.  Oh yes.....I also signed up for a credit card (unbeknownst to me)  so I could get a free T-shirt and the guy at the table was helping me fill out the form because I was too drunk to write in the lines.  Then 6 months later I got hit with a $60 annual fee and told my hubby "I have no idea how I got this credit card, I didn't apply for a credit card and I never would have a credit card with an annual fee".  I called up the company and sure enough, me wanting that FREE T-shirt and giving my personal information is what got me the card!   Reminder to myself - do not fall for the FREE t-shirts or anything else - nothing is ever free!

    I just hope the hotel will give me that 1 extra pillow I need.. DEBORAH needs like 4..LOL
