Kathi, sorry to read you are still suffering from fatigue. Funny (strange funny) about that because quite often (although generally I feel good) I'm overcome with unexplainable fatigue. Like one minute fine.......and the next, I'm (almost) crawling to bed. It doesn't seem to coincide with having done too much housework. THAT seldom happens to me.
Edit for spelling.......what else is new?
-
Hi Dust buniies!....Haven't done much today...Went for a bike ride, went to a movie (It was District 9, bad movie), walked out in the middle of the movie, took a 2 hour nap, went to Taco Bell and now I am here.......
Kathi so sorry you are still fighting fatigue...I am fighting it too but can't go to the doc with out insurance.....
Linda, Jane and kathi....B9B9B9B9!.........
Sharon I know what you mean about the fatigue but guess what/...It follows us for years I have read........That's ok ..less housework, more naps......
Coonie, Kathleen, Arnie, Faith, and all the 30 more people I have forgotten to mention...I hope you are all having a great weekend!>........See you tomorrow.......
OH BTW...Who was I to send the white booties to?......They have a friend who is adopting a baby and they don't know the sex yet.......Maybe this is why I can't get a job....I have no mind left.....lol
-
Hi dust bunnies did no housework all week. Just got back from a friends cottage did nothing but golf and swim and oh yes drink vino. Today I actually took care of the pool and my kittys litter box. Now I am exhausted. This is what i look like now.
-
Hey best of the bunniest.
I'm home (in Ohio) for another day & they return/fly up north for the last couple weeks of summer.
Hugs to all in need.
Happy, happy, joy, joy to the rest.
Has anyone heard any more from our "mom"??
Was that her farewell post a while back??
Thinkin' of you, mom.
Happy lolly-gagging around to the rest of you post Martha Stewart girlfriends.
Barbe. Just as soon as you are back I need to hear all of the details about the wedding(s) as we are soon to have one of our own!! They have decided on Oct. the 4th -- in like 6 weeks!! So everything will be simple, small, and family oriented. They already have a 'wedding website!' for Pete's sake!
I'm gonna spend tomorrow with the grands, before heading out.
Take care of each other.
((((((((((((((((Jane))))))))))))))))))))edited, cuz I can't spell or type. LOL
-
Barbe you have had the best weather up north this week hope the wedding went just as well. Best wishes.(((HUGS))) this is for MOM as well.
-
I just wanted to put my 2 cents in so I can bring us up to 8000 posts! Whoo Hoo!
-
I have spent the day cleaning my daughters apt kitchen. And I am still not done. I have the pots and pans to do and putting all the other dishes away. I may get to the floor.... and maybe not.... it would just make it so much cleaner.
-
shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
they're sleeping in......................................
-
Are you sure they are asleep?
-
Dream - my goodness! Cleaning someone else's house, too?
-
Heck, cleaning someone else's house isn't allowed is it?
-
Cleaning someone else's house is defnitely not allowed! It should be the other way around - your daughter should be cleaning your home.
My sister was off this weekend and decided to start on the basement. She took all the Christmas village off the shelves, put these canvas covers over them and then applied wheels and then put everything back. It looks something like this:
Now everything is neatly put away and dust-free plus you can wheel them out for a better look.
A reminder ... I just kept her company - I didn't actually do any of the work.
-
Hey Kathleen, so nice to see you. How are you doing? Your sister is so lucky to have had company while she worked.
Gentle hugs to all. And those who actually cleaned...........shame shame.........
P.S. Does anyone have a use for gobs of dog hair?
-
Hey Sharon
Didn't someone have a book on knitting with dog hair
According to the picture this was made from samoyed dog hair
-
Oh my, would that be very itchy?
-
Good morning dust bunnies!......Glad to see everyone ......I truly HAVE to do housework today..My house is a wreck from the weekend cause hubby sure won't clean house......I have never known a lazier person besides my dd......
I agree Sharon.....I think that would be extremely itchy...Especially for people allergic to dogs......
Faith have fun with the grands today!.....Did Duncan get his booties?..........
Dream, shame on your dd !......She knows you are sick and she should be cleaning YOUR apt!.....
Kathleen where can I get one of those gadgets?.....I could just cover everything with those and never have to dust!....lol -
-
hahahahahaha!!!.....Good one Sharon!.....
-
Airport, here I come!!
Hugs and love, encouragement to one and all.
Take good care of each other.
xx00xx00xx00xx
-
have a safe trip Faith!.......Be careful and safe travels.......
-
Good morning all.
Lucy-you get it at the container store, which is one of my sister's favorite stores - that and Chicos, Walmart and Homegoods.
The Christmas Village alone took 3 of them and the halloween village filled one! Last year I put up some of the Halloween village - what a pain! If it was up to me, I would have a permanent display made, under glass - no dusting thank you - and leave it up all year round.
Faith - Have a glorious and safe trip.
Sharon - I have often thought about strapping a broom handle to the dogs and using them as dust mops!
-
Sharo can you do the same with cats?.....I have a very fuzzy kitty and she would make a great duster!...LOL (just kidding for those who take these things too seriously).........
-
-
I LOVE the bottom picture Sharon! That is about as helpful as my cat would be!
-
That cat with the mop-heads on its feet looks P.O.ed!
-
I have one more small bag of sheds done. You can see the top of the desk in a couple of places ! Today is A trip to Walmart to take back a couple of things I thought would work out. I got a pair of scrub pants, with tie waist and LOTS of pockets. They are great and "resist stains" according to the label.
My sister has 7 or 8, I lost count, samoyeds. She could go into business selling sammy clothes. Maybe dog and cat hair makes good insulation. Stuff in the rafters in the attic??? Nah, too much work. And isn't that what this thread is all about -- avoid, postpone, deny doing housework. HUGS, Nancy
-
I don't have dog or cat hair, I have Linda hair. It drives my DH and boys crazy!! m It's everywhere. Oh well, someday I will cut it.
Had consult with Dr today (My A key is broken so sorry for typos). Mammo stil had calcs on them in both breasts, but MRI said they were b9 and I'm all set for 6 months! Yay!!!
BTW, we are in a heatwave now. HOT and HUMID. I might as well move in with Coonie.
Gotta rest, I'm emotionally drained!
Thanks for all your support.
Linda
-
I'm glad to hear your appt. went without any surprises Linda. It's hot here too and must be affecting my brain. I'm reading your post about a consult with the Dr. and a broken A key.......and wondering what the heck is a broken A key. DAHHH!!!
Gentle hugs. AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaa there are some extra a's for you.
Edit for grammar.
-

Linda...YEAH!!!! ((((((((((Hugs sweetie)))))))) How is it going with dh? Any news yet?
A little birdie told me it's Shiny's birthday tomorrow..... where is she anyway !?!
(((((((((((Hugs to all dustbunnies)))))))))))))
-
