Geebung,
No need to correct any typos! We all make mistakes. Sometime I type while on my treadmill. Later I go back and read what I wrote and just laugh!
Best of luck with your diet. I hope it works for you.
Yes, I go to the Cape (Cape Cod) all the time. I live less than an hour away. My family has a summer home there so I am spoiled and always have a place to go. I grew up living there every summer of my life. Now, I spend as much time there as I can. I love it! I'm a beach bum!
Good night friends! Talk to you all tomorrow!
Linda

((((((((((((((((Jule)))))))))))))))))))))))))))), boy you have alot going on right now!
Prayers for your son, hopefully it is not as bad as it seems. Prayers for your friend facing possible MS.
Hello to all, I got my bone scan results all were good. Rads onc thinks pain may be a small hair line fracture in my ribs(since it is only one area on one rib that feels like someone is stabbing me) or he said it could be musclar.
Have a Happy Hump day!!!
-
Great news Mary!
-
Mary, what a relief! Isn't odd when fractures sound good?
-
Yes it is, or even arthritis. It is amazing how your preception changes.

Mary - great news on the hairline fracture - lol.
Jule - UB had a problem with cholesterol drugs - very bad joint pain - I'm betting that is what your problem is. Keep us posted.
Have a great day everyone.

Just a quick hello.
Tomorrow is my mammo day...........always a bit nervous about it....it's early in the morning..then going to visit my cousin who has cancer, and not doing so well, and then to stop in and see Dennis..he doesn't live too far from my cousin.

Hugs to JULE too!

Good Luck tomorrow Lisa!!!!
-
Good Luck Lisa.
I can't believe it was 3 years ago this week I was dx. Time flys.
-
Lisa - LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE the picture (avatar) you are sure a hottie.
Once again a quick hello, boy are my days full now - WOW, but things so far are going well, my house is sure a mess, Ed says not, but I am not sure about that, not a bad mess, just not used to toys and all the baby stuff around 24/7. Found out Amanda will be having a girl at the end of Dec, she had her US Thursday, I like little boy shopping, but I LOVE , little girl shopping.
We all have been dealing with a nasty 24 hour tummy bug, Jaclyns family as well, yesturday was my turn, just completely horrible, but thankfully just a 24/HR thing, SIL is the only one so far to escape it.
Sending LOve to you all, we have had a ton of rain the past 2 days, we sure do need it, even has cooled things down to a chilling 89 degrees - LOL
HAPPY WEEKEND ALL!!!
-
Cathi, we are finally getting some summer weather here, I'm Loving It!!!!!!!!! Glad all is working out for you.
-
Feel better Cathi. Can you pass the bug along to dumb ass??
-
Cathi - sorry to hear you have all been sick. Hope you are all feeling well again now. That's exciting about your in utero grand daughter - you and your girls will have such fun shopping!
Lisa - (love your avatar too - you are beautiful!) - hoping that the mammogram was painless and uneventful and that you were able to bring your cousin some comfort.
Linda - love your avatar too. It's probably not that new any more but it's such a lovely pic.
Love to everyone,
Jane xxxx

I have errands to run, but I am looking forward to some hot rain free weather this weekend. Sad thing is I can not go to the pool as my son has a severe sunburn and was told to stay out of the sun.

Everyone with breast cancer should know the data on vitamin D and its role in breast cancer. take a look at www.vitamind3world.com The site has good summaries of the data and recently launced a micro pill formulation of vitaminD that is very good value
-
Feeling better Cathi? Exciting about your gd to be!! I need to be rich when the grandbabies start coming...I will go nuts buying for them.
Well..mammo was good, and uneventful. Thanks girls! Just 2 quick pics..and radiologist..said..'all good'! See surgeon next week.
Good luck to you Linda...I know it will all go well for you too.
My visit with my cousin...well...how do I say it...it was good that I was there to see him (he is 74) ,but not sure he had any idea I was there. He has bone marrow cancer. Hospice told his wife, he has less than a week. The good thing was..he is not taking any pain meds..he is in NO pain.! He is such a good man, and did so much for his church and just for anyone..very giving. I know God has a very special place waiting for him in heaven.
After seeing George (cousin) I drove over to see Dennis. He looks good, thinner, but good! It was a mixture of feelings seeing him again. He kept repeating over and over, how good I looked, and how glad he was that I was there. He will always have a special place in my heart! He has taken 4 rounds of chemo. Has far to go yet. He is getting scans done this week, to see how much of the tumors have shrunk.
Please keep George and Dennis in your prayer's sisters. Thank you!
Well...only 4 more days till I meet Wayne! We are counting down. We have had some really good, and serious talks about what we will do, if the chemistry and feelings we feel are just as real in person. It will be tough to have a long distance relationshiop, but we will take it one day at a time. I'll keep you updated!
Back to work...love to all my sisters here!
xoxo

One day at a time Lisa, just enjoy! Love the new picture!
-
Thanks Elaine. Yep..one day at a time! Just praying those day's are good! lol...I have such great feelings about this man. I hope I am right this time!
Barbe..where are you ?? Doing ok?
I forgot...Jane..congrats on the weight loss!! Good for you!
I am now dedicated to a better diet. Mine has always been pretty good, but now I am being much more consience about carbs, and just less eating overall. I also started exercising to a dvd called 30 day SHRED! It's from the trainer from "The biggest Looser" tv show...her name is Jillian! She is tough! It has 3 different levels. I am starting at level 1...which is pretty tough. You do this every day for 30 days and are promised to change your body and lose weight too.
I have done it now for 4 days. What I like best about it....IT ONLY TAKES 20 Min!! It incorporates, weights, cardio and abs! It's tough, but when you think...it's only 20 min...you can do it. That along with my running (getting ready for the 5k) I sure better tone up and lose some LBS!!!
My g/f made the dvd for me...so it was free!! I'll keep you updated as to my progress, and if it really does work. I actually feel tighter and firmer already in just 4 days!
back to work!
Lisa

Lisa- so good to hear you are focusing on YOU. We'll keep you on track
with the program.
-
Where is Barb???????????????????
-
Yes where are you Barbe????????? I think she might be away for son's wedding, can't remember $h- t these days.
Lisa good news about the mammo, praying for Dennis and George. My tummy bug has come and gone, poor Ed had it, it left and the last 2 days he has felt horrible, and he is not one to complain about being sick at all, but he is way under the weather. Me I am starting to feel the exhaustion of a 24/7 1 year old and extra mouths to feed, and clean after, it's not so bad, but way more work than I am used to on a constant basis. People are starting to tell me I look tired, I am for sure but didn't think it showed. Oh well must take the up's and downs and the goods and bads when it comes to family.
Anyway the house is emmpty and quite now, Ed is napping guess I will too. For the first time in my life I FELL like a GRANNY -LOL.

Hello ladies. Things are going well here. I go for surgery for the implants on Wednesday, August 19, 2009. I'm a little nervous as this will be the last scheduled surgery. My breasts are not rounded and even but she assures me (PS) she will be able to fix this. I'm not sure whatt happens after this. Tattooing?
Lisa, I love your avatar and the girls are right, you look wonderful. I will keep your cousin and Dennis in my prayers. How are you and the girls doing?
Cathi, welcome to my world with the grandkids living with you and around the clock comkpany. It does wear you out but it is also fun. You may feel like a grandmaw but you definitely don't look like one.
I hope everyone is doing well. Lisa, I'm looking into joining a gym or something because I have at least 50 to 60 pounds to loose. I've gained a lot in the past 4 weeks and I need to get rid of it very quickly.
Hugs to everyone,
Leesa

Leesa it is a diffrent world, and boy sometimes yeah gotta bite your tounge, now mind you things have gone pretty well, but ome of the stuff they should get under control with Landen before the new baby comes - like SLEEPING, I honestly do not know how Amanda expects to rock and walk a 1.5 yr old to sleep every night and breast feed a newborn at the same time, oh well - ROLL with it I guess. Good wishes for a GREAT outcome on Wednesday - XOXOXOXOXOXO

I think that this is the weekend for Barbe's son's wedding. She's even more fun in person than online.
-
girls...I am sooooooooooo dissapointed!! I signed up for the "race for the cure" Susan G. Komen...this Sept. Well...I found out they give some of this hard earned money to the planned parenthood. For those of you out of the states, planned parenthood, funds abortions. I am against abortion, so I was so upset by this. I will continue to finish what I started, but I will no longer do anything for that organization again, unless they take the PP of of their list of supporters!
very saddened!
Lisa
If you would like links to show that they support the PP, I will provide one, and also..the link that shows women who have abortions, have a much higher chance of getting bc. I am sure they will say, that it's for free mammo's..but there are plenty other places out there who give free mammo's and do not do abortions, that Komen could support!
-
Thanks for the info Lisa. I will remember that, I sent in a donation.
I put a new pic up since I can not figure out to put pic in post. Well the angel wings are for my mom, the pink and teal are for breast and ovarian cancer, the red g in the center is for family members that past on. It is a pic I drew, for a tattoo that I want to get. I would either have it done on my ankle or on my leftside just below the collar bone, but above the best.
Have a good day!!!!!
