I'm back. I had to get a haircut and pick up some prescriptions. My hair needed to be cut before I fell and had the shoulder surgery. Now it juyst has to dry naturally as I can only use one hand!
I do feel better just getting my hair done. My shoulder is not going to stop hurting and with the overcompensation because of the diabetic ulcer and now dropped foot on the right, my left leg and hip are killing me! Gosh, getting old is so much fun! Boy, even I am tired of hearing myself complain! Hugs to all.
-
Dream, here's a hint, you can throw away paper plates! No cleaning involved!
I'm off to my neighbors Fish's funeral. He's 7. Yesterday I burried my sons gerbil and of course we had a funeral. I wonder who's pet will die tomorrow. I don't want to go to another pet funeral. We have the sympathy card and flowers.........
-
May Mr. Fish Rest in Peace
My condolences to the Fish and Gerbil families
Bless their hearts!
-
Kathleen, i called you earlier but you were not home.......I will call you soon...So gald you got out and got some pampering..You deserve it......
Rest in peace Mr Fish and gerbil family
!..........
Hi Coonie!...How are you?.......
Have a great night all my dust bunny friends!........
-
Hey Deb.......it's so good to see you post! I've been missing you and hope you're feeling better. We have some other Arimidexers here, so welcome to the club. Very potent little white pill that's for sure!!! Expensive too!!
Sharon, I wouldn't know one herb from another
but I'm waiting to get some in the mail from Canada.....hehe.
Dream---put the dishes DOWN. Do NOT wash another dish this week. You WILL be punished and sent to your room if you wash anymore dishes!!!! You got that??!! LOL Really, like Linda said, use paper plates and paper cups. That's much easier:)
Kathleen, getting your hair done makes you feel better, huh? Sure hope your shoulder and foot start to feel better soon. Shorter hair is less maintenance, so at least that should help some.
Hey Lucy...I'm doing good. How are you doing?
Hey Arnie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You still standing on both legs girl?? No falls? How are you feeling this go round? I sure hope you're ok. I'm praying for you!!! Missing you too!!

Hi Ladies,
Been out of commission the last few days. Actually worked all weekend on getting Porshalins room (sons old room)redone. Tomorrow we go to pick out paint colors. She wants hot pink with a rainbow on one wall. Felicity wants yellow walls with a rainbow and spiderman decals. Trying to get her to change her mind on spiderman. took the girls out of daycare new owners bumped the price $35 and was already paying $235 a week. So have DH sister staying with us this week to watch them. Told her DH we may just keep her. House is clean laundry put away dinner cooked every day. Could get spoiled.
Company big wigs in the office all this week so have been putting in extra time at work. One asked me to bring him coffee this morning and I almost blew my stack but smiled and did it anyway. This afternoon while I was going through miles of reports he came into my office and brought me coffee! Said I looked like I could use a break and he wanted to talk to me about the fact I haven't had a pay raise in two years. Then promptly whipped out his pen and gave me a $2.50 raise!!!! Now what do you think of that!!!!!! Kind of floored me cause my boss always takes credit for everything the rest of us do and she has been letting us think for weeks that our jobs are on the line. He said my cost cutting measures have carried our dept. this quarter and wanted to make sure I was aware of how much we have saved and presented me with a plaque. What???? My boss didn't seem to pleased with all the hoopla.
Well gotta get ready for another long day tomorrow. Hope everyone is doing ok and hugs to all who need it. -
Oh forgot the most important thing. IT IS RAINING HERE!!!!!! Really raining like the ditches have water in them!!!!!!! WHOOOO HOOO!!!!! A true storm with thunder and lightening the whole nine yards!!!!!

I'm glad to read some GOOD NEWS, Coonie, Mary, Faithie, bkc & send hugs & prayers to Jane, Linda, Kathleen & anyone elso who needs 'em.
Don't even ask. I'm sick of talking about fatigue. I bust my little buttsky at work only by winding myself up, but as soon as I get a chance to sit down, all the wind goes out of the sails. If I go out & have fun after work or on a day off, I spend the next day paying for it.
Here's a good link we should all read for the next time some glib, nitwit, ignoramus onc tells us that we wouldn't be so tired if we got more exercise: National Cancer Intitute Fatigue Facts

I did 2 loads of laundry, one plate and bowl (live alone). I convinced the apartment manager to have them shampoo this lousy carpet. It is neutral beige and starting to wear badly in the traffic areas. They looked it up and it is not even on the list, which means it is over 5 years old and they usually replace it after 5 years. I can't be bothered with moving everything and having new installed, since I plan to move in April when my lease is up.
Tomorrow I think I will clean off my desk, the papers almost hide my keyboard. Crank up the shredder and away I go ! Good news, they finally got my Mom on pain management for her torn rotator cuff - tylenol 3 with codeine. She is 96 and I was ready to jump back on the plane and fly back to read them the riot act.
Hugs and blessings for all, Nancy
-
Coonie, believe it or not with my insurance, I only paid $12 for the arimidex..my question is, after doing a search on it, why would it be so valuable to body builders? Seriously, read where these guys pay $7 and up for each pill! Do they like feeling like crud or what?
-
BKC congratulations on the raise girl!!!!!! That's great! At least it makes it more tolerable to go to work everyday, huh? Oh, can't wait to see the rooms after they're painted.....hehe. I love little kids!!
KAKI WAK......I'm so so sorry you're still feeling blah!!! I wish there was something I could to give you some energy. Do you take B-12? Of course, you're in the medical field and would know about all that. Maybe when the season changes to Fall, you'll feel better. I don't know how hot it gets where you are, but the heat drains EVERYTHING out of me. I'm sending you some energy vibes today and hope you get 'em!!
Hey Nancy, it sure sounds like you're doing too much housework!! Don't you just love those shredders. I shred everything.
Deb.....why in the world would body builders want to buy Arimidex?? Do they know it causes joint pain, stiffness, fatigue, GROUCHINESS??!! LOL That's very interesting.....
Safe travels Faithie!!!!!!! I'll be thinking about you while you're teaching, singing and dancing. Oh, btw.....I love you new vest you recently made. I saw it on your blog and it looks great. You're very good at that----------------well, of course!! LOL
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((big bunny hugs to all)))))))))))))))))))))))
(((((((((((((Linda and DH))))))))))))))))))))) Thinking and praying for you both!

bkc, congrats on the raise!.....
KAK, thank you for the info on fatigue!.....I stay so tired all the time and I DO exercise!...it makes me even more tired on some days......
Deb, i don't pay for my Arimidex...My onc gives me enough samples to last til my next visit......Otherwise when I had insurance I was paying almost $50 for it........
To all my other dust bunny pals, hope you all have a great day and I will be back later...Sorry but I must do some housework!......My bad!....... -

Good morning everyone, a tad late. I have been up and on the phone again, checking on Mom. She finally slept thru the night. And today she gets a shower with 2 aids to help her.
The plan was to clean off my desk today, but I need groceries. No milk or even bread for toast... so off to the store I go in a few minutes. Hugs for all, Nancy
-
bks - kudos on a job well done! You must feel great!
-
Arnie,

Hello dust bunnies
Bkc congratulations on the raise, well done you! Glad you bit your tongue and got the man his coffee!
Nancy good news about your Mom. Take it easy on the housework though. I am also a fan of paper plates & cups. I find it very satisfying to just throw them away!
((((((((KAK)))))))) ((((((((Kathleen)))))))) ((((((((Julz)))))))) I hope you are feeling better soon.
Faith have fun on your travels. Safe journey.
Arnie I'm glad you are having an easier time with you chemo this time round.
Coonie how's your walking going? It must be hard in the heat. I went for a walk this morning, I was out about 40 minutes, no problems with the heat here at the moment. I try to walk every day, but some days I don't make it. PatMom I love your idea of walking in the Mall in bad weather!
Jane thinking of you and hope you are doing well.
Linda good luck with your MRI tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you.
Hope all my dust bunny friends are having a good day. xoxoxoxo
