I'm thinking mine is a direct result from always chewing on my rabbit foot key chain (I know, gross) that was dyed bright purple.  That plus a 5-year daily intake of Twinkies and Spagettios between the ages of 8 and 13.  Ah, Chef BoyRDee, what's in that red sauce of yours?

Good morning everyone.  I have read, but not posted here.  I think it HAD to be frozen kool aid popsicles in those nifty holders.  The sugar changed into some cancer causing formula when frozen..  

OR that pure, dark brown Lysol mom used to clean the bathroom. Or cloth diapers with "rubber pants" over top.   Detergents with phosphates, clothes hung outside to air dry, or those heavily starched "girly" dresses mom made me wear, when I was happier in jeans and a tshirt.    

Or those crinolines(sp?) under the skirts to make them stand way out from your legs.  Allowed all manner of germs to go up 'there' LOL.  But, yes, leftyakanancy, I bet the chemicals in the rubber pants leaked and went through the diapers to our very tender skin.  Or, maybe it was the supposedly "pure" Ivory Snow detergent that diapers had to be washed in! 

I think we need some class-action lawsuits going here.

And I always wanted to erase the board.  I think they should have had a warning label on erasers and the chalkboard.  Chalk - oh my - after you wrote on the board you just wiped your hands together, went back to your desk and then went to lunch and ate.  So I was also eating chalk dust after I inhaled it from erasing the board.   So, school was hazardous to my health.

Wasn't Dubble Bubble pink in color?   And those thin sheets of pink gum in packets of baseball cards?  

Did any of you have one of those haircuts with spit curls on the side, where you "pasted" them down with some kind of glue stuff?   It made the hair stick to your face.  I also used scotch tape on my bangs overnight to keep them in place.  Maybe my brain was deprived of blood flow and that caused my BC...!!!

Never had pigtails after first grade and my "curls" got dipped in the ink well of the boy who sat behind me.   Mom had made LONG rag curls in my already naturally curly hair.   She was preggers with my sister and after the ink dipping, she cut it short and that was that.   

How about those chunks of coal or red dog, gravel -  imbedded in our knees and elbows from falls off our bikes?    

omg Dippity Doo!  must have been the Dippity Doo.  Mini Shampoo. And Love's Baby Soft.  Everything I baked in my Easy Bake Oven.  Eating chocolate chip cookie dough... from cut and bake packages in the fridge.... 

Maybe it was the shoes that pinched my toes; then that "stuff" in the little bottle to put on the corns that developed on my toes (got rid of them though!)

Cracker jacks had a plastic toy in them, that must be it

i ate butter cookies while sticking my finger through the hole in the middle and ate around them in a circle...everybody ate them that way right???

 I used to eat the peanutbutter cookies the same way.  Stick my finger in the middle hole and eat all the way around.  Guess that did me in too!
