Let's conduct our own study on how we all got breast cancer

Im a Girl Guide Leader - I ate a lot of smores with burned marshmellows.
-
I think it must have been because I didn't behave myself as a child.Mom always said " If you don't behave yourself you're gonna regret it!"
-
Boy am I regretting it. But didnt the spankings negate the bad deed? Maybe it was the spankings that caused the BC. We were rather spunky kids - right?
-
Hey Dream, I got spanked.......you might be on to something here. Along the same lines as bkc's Mom saying if you don't behave. Well, obviously we didn't behave correctly.
-
Count me in on the spankings. Eating cat food as a child probably did it for me. If cats lived to be 45 they'd get BC too.
I'm not getting it again due to the hot flashes that cause the flash floods I get from every sweet gland in my body that flushes out all past and present carcinogens.
-
Yeah, having girls gives you BC. No, wait, I only have sons too.
-
Nah, they're adopted so that theory blows right up!
-
ljh roflmao- your kids had burnt food every night... hahahahahah man i love this thread.
renee- so that's why they keep saying this humidity and rain is coming from the West coast? It's YOU?
-
is it because I didn't pay my parking fines on time?
-
Nope.........I never got a parking fine.......but did get spanked and ADORED burnt marshmellows.......haven't had one in years but still love burnt toast.
-
........and the mystery of where Patrice is continues. Is anyone in touch with her?
-
Maybe it was the Charlie perfume. I mean, what kind of a name is that for perfume?
Leah
-
Well, it's better than 'Opium' - really, isn't that stuff for snorting or something? But then I guess better on your body than in it! Either case I used it long enough (on my body, not in it!!!!) to give me BC.
-
I stepped on cracks in the sidewalk, on purpose. I knew it wasn't going to hurt my mother's back. Oh no!!!, it hurt me instead.
-
Oh, yes, the perfume called Opium. My mother loved it, and I always got to say, "I'm getting my moithr Opium for Mother's Day".
Not only using it but buying it also must have done it - we both got bc.

-
Lj, I too did the mosquito fog thingy and the barefoot all summer thingy.............mmmmm.
-
Maybe masturbation caused it. Hey, it causes blindness. Wait, I'm not blind. Nevermind then.
-
Blindess and hair on the palm are for men. Women dont do that.
-
reen........LMAO
-
Wasn't it such fun to play in the fog? Gosh, what were we thinking? Apparently not thinking at all I guess.
-
It's Pokey and Gumby's fault! I knew those toys were evil !!
-
LOL, reen.
I had a crush on a boy when I was in the middle school. I never wrote "Mrs. So and So" on my notebook, but I do remember he "broke up" with me when we were in the swimming pool and in the background a Three Dog Night song was playing with the words "One is the lonliest number you'll ever knooooow"... Ah such poetic justice...(sob!)
I probably spent too many days drinking in and floating around chlorine filled pools , not to mention all the insecticide sprayed all over the farms by our houses.
-
Hey, sort of found Patrice, she logged in as recent as June 21st, so she is around. Maybe she will come back if we call her loud enough
((((((PATRICE))))))
Getting back to the perfumes, I have said it before, "Love's Baby Soft" or is that just a Canadian thing?
-
Maybe my Jordache jeans were too tight for so many years??
-
Ha!! Warrior - tight Jordache jeans
Yes ljh58 - That rubber material lasted forever!
I'm wondering now if it wasn't my tin lunchbox in grade school??
-
Hanging glow sticks around my neck at night surely caused my BC.
-
I'm pretty sure it's all my ex-husband's fault. He's quite toxic. I was his second wife, and now I've heard that his first ex-wife (lol) was diagnosed with BC also. All of you should go ahead and blame him.
If not that, it was probably the play dough I ate as a kid. I remember trying the different colors to see if they tasted the same.
-
It's always the ex-husbands fault.
-
On the serious side, I was taking hormone drugs from a young age (had a lot of problems), maybe that caused it?
-
Nope, it was the ex-husbands (all of them!)
