Welcome Nancy!! Now, you had a large group at your house for Easter, right???  Is it all cleaned up already?  Do you have any leftovers that I can feed my family with tonight?  I hope you had a great time with your friends and family!!

Oops...looks like mom2two caught me out driving. Only a short distance I swear!

My drain is GONE!!! And the nurse told me to go back home and rest another week before I try any light exercise. She is the expert after all. Who am I to argue with her?

    Barbe, hope all goes well!

These pictures are cracking me up!

Welcome Nancy -  Coonie Margo is 5Lps now, vet says she will top out at about 6.5,  because of her black and white colors most people think she is a terrier of some sort - but both mom and dad are 100% Chi - but mom is a deer head and dad apple head (he is only 4 pounds), she will never  be ok for the AK, but she is perfect for us.  Hope everyone had a great Easter,

This is Easter at my house (Alexcis & Brandt)

Thanks Barbe, I have to remember how true that is when things get rocky (as they are lately) Enjoy what you have for sure, you only have it for a MOMENT!

Mom -love the picture,  I am still bathing suitless - just can't find something that works (kinda getting me down) if it is a NON-Cupped top -looks like Aunt Tilly who is 99 should be wearing it.  I am kind of tired of being told how "athlethically good" I look.  Oh stop whinning Cathi -  Didnn't I just say I have to remember my blessings.

Someone slap me smart - Cool

I'm going to be on a beach in Punta Cana in just over a month. Not looking forward to my little skirted bottom and flat-topped suit....sigh. Especially in front of my ex's trophy wife!

I had the easiest Easter clean-up of all time...dinner was at my brother and SIL's house! I rinsed a few dishes for the dishwasher and then left right after dissert. My excuse was I had to drive my son home, but really, I was exhausted.

There were about 15 people. I provided the leg of lamb, but my brother cooked it there. I also did red skinned potatoes sauteed in olive oil with garlic and rosemary. There were five desserts and I sampled four of them (bad me). The keylime cheesecake had a day-glo-green topping that made it look very unappetizing. The blueberry pie was the best, imo.

My son took all the leftovers we were given. He's got to feed himself somehow, lol. Lamb, ham, green beens, asparagus, potatoes, orzo rice, sauteed vegetables, yum! I'm making myself hungry.

Deb! You got it wrong. I am going with my DDDDDDDH (love him to death)! It is my ex husband who has the trophy wife. I did leave him and all, but with the 2 weddings,  I'll be seeing her at both. This is the bitch that wouldn't invite me to my own daughter's wedding shower. When we had ours on Friday, we had invited her, but she happened to be busy. Yah, right! I left him 22 years ago, you think I wouldn't care but I can just hear people saying "Oooh lucky Rob, he got rid of the boobless one and got the blond one."

it took me the longest time to figure out the mystery of why you'd all be at the same beach, at the same time..... but i am deducing, that you're all headed to the same spot for the daughter's wedding?? (i am soooooooooo slow. somebody start drawing me pictures, please.)

if i have figured that out correctly, you can breathe a big sigh -- cuz every daughter needs her mom during the wedding festivities, especially so, i'd think for a 'destination wedding.'

you hold all the cards, dear Barb.... a whole fist full of trump cards i'd say.

well.... you gals have really inspired me. i did two loads of laundry today & have it all 'nearly' put away. plus i loaded the dishwasher. golly, strike up the big brass band.

[yes, i realize several of you do 16 times that much before lunch, but i'm a beginner, remember.]

Well, mom's been busy cooking and baking and Mak has probably painted her whole backyard...some of you have picked up clothes and I've done nothing! My two sales today were over the phone, just like yesterday. Oh well, I'll take it.

I'm heading home for dinner in about 15 minutes. I get starved on the hour drive home, but I call my husband when I'm about 15 minutes out so he puts the goods on the barbecue so it's ready when I get home! I'm so lucky.

Yes, a beach wedding. Punta Cana, 5 start resort, I've heard it's the most beautiful beaches in North America. Boy do we need the holiday!

    Macraz. Blueberries.

We are planting blueberries on our farm each year along one of the fence lines.

We bought five gallon bareroot blueberry bushes two years ago and last year we got a ton of the

fattest juiciest wonderful blueberries for at least two months maybe more.

I had blueberries on my cereal each morning. They are pretty fast producing.

They are a great plant and very hardy.

Barbe - you go to those weddings with head held high and smile in everyone's face.  You tell everyone within earshot how wonderful your husband is, how loving, how caring, and how much you are blessed and how absolutely wonderful life is and happy you are.  You get the picture.  It tells your exes' new wife how much better you have it than she does, and you ex what a loser he was compared to your current husband and make them wonder what they're doing wrong that they are not as happy as you.  You're in sales - sell it.  And have the best time ever - enjoy yourself to the hilt and have fun on those beaches.

You are the best and deserve only the best - and the hell with his Barbie doll!
