Thing is Ladies, I pretend to watch the movie but I just sit with my laptop and surf the net. It's like a sickness!
KAK I was just in your site. Love it!
Send your kids over, the more the merrier!!
To Moms little one - you seem nice too!! Come over and watch the movie!!
I hope the Easter Bunny is good to you all!
Goodnight!
-
Thanks Linda, she's thrilled.
Kak just was looking at your photos....gorgeous! Would love to see what you would do with the scenery around here. Sometimes I wish I could capture it on film or in paintings myself but that is just not my area of gifting.

I happened to find a mentor from my church that is going to help me be accountable for my home. I am really happy with it. She was never one that was to good at keeping home together and she worked it out with the Lord and he whole aspect on cleaning is totally different and her home is always so nice. So I am encouraged.

Happy Easter Sunday everyone.
Today is a NON-cleaning day for sure. Anyone eating chocolate for breakfast?
-
Happy Easter everyone!
Just sneaking in a line or 2 before more Easter craft and bake fun with the kids.
I must have done o.k with my "bunny" hunt plan which I prepared last night because..
my boy (with special needs) said, after he'd found all the parcels with his sister
"mummy not wrap it no?, Easter Bunny wrap it yes?! no birds in the house (he's a bit afraid of them), just bunny rabbit, go hop hop hop and put the presents and go back outside, yes?"
Yes, I said. You should have seen his face and eyes light up with the magic of it all! ahhh
(I made a card from the Easter Bunny, carefully changing my handwritting, and put mini examples of the colour coded "parcels" Bunny had hidden in the front room for them. Then my son knew exactly what to look for. His sister helped him find them. She is sooo sweet with him, even though she is younger then him. ahhhhhhhhhhh.(sorry coudn't help telling you all).
Feeling better then yesterday. Thanks for the thaughts. You are such dolls.
Hope you are all having a Peaaaachy Easter. Take care all.
Is Coonie gone now? just not the same without her is it,sigh... "So many Walmarts, so little time.." I hope she got a BIG suitcase for all the fantastic unexpected bargains she will find along her journey "up north"!
xx Shiny
-
Shiny, I'm glad you are having a better day today. Thank you for sharing your Easter story.
Yes, I think Coonie is on the road. I hope she didn't forget to pack her teeth
Gentle hugs.

Happy Easter everyone!
-
WOW 2 Debs from Ohio, we could have some fun here! LOL and ya all don't laugh bout the dog and the teeth...my Daddy when he was alive, had a german shepherd........he laid his teeth on the bar the dog got ahold of them and ate them! At the time it was hilarious, I laughed my rear end off.......
-
Hopefully the teeth passed through unevenfully. I'd be afraid they'd get stuck somewhere?
-
They evidently didn't hurt the dog, he lived for years after that...........my shepherds have ate some things I would have sworn would kill them, like the younger one, he ate the formica windowsill....he steals the firewood from the back and eats it.......strange dog.............
-
Now see if that was my dog it would end up with an expensive trip to the vet.
If my dog eats wood he pukes it up in the night..........always in the night, always inside and ALWAYS on a carpet or in his bed.
-
-
LOL Sharon, I have off white carpet in the family room and computer room.we have an elderly cat, he gets sick alot, and it's ALWAYS on those carpets.........never EVER on the dark living room carpet where it wouldn't stain..........
-
Wishing all a very Happy Easter, safe travels and wonderful family time.

Just got back from Easter services at church. It was packed, and I mean packed. We normally have thousands that attend but today we had a few thousand more than usual. They even opened up the old sanctuary to seat everyone. Then today at 3pm they are having a huge baptism service at a pond on the property, everyones bringing chairs and blankets to sit on and watch. I know they already have a couple hundred people signed up for the baptism but its open to everyone so I expect it will be quite a celebration. I can't wait to go see it but had to pop in and wish you all a happy Easter!
-
What a glorious day, indeed.
I feel like I was in your living room, peeking over your precious ones, Shiny. May I ask about your son? For the last 30 years I have worked in school(s) serving children with special needs, about 10 years full-time and now I travel in and out of sites for kids with a variety of learning styles, challenges and rare opportunities. So I'm drawn to him already. I adore his straightening out how there were no birds involved in the goodies, only one good bunny -- who's already hopped away.
Children keep me young at heart.
Big Easter blessings upon each and all. I treasure getting to know you better. May this day mark an entire new season of peace & goodwill, promise & hope, friendship & encouragement.

I hope Everyone did indeed have a Blessed Easter!
It looks like everyone has there feet up taking it easy.....Or running after the little ones!
-
Here I sit at work, so bored I'm actually finding my eyes closing! I get to leave to go home in about 1/2 hour, 1 hour drive home and THEN I get to put my feet up. What a stupid day to have to work.....sigh.
-
Only ten more minutes to go Barbe, hang in there! (and no sleeping till you get home either!)
-
Doesn't she have the best voice. I miss seeing her on TV and movies. So hope she makes a comeback.
Ok Julz you have to PM me and give me step by step details how you did that link thing to the music video. I'm learning so much here and that is one of the things I really want to learn.
Faith I felt the same way when shiny mentioned her son. Use to work in a home for special needs kids and love them to pieces to this day.
Uh oh, I just heard the in laws arriving. Gotta get downstairs, will peek back in later.
-
Barbe, you have to work today???? Sheesh.......that kind of sucks. Well better than not having a job but........well.......I'm sorry you don't have the day off. Do you get any days off? (Just asking so I know when to try to arrange my next house cleaning posse:)))
-
I'm home! We had Chinese take-out. Yum.
I get Tuesdays and Fridays off. I'll pen you in Sharon.....2010 is free.
-
-
Good! Then come on over and help me with mine!
-
Okay........sure thing friend. On my way.......
-
Ottawa? You should be here in about oh, 4 hours or so.
-
Barb, what is your work that has you going, even on Easter? If you don't mind sharing.
If you do mind sharing, then feel free to make up a story that sounds somewhat plausible.
-
Barbe, love the new photo, looking more beautiful the longer I'm here! Think I saw somewhere you had daughter's shower- what a lovely picture....she'll be a beautiful bride, looking very happy. Mom looking good too; rather dolled up (works for you
