Deb, Sorry to hear about the trouble with your children. No matter how old they get, they are still our kids and we want desperately for everything to be well with them. I have a son that is having a hard time getting on the right path also. When I pray for peace and strength and joy for you, I also pray that your children would open their hearts to the love you and the Lord have for them. Bless your husband for being such a support to you. May you have good sleep and some small joys to encourage you each day. (((Hugs)))
-
Good Evening Deb, my heart goes out to you and your dh. I will also keep your children in my prayers that they will change their ways and return home to you. Tender and Faith thanks for you thoughtful posts, they are very uplifting.
Deb, are the antibiotics kicking in and taking over the infection? I hope so. Keep strong, eat well and get lots of rest. Know I am sending you many (((((HUGS))))) this evening.

AMEN.
Slonedeb..... what a gorgous prayer..... right from your heart to our Creator's compassionate heart. I love what you've written. Thank you for extending yourself in this time of trial to open your heart and prayers for all of us. How generous.
I think this is a brilliant idea, deb..... when you are able, write out your prayer....... what a humbling experience for me to read along as you pray. thank you sweet sister. thank you.
I'll add some of my own to what you've created above.
Dear Compassionate Wonder..... I come to you today on behalf of those here who are suffering, who are in pain, who are confused, who are hurting. Please reach directly into the lives of those who are aching for resolution, for progress, for your love, for understanding, for strength.
We are such infants when it comes to understanding the ways of your merciful hand. We want all here to feel the miraculous wind of miracles to swoop into their bodies -- as a wind on Pentecost.... bringing wellness and wholeness. We ask for a cure. We want to know that we are loved as the little sparrow is loved in your Word.
Please bring your healing hand into our slonedeb's journey. Touching her with your reassurance. Encouraging her with your strength.
Send her signs and wonder.
-
Slonedeb and Faith you are amazing. I will be printing the prayers and saying them nightly. The words are so beautiful.
Have a restful night and a better tommorrow.
(((((HUGS))))), cheryl

slonedeb....... I'm safe in my own, real house for two whole nights!! my daughter picked me up from the airport and I got to squeeze my 3 gorgous grandkiddos. I can't believe everything that the babbeez are doing in the three weeks that I've been away.
I will post the pictures of tonight on my blog. It will take me about an hour to get them there..... but then I want you to go see them: www.rainbowswithinreach.blogspot.com
their mommy (the one who had the tests at the hospital earlier this week) seems to be doing fine.
i prayed in the angel's playground of clouds for you today and kissed these babies for you, too.

Deb I am sorry I haven't posted past few days. Had chemo this week and feel a lil yuck. But hey we battle on. I am sorry for all the trouble and worries you are going thru. Our kids no matter what age can break our heart and also not take any advice we give. But Deb they have a praying mom in you. We will have the desires of our heart. Sometimes we must let those we love hit bottom. My hubby has a sister whose mom always helped her out in all troubles. But when my mom in law passed earlier this year I thought now what will she do. I know we moms always want to fix things but sometimes we have to step back. So Deb keep looking up where your help comes from. Deb I pray you have a good weekend. Sending prayers, love, and hugs to you....
-
Deb, I am always praying for you and just wanted you to know that...even when I am not posting.
Each Sunday at Mass, I offer my prayers for you and all of our bc sisters. I hope today finds you feeling a lil better.
Kbug, I am so sorry to hear about your hubby's niece. I have his family in my prayers, too. I hope you are feeling better today, too.
We live in such a wicked world...at least we can find comfort and safety here a bc.org.
Prayers,love,hugs

VERY long day today, for me slonedeb.... I'm grateful to have work that I enjoy.
thinking of you -- will return to WI tomorrow -- winging thru the angels' park of clouds in the sky.

Hoping and praying all is well with you and your family.
-
slonedeb........ I'm thru the airport security and awaiting my flight. Starting my day thinking of you and wishing you a very peaceful weekend, filled with gentle and encouraging joys, the kind that you remember on a rainy day.
just want you to know how special you are to me, from the very beginning -- of meeting back in the chatroom. you've always been open and honest..... even in the midst of the trials and frustrations of this world. despite whatever setbacks you've encountered, you've continued to fight, continued to pray, continued to think of others well being. what a wonderful example for all of us to remember when the chips are down.
i'm so proud to know you slonedeb..... even if it's just thru the computer.
take good care of yourself. we're supposed to have fireworks to end the day up in WI..... i'm looking forward to that...... they shoot them off over the lake and it's so exhilerating to see all the colors outline the little harbor and all of the boats. it's great to have things to look forward to.
xx00xx00xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
strength and courage sister, strength and courage!!
-
slonedeb, I hope you are having a relaxing and healing weekend.
kbugmom, sorry that the chemo has made you feel yucky (? spelling). I hope you get all the rest and relaxation you need to feel better.
faith, your grand kids are beautiful, I can tell you are very proud of them.
I just found out my best friend tried to committ suicide Thursday night. I will be seeing her this evening. I would like to ask all to keep her in your prayers.
Slonedeb and all, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending (((((HUGS))))) to all and have a happy holiday.

Dearest Deb,My it's like loosing a life rope when I'm away from my friends here without internet access. I missed you all, and particularly missed you Deb. Very saddened by your heartache, and wishing it could be spread around some on my shoulders. Like sue_blue said, our entire parenting life we wish all to be well for those we bore. A labor of love having them, and a labor of life raising them, and such tears of grief for that which we miss in them.My friend, you walk a rough road with such dignity and openness. Our faith waivers in life, with those we love, with our self and our beliefs. Such is human, Deb; I know I share in this too. So, let us all accept both our waiver and our beliefs as much like the many dichotomies in life and move onward.I hope your weekend is going peacefully, and you are resting comfortably. My father is doing so in his nursing home.((Hugs))Tender
-
Dear Deb - what a beautiful awesome prayer!! Thank you so much! Sending you hugs and prayers for a restful weekend. Joann
-
good Sunday mornin' to you slonedeb. i was able to attend church and it seems nearly every aspect of the service i was thinking of you and your journey.....
tender, kbug, moose, Joann, Candie, summer, pansy -- I gain so much from reading your encouraging words to our dear sister. I'm so grateful for your insight and wise words. Thank you.
slonedeb, here's a part of one of the Bible lessons that was read:
"Why is my pain unceasing, my wound incurable, refusing to be healed?............"
This is from the old testament (Jeremiah 15:18), so people have been crying out in their pain for generations...... you/we are in good company.
Here's a portion of the response to this cry:
"If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless, you shall serve as my mouth. I will deliver you and redeem you."
Slonedeb, your prayer above was indeed precious..... you are serving as the 'mouth-of-God' even in your distress. What more would the heavens ask? I believe that you will be delivered and that you will also be redeemed. Trust in the Word.
I will pray that your pain is being controlled by the meds and that you realize how special you are to so many here.

girls you are so dear to me i love each and everyone of you girls i am in bad shape right now my heart is racing and my stomach is killing me i cant stand on my on abd ive lost anothe 4 lbs this week girls is it ever goin to give me a break i just feel so bad and i am getting scared god bless deb from ky
-
Deb praying for a healing balm to be over your pain. Stay strong dear friend. I always keep you in prayer and in my thoughts often. God bless....
-
my dearest deb..... i am so sorry to hear the depth of your fear and pain in your post above. thank you for sharing the 'truth' of your experience with us -- and not sugar coating things. i wish i had something to say, or a magic wand.
in answer to your question: "Is it ever going to give me a break?" i wonder what the answer will be? you have been thru so much. i hear the fear in your post..... you are entitled to every feeling pouring thru your body and into your brain.
i suppose the answer to your question, may possibly be "no" and that you may indeed not get a break while here on this earth of ours. what sorrow that brings me to contemplate on your behalf.
slonedeb, when the pain here is too much i trust you to let go...... let go of us, let go of here and fly directly into heaven -- when you are ready. i hope that you don't think that sounds morbid from me. i don't want you to suffer more than you can bare.
you have taught us so much, and i ask for you to continue to pray here among us..... but if heaven calls: fly sister, fly. know that you have crafted a legacy here among us.

Oh Slonedeb, I am so praying for relief from your pain, and happiness in your heart. We all here love you and are with you is spirit.
-
I love you Deb from KY. I'm so sorry you are going through this. It's just not fair.
Through tears,
Traci
-
slonebeb, all I can say to you at this moment is that I hope you are not in extreme pain. I hope this is not your time. Your prayers and thoughts have been a wonderful inspiration to us all. As Faith has said before me "if heaven calls: fly sister, fly ." Let me tell you those were the hardest six word I have ever typed in my life.
I wish you the best days ahead and the happiest moments you can imagine. Keep strong and keep your faith. I pray that you gain strength each and every moment of your life.
