I fucking hate Gym Jordan and all he represents.

George Clooney is producing a documentary about the sex abuse scandal at Ohio State. It's based in the Sports Illustrated story that came out in October 2020. I believe Gym Jordan was involved with the coverup.

I can't tell you how very, very, very much I agree with this. I find this almost not human, but very evil piece of garbage, a living testament to what you hope you never have to experience more than once in your life. I have encountered people like him before, but they weren't quite as far gone as he. Troublesome, and hard to take but it is the evil vengence that is a part of the Loon that I find horribly disturbing due to the danger.

Ivana Trump, an ex-wife of former President Trump, dies at 73
Ivana Trump, a longtime businessperson and an ex-wife of Donald Trump, has died in her home in New York City, the former President posted on Truth Social.
There was no word on a cause. Ivana Trump is the mother of Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump. She was 73.

Let me guess.......The Grim Reaper picked the wrong Trump?

If this isn’t photoshopped, more proof that MTG is crazy and MAGA is a cult.

Well, the sleasebag of this world and any other is at it again. He can turn any event into one to raise money, and not bat an eye in the endeavor.
Trump Is Fundraising Off Of Ivana Trump's Death
Donald Trump is sending out fundraising emails to his supporters over Ivana Trump's death.

Likely Ruth you are right. I wasn't overly fond of Ivana Trump seeing most of the Trumps, even by marriage, seemed to mainly be ruled by money. I do think though that Ivana was a fairly astute businessperson. She did not need Loon Trump for business. I'm sorry that she has passed. Sounds like she may have fallen down the stairs -- the reason for the fall -- who knows.

She said what I have felt for a long time.

Even though it continues to feel like at less than a snail's pace, there does seem to be activity by Merritt Garland. My impatience is just hoping that this gets accomplished as soon as possible and frankly, it seems like they have some clear cut avenues open. Barbara McQuade thinks he could easily be charged with manslaughter. He knew the people at the Capitol were armed and still waited hours to fix the situation.

Trump Team Formalizes Strategy To Blame Everything On Mark Meadows
Team Trump is desperate enough to have chosen a risky strategy, putting it all on Mark Meadows.

If that is the case, I hope Mark sings like a canary.

Great news, finally! Sing Mark, sing!

So many brilliant and gifted people squander their gifts because they lack the humility of self-understanding. When we think we know it all, we miss the point. When we think we know everything about ourselves, we show our ignorance and our arrogance. The wonder of human beings is that we are constructed in such a way that we can spend our entire lives exploring our inner universe and its connection to the universe as a whole and still barely scratch the surface.
We are a wonder for us to behold. -Anne Wilson Schaef

Count me in as hoping Meadows will decide that he needs to sing loud and clear. He too seems about to learn what his loyalty will get for him. I still can't believe these yo-yo's fall under the spell so throughly. They have to have noticed what he has done to so many others when he said he would show heavy deference to them. The only thing heavy for them now is the pall that hangs over their lives since throwing in with Orange.
If I were Meadows I'd be beating feet so fast to get to the 1/6 committee that the dust wouldn't totally clear for two weeks. It would seem to me to be incredibly stupid to stand up for the Loon now. You lay down with dogs, you get fleas. Surely these people can't be in that much self deception, or can they??? What sort of total marshmallow are you to " take the fall " and allow yourself to be not only possibly runied, but now totally finished. Why would you want that kind of top billing in the history books ?? Guess that is why I see most of th Reps. party as mentally damaged and useless. Most, if not all of them should go and people who can adhere to higher standards and an actual Constitutional oath take their place and restore the party to something that is reasonable and sane and wants to do things right -- BE of and for the people -- ALL people.

Just another thought along the Creepo's way:
-
Sounds true to me -- what is someone in the SS up to.
A little Loon loyalty rearing its ugly head again, eh !!

-
I could not agree more, and while I'm aware that it has to be done carefully so it will stick and he won't sleaze out from under -- I do note that this evil putrid windbag still enjoys all the freedoms ( more in fact ) that I do.
-
-
And the wall doesn't really keep anyone out -- just slows them down a bit.
-
I got the impression from Cassidy Hutchinson testimony that Meadows spent most of his time scrolling through his phone and then jumping up and running into the Oval Office. I doubt he’ll want to play the patsy though. Should be interesting.

I am so disgusted with this guy I can barely see straight. He obviously enjoys HIS sense of power just as much as any old Republican does. Just whey we need to fill as many Senate seats as we can and nullify his 'a-hole ability. I realize we are fortunate to have had a Democratic seat for as long a we have hat it in Virginia, but I'm throughly worn out on this guy and Miss un-super Sinema as well.

Ah yes -- drug induced maybe.

Just lined up outside of Ted Cruz'a office.
The number of kids who have been killed by guns since 2020 could fill 52 school buses. Those buses just visited Ted Cruz.
BY LI COHEN
JULY 15, 2022 / 11:11 AM / CBS NEWS
Fifty-two buses would normally be filled with more than 4,000 laughing and joking children on their way to school. On Thursday, every single one of those seats was empty – representing the 4,368 children who have died from gun violence in the past two years – as the mile-long procession made its way to the downtown office of Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
The convoy of school buses is called the NRA Children's Museum, spearheaded by anti-gun violence advocacy organization Change the Ref.
Along with the eerie silence of killed children, some of the buses also contain exhibits – photos, videos, audio recordings and belongings of those who have been killed. Among the items — a kindergarten graduation card and red woven gloves from Chase Kowalski, who was 7 when he was killed during the Sandy Hook massacre, and the checkered Vans of Gracie Muehlberger, who was 15 when she was shot and killed at school in Santa Clarita, California.
A May report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that firearms were the leading cause of death for children in 2020. The agency found that more than five of every 100,000 kids aged 19 and younger were killed by a gun. Early data from 2021 showed the number was continuing to rise.
In a press release, Change the Ref said that the thousands of tragic endings for children were partly made possible by politicians' actions. They specifically pointed to Texas senators and representatives, who according to nonprofit organization OpenSecrets, have received more than $14 million combined in contributions from gun rights interests.
This "horrific historic moment" is why they showed up to see Cruz in person, Change the Ref co-founder Manuel Oliver said. Oliver's son Joaquin was one of the 17 people killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, in 2018.

— Ugochi Iloka KHOU (@UgochiKHOU) July 14, 2022"This is only the beginning," Oliver said in a statement. "We will not stop with Sen. Ted Cruz. To every politician who has stood by, taken NRA money, and refused to listen to the people they represent: the museum is on the way to honor you next."
As part of the convoy and its mission, Oliver and his wife, Patricia Oliver, also delivered what they called a "gift" to Cruz – a letter from Joaquin.
The letter, dated February 12, 2013 – almost five years to the day before he was killed on Valentine's Day 2018 – is addressed to gun owners.
"Most of you have a problem with the idea of a universal back round [sic] check. Why are you mad that there's a back round [sic] check it's for your own good maybe you are fond of having crazy people with death machines," he wrote, 12 years old at the time.
It wasn't until three weeks ago that President Biden signed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, which enhances background checks for those under 21. The bill, however, does not mandate universal background checks.
"The hope is that this gift will spark a realization and understanding that receiving political donations from the NRA and other gun lobbyists isn't worth an innocent child's life," Change the Ref said in a statement, adding that the group is asking Sen. Cruz to "immediately renounce future political funding from the NRA."
The Olivers posted photos on social media of them outside of Sen. Cruz's office and urged him to read the letter they delivered. Cruz has not made a public statement about the letter, but instead on Friday morning posted a video on Twitter about the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border captioned: "Do Democrats not care about the children being assaulted because of Joe Biden's policies?"
"This chaos, the crime, the misery, the abuse – it is inhumane, it's horrific and it's wrong," he said in the short clip that he said was taken at the Rio Grande Valley.

I think Navarro is playing with a little bit of fire here. Not sure that he has that much of a leg to use. I don't think the DOJ and or police agencies are required to give you the easy way out and notify you of what they are going to do all the time. If you are breaking laws and participating in seditions activites I just don't think you are owed much.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Peter Navarro, a former adviser to then-President Donald Trump, declined an offer by the government to plead guilty to a contempt of Congress charge, the lead federal prosecutor in the case told a judge on Friday.
Last month, Navarro pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor counts of contempt of Congress, after he refused to provide testimony or documents to the U.S. House of Representatives committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack at the Capitol.
At a status hearing on Friday, federal prosecutor Elizabeth Aloi told U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta about the plea offer that Navarro had rejected.
Aloi said the department offered to let him plead guilty to a single count. The deal also would have required him to "comply with the January 6 committee subpoena to the satisfaction of the Justice Department."
Navarro's attorneys on Friday again reiterated their concerns regarding the circumstances surrounding his arrest last month, in which he was taken into custody at Reagan National Airport and hand-cuffed even though he had been in touch with the FBI previously and lives across the street from the FBI's office in Washington, D.C.
"It is curious to me, at a minimum, why the government treated Mr. Navarro's arrest the way it did," Mehta agreed, noting Navarro is not charged with a violent crime.
"It's surprising that self-surrender was not offered as an opportunity."
