I doubt a trump name will be running after this...
-
I hope no Trump will be running after this. Hoping many of them will end up in prison, or decide to leave the country.
Tom Petty's song keeps coming to mind: "The waiting is the hardest part"
And a friend posted this on FB. Since Georgia's senators (both, I think) will be having a run-off, we need to help support these organizations to get the Dem voters in Georgia out again in Jan! These are organizations that I have not heard of.

and this! LOL!!

Who' are the snowflakes now?

Sandy, thanks for the explanation of how the Federal court system operates. I appreciate your insight as it's something I have very little knowledge about. Love your comment that there's no downside to repaying a debt with a well manicured middle finger! Haha! I really see the scenario of Trump resigning and getting pardoned by Pence as a real possibility.

Most definitely, I agree, all the different organization heads who worked tirelessly to turn GA blue: Atkins, Butler, Ufot, Scott, deserve credit and recognition along with Abrams. And here's the comparison between these impressive Georgia vote getters vs the Trumpers. In Georgia, they formed groups that worked together coordinating efforts to methodically, tediously, tirelessly register voters day in and day out for two years. It was hard, non-stop work requiring organizational skills, people skills, pen and paper and computer skills, ect.
The Trumpers did not want to put in effort. What they wanted was to buy Trump flags and jump in their 4 wheel drives and ride around claiming dominance and trying to intimidate people. Their only organization was to get more participants by having someone in their group call the news stations to tell them when the next Trump train planned to drive around. That way the stations could advertise it by acting like it was a news story. Trumpers deceived themselves into believing intimidation tactics, not actual working to get the vote, would reelect Don.

Loved all the memes and entries this morning. I am so hoping that by tonight we have a president-elect. I read several articles that state that some of the news are dragging it out needlessly. I think though he will wait, even Biden may b e a bit frustrated. I definitely think it is time to soothe the nightmare that we have all lived for the past four yrs. If we are a bit anxious who could deny us that after what we have been through. So difficult to watch our government ( mainly the Reps. side ) just blow thru norms and all presidential irregularities and the outright breaking of laws. Loved Ruth's comment about the snowflakes !!
We were forced to have this orange abomination who still can't quite decide why or how so many of the American people voted for someone besides him. Devine, you are so right. No one in the WH wanted to do the work -- all want the credit. I think Trump felt he ( being the soul of righteousness and upstanding qualities and total perfection ) felt all he had to do was wait for what he thought was inevitable -- a 2020 victory. Only someone as deeply un-balanced as he could think that calling people suckers and losers, and dog whistling his way thru black people ( despite the ones who voted for him ) and stranding the Kurds, and so many other huge blunders would think that. He should be the last person to be surprised as should many of those who even now can't quite get the leg over the fence. I'd like to say -- what the heck is wrong with those people. They should be running for the exits, but they like Trump, hung on too long and have no where to go.
I do hope we can pull those two Senate seats over to our side. It would be wonderful since Kamala Harris would be just as Pence was, the one to step in and save thed day. Would also put McConnell on the lower rung ( minority leader ) of the ladder and is something that barring getting rid of him, would be a good consolation prize.
Got to go for now, but I'll be back.

Oh how I believe this -- even if Trump isn't seeing it. Someone should really do that intervention for him. He looks ridiculous in his turtle suit.
-
Jackie, very well said, and I totally agree the networks are dragging out the election coverage—for ratings, of course. If a Democrat is only listening to the tv for election news, they are probably experiencing a lot more anxiety because tv news is acting like there's some cliff hanger. I saw a tv headline this morning “trump narrows biden's lead" or something to that effect. Chuck Todd is acting like there's still so much uncertainty. None of the tv news outlets get down to any of the nitty gritty. It seems they dumb the info down to small sound bites for ratings grabs and to keep people tuning in. I can see why people bash the media.
Speaking of which, tho, Trump does seem he's suffering from those butter knife wounds. At any other time, he would be viciously attacking Anderson Cooper for the obese turtle comment so much that AC would be getting death threats, but I haven't heard any about rebuttal from Trump. It's nice getting a break from hearing him run down people.
