Cowgirl, so sad. Beautiful kitty.
-
-
Cowgirl, so sorry for your loss. Pets do have a way of wrapping us around their paws.
-
cowgirl, she's beautiful. Very sorry for your loss
-
cowgirl13 what a sweetie, looks like she enjoyed her window watching! Sorry for the pain of losing her, I'm sure she knew she was loved.
-
Thank you all for your kind words. It really helps and I don't feel so alone.
-
Cowgirl, sending you hugs.
-
Oh Cowgirl13 you are so not alone. We are all nutty about our kitties and love them so very much. My 20 y/o cat Chloe died a year ago and as sappy as this sounds, I still miss her. She was with me before I started dating my husband. So yes, that big cat sized hole in your heart is real.
-
Cowgirl13 - So sorry for the loss of your dear cat. Her pics reflect such elegance. I still miss every cat I have ever had, starting with my first cat who came into my life more than 60 yrs ago!
-
Amen Celia. So true. Just as you would any loved family member.
-
Not sure who watches the show Outlander, but here is a pic of the kitten named Adso that the character Jamie (also in pic) brought home to his wife Claire. My DH once brought a lovely kitten who looked just like Adso home and we named him Smoky.
-
CeliaC, cute kitten. LOL
-
A friend sent me this shirt today out of the blue!
-
Celia - cute kitten. Really cute kitten carrier lol
-
DebAL, Love the shirt. I want one.
-
Rah2464 - My thoughts, exactly. DH was my kitten carrier, and although I love him, not quite on the same order as the one in the pic.
-
Love the tee shirt, what a great gift!
-
Adso looks like my DH's (before he met me) first stray cat. When we married, I grew fond of him (the cat, LOL). He lived to nearly 22...and he is my screen name...Wally.
I'm sorry about your loss of Kiscka (sp?). What a beauty! Maine coon?? I lost two (brother/sister) within 6 months of each other --and it is 3 years now and I still lament the loss.
-
wallycat, I have always loved the cat in your picture! And I've been on this board since 2009). How wonderful Wally lived for 22 years. I do think Kiska was part Maine Coon, actually a lot of Maine Coon. How fun to have had a brother/sister but so painful a loss.
-
I, too, have a Wally cat (actually he's Sir Walter Raleigh Kitty Cat and his litter mate is Sir Edmund Hillary Kitty Cat but we call him Eddie or Fattie). Wally is a character--maybe that's how we know to name them Wally? Their personalities? My Wally is 13 and finally mellowing a bit but boy it took over a decade for that to happen.
-
Hi, Cat ladies. One of my neighbors rescued a cute little Tortie kitten. She is about 8 weeks old. So sweet.
-
My avatar is Bandita-cat. SHe is one of the gone ones. Sigh.
-
Good morning, cat lovers. Midnight Louie has a new game. He sneaks up on Miss Felix, gets as close as he can before she gives eye contact. Then he hides and comes at her from a different angle.

-
Love the pics!
-
Miss Felix looks like she isn't very impressed with Louies new game. Too cute!
-
Rah2464, Miss Felix hates him, but she has reached the point of ignoring him.
-
Good morning, Cat Lovers. This morning I awoke to the sound of hairballs and had 2 large ones to clean up. Yuck. It was Miss Felix. Both cats have gone back to sleep, along with husband.
-
My runt calico of unknown age (vet guesses between 2-10 years old) seems to be skinnier even though she was only 8 pounds to start with. She is acting fine, maybe even more briskly! I'm hitting the gym, maybe she is to? Ha! I'm having a glass (or three) of wine - cheers to the many mysteries of these precious, goofy, and very loved, felines!
-
Together what a sweet girl! Love that little tongue sticking out. On the weight loss, maybe have her checked for diabetes or thyroid issue? Diabetes can be pretty common as kitties age.
