Sandy, I'm sorry to hear of Gordy's troupe having to move on. Money hungry jerks!

FireCracker, prayers for Lauren's biopsy. Please keep us posted! We are all in her pocket with you!
Iris, wow, that's pretty high! I know you already do but please keep an eye on your BP for all of us.
Healing hugs to All 🤗🤗

This is how my youngest GS JJ (7mos) fell asleep last night. I just want to pick him up and kiss and hug him and tell him what a silly Lil Man he is! 😊
DD left him just long enough to snap a few pictures. JJ is going to be silly just like his big brother Jayce!
This is Jayce (4) JJ (7 mos) and Olivia (2.5) They are all silly tykes!

Adorable.
-
Lori, Beautiful! Warms my heart.
Molly, Hugs, love and prayers.
We spent another day with my son, Matthew, helping him with his Eagle Project. It's still not completed. We are going back tomorrow at 7am to work on it. It's taking forever. Hitting lots of bumps along the way. My DH and I have matinee tickets to a play tomorrow; so much for our date.
-
Lori, your grandchildren are adorable.

Been in the dumps/bottom of the pit for this whole year.....my Mom dying, KILLER flu that lasted the entire month of Jan. even though I had a flu shot the previous early September, Belle my first show dog dying at 14 years old, 5 days later I receive Mom's will....left NOTHING for me, or her only 2 grandchildren (my kids) but only for both my sisters, neither married, (I am thinking of contesting will)......since Belle's death her son, Drummer who will be 12 in August has been ill and howling for his "mama" he has a broken heart, and is getting skinny.
I had my 6 month follow up MRI on Thursday, My oncologist called me 6:30PM on Friday and my internal mammary lymph node .9 CM on right side is STILL behind my manubrium (top sternum bone)...no change in size, but now I have THREE lymph nodes in the axillary of my Left breast (the one where the primary cancer WAS located) sizes: .7CM, .9CM, and 1 CM....that I will have to have ultrasound done and who knows what! ( sentinel node was clear when I had BMX)....he got me in to see him on Monday morning because I am also having a thickening under my right arm......CRAZY TOWN is hitting me hard!
Hugs to you Molly....hope Wyatt seizures are letting up....sending love to your entire family!
Lori...too cute grandkids!!
Hugs to all....

Di, I am so sorry things have been so tough. Thank you for letting us know. Sending hugs.
Iris - hope you get that tummy better.
Molly - hope Wyatt's seizures are calming down some.
Mommy - thanks for the hugs each day. I am putting mine to good use.
To everyone I once again have missed, I do love you all. I have a limited hard drive in my noggin these days.
Still have not found a house. Grateful for the camper. Our neighbors, whom we have the harassment injunction against, once again did something caught on camera. Makes me wish we had zoom capability, so we could prove once and for all it is them. Knowing and proving are not the same. We are out of the house Friday...last Wednesday a different neighbor's son told us our harassershave bought cameras just to watch us. I am guessing he heard it from their 10 year old daughter as everyone walked home from school. Sure enough there are what appear web/nanny cams in blinds of 2 windows. Friday cannot arrive soon enough

Yw Robin.

Di, in your pocket for u/s and sorry it hasn't been a better time for you. In your pocket for the tummy stuff also, Iris... and Robin, hope you find a house soon!
As for me, all is well: I am all packed, under my luggage weight limit (which was a challenge to achieve), have an auto reply on my email at work, and tomorrow at this time I will be checking in for my flights to Brisbane, Australia where I will visit Lucy55 before heading off to Papua New Guinea. Pics to follow! I am so excited! And even more excited that when I get back in a month....retirement will be only a week a way! WooHoo!.

Octo, how exciting! (P.S.—you might want to get a little pocket bag scale, so that worse comes to worst you can shift overweight items to your carry-ons). Pictures, please—including you & Lucy. Molly, hoping Wyatt's seizures are easing. Di, the hits just keep on coming, don't they? Not gonna give legal advice here (let my WA license lapse when I realized IL would be my permanent home), except to say there needs to be a better reason than discontent over the outcome to contest a will. Not only would you have to allege that you and your kids are just as much “the natural objects of" your Mom's “bounty” as are your sisters, but that there were facts that would lead to suspicion of coercion, fraud and "lack of testamentary capacity" (being mentally incompetent to decide how to dispose of one's estate). Do you really want to open that can of worms, go down that road, or (insert cliché metaphor here)? Robin, hope you can find a house and some “quiet enjoyment" of it. (Sorry, can't seem to stop speaking legalese today). Iris, hope your tummy calms down, or that your docs can find a way to make it do so.
-
Octo ...Woot Woot ..I'm SO excited ..😃
-
Hugs to all who need them.
-
i spoke to my primary doc about tummy and we sort of agreed it is related to my brain surgery as after that i went to my urologist as my bladder was wierder than before, she ran tests and said my nerves in my vagina area are messed up and i am not emptying my bladder. Sort of think that is likely but will be talking to onco on thursday and do have appointment with a tummy doc in another couple weeks
She also gave me a script for zanex as my bp is through the roof at cancer appts and i am sure it is nerves
-
((hugs)) Iris.
Octogirl, I'm so happy for you! Enjoy!
Lucy, Happy for you, too! Enjoy your visit with Octogirl!
Di, Wow! That's a lot to have to face within a few, short months. ((Hugs))
Molly, Prayers for Wyatt and your entire family.
Robin, Hope you find a house soon. You deserve some peace.
Mommy, Thanks for all of the hugs!
-
Proud: ugh, the side effects we get!
Momoftwo: thanks for the hugs
-
Big big hugs and prayers, Di. Octogirl and Lucy, I look forward to pictures. Iris, cut back on anything acidic especially citrus and coffee and tea to see if it helps your irritated bladder. Also try pretending to blow through a straw at the end of your void to help empty your bladder. Robin, good grief how sick are those people?! Wyatt's been a little better since yesterday. I will take whatever good days we can get. Thanks for the hug, M0mmy.
-
Hugs, prayers and healing thoughts to all in need. Looking forward to Octo & Lucy pictures - bon voyage!
-
Iris, that good ol’ “Vitamin X” can do wonders for anxiety. (Shorter half-life than Ativan, so no “hangover”).

ok, all, as I wait to board my flight, here is a funny story that I hope will bring a bit of a chuckle: hubby dropped me off at LAX, and as soon as I got my bags checked I realized that the overfilled daypack I brought as a carryon was not going to work for trudging through airports: just too heavy and hard on my knees and back...but I had left my roller carry on bag at home because it is both heavy and bulky, and I am under serious weight restrictions on my flights to Papua New Guinea...not to mention on a boat for a week of my vacation, and space on the boat is tight...
but LAX has lots of shops, so I started looking for a roller carry on. other than Gucci, which it should go without saying is WAAYYY out of my price range, I couldn't find anything. Until I got to Victoria's Secret, which had the perfect one in a window display. Go figure. So I bought it. Then as soon as I was out of the shop I realized I had paid with a card on a joint account with hubby: and if he happened to check the activity he'd see a charge at Victoria's Secret at LAX not 45 minutes after he dropped me off for a vacation without him on the other side of the world!! So I immediately texted him to explain it was a carry on bag...and got back a text saying: "sure it was......enjoy the sexy underwear" :-)
oh well, whether he believes me or not, Lucy can admire my VS carry on: even though I promise I am not the type to normally buy anything there!!!
Hugs to all!
Octogirl
