I'm attending Zumba enough that when I wake up at night, I have a Zumba soundtrack in my head.
I got one girl, I got two wheels
She a big girl, that ain't a big deal
I like a big girl, I like 'em sassy
Going down the backstreet listening to Blackstreet
Running around the whole town
Neighbors yelling at me like, "You need to slow down"
"Going thirty-eight, Dan, chill the **** out
Mow your damn lawn and sit the hell down"
Good times.

11/5: Fitbit steps + Zumba = 6.5 miles + stretches + 25 modified military presses + 50 crunches + 25 dead bugs
-
Ka- now that song is in MY head. Thanks!
-
I'm packing up my woolies and heading lakeside - bringing the dog so I should get lots of walks in. It's down to the 30s at night - brrrrrr.
-
13.5 mile ride, 620 calories burned, 1,000 feet of climbing. Although rides during the week are shorter because of darkness, at least I'm still getting them in.
-
Well I was very lucky to have business near the beach again today (Jack and I had two Furry Friends visits) so I took another walk on the beach. It was an even more spectacular day. But I walked farther and Jack ran faster when we were with our friends. But it was still more than usual and I felt pretty good. Walking in the sand is flat, but because it is sand, and is hard to walk in, maybe it makes up for no hills. Planning to keep this up. I have strung several days together again. Woohoo!!!
-
Glad you got more beach time, Katy!
11/6: Fitbit steps + .25 hr elliptical (4.0 avg) + .5 hr T (3.0 avg) = 4.25 miles + 25 modified military presses + 100 bicep curls + 20 reclined triceps extension + 150 crunches + 50 dead bugs + 60 sec full yoga plank + 15# lifts [10x3] + 15# squats [10x1]

I've been bad about posting. Last weekend I went for a 25 bike ride with my girls. I thought about you, Theresa! Today I ran the fastest 5 k I have in over a year!!!!!! There is life after chemo and rads! It's so nice to have hemoglobin again
-
Karen- well done! You are rockin' the hemoglobin!
-
Fantastic Karen! I totally need to get my bike fixed.
-
27.1 mile ride today along the coast, so beautiful this morning. And Garth Brooks concert tonight! Four of us are going, me, my friends Cheryl and Pam, and my daughter Jeanna. We rented a limo, doing it in style! Just gotta get those cowboy boots polished!
-
This song. For all ya all lol
-
More or less this tonight, I think: Thai coconut curry butternut squash soup. Ducks vs. Bears = I had better cook, because my wife will be preoccupied.
-
Oh yeah littleblue, love that song. Can't wait to see his ass in tight jeans lol. Nobody rocks tight jeans better than a country boy!
Gonna break out some alcohol for the first time. Hope I don't disgrace myself! Or maybe I hope I will, you never know
-
that soup sounds like heaven in a bowl
Speaking of food, I just watched Episode 2 of the new series (Netflix) called Chef's Table.
The subject was Dan Barber, who has become a leader in the sustainable food movement, something that a few years ago I wouldn't have even heard. I would have just seen mouths moving.
But this was very inspirational and beautiful, physically and ethically. So positive.
Yeah. I cried during a cooking show. WTF?
-
Blame it on the tamoxifen!
-
ya think???
