Sounds like everyone's doing OK! I'm tuckered out tonight - Our son got the key to his new condo yesterday, so tonight after work we all went over to do some cleaning before he moves in this weekend. So exciting for him to be getting his own place. I'm heading to bed. Glad I only work a 1/2 day tomorrow!
-
Mags- I agree with you about it not being over. I think all the coverage on the terrible things happening with the ISIS terrorist group has everyone on edge again.
What does everyone have going on this weekend?
-
Good Morning Hermmies
I hope u all rested well---I am planning on resting today mostly cuz tomorrow One of the gals from one of the other threads is coming to visit me--Wott Woot-she always so sweet and known her for a while--she's from AZ but visiting her mom in MI so I'm so excited--I'm no barrel of fun so I hope it's good for her too--just more like a barrel.
It is cold out right now in the 40's WTF all of a sudden.
Well I hope everyone has a great day.

Cami- one of my friends in Wyoming reported this morning it is snowing there this am. Same in the Dakotas per the news. Winter coming very soon it seems.
I am glad you are having a nice time with your outings! Rest well today and party on my friend!
-
Monis, that cat's expression is wonderful. Best wishes to your son on his new home.
Jazzy, glad your promo and presentation went well ... I figured it would as you are an interesting person.
Cami, hope the phones cooperate so that you can rest today.
-
Sally- thank your for the kind words.
Personal training session #3 completed today and made it through my first week of training (5 weeks to follow). It is getting easier, and learning a lot of good things along the way.
Onward to some things here at the house and getting ready for a smallish yard sale tomorrow. Time to get the excess out of here!
-
-
Teka- I saw this about GC making a guest appearance on Dowton Abbey and thought you would be interested!
-
Jazzy, nice surprise to kickoff the weekend.
Thank You!!
-
Hope everyone had a good day. I am getting up early to do a little yard sale for a few hours to lighten my load.
A shot of the harvest moon by someone else here in NM. Looks like the moon, she is a smokin'.....

We'll be driving back and forth with pickup truck loads of stuff, helping our son move this weekend. He's been hauling some boxes of stuff in his car for the past couple of days, but the big stuff like couch, tv, bed, etc. will need a bigger vehicle and bigger crew to move. Will be working on my arm muscles!
-
Monis, good luck with the move. Be sure to rest when you are done
Onco- have fun at the shoot fundraiser!
Me, I am out in to the yard sae this morning as the sun comes up. It is nippy out there this morning, pulling out the fleece jacket this am! Fall is here!

-
Cami, in for a fun time!
-
Jazzy, that rooster brought out a laugh. Thanks. I walked earlier today, and the crisp air encouraged me to go a tad further.
Cami, have a good visit with your cyber friends.
Monis, be careful hauling things today.
-
I sat out for about 3.5 hours and sold a few things, and made $26.50! Sold most of it to a neighbor whom I know, and whom was quite a chatty fellow today. Now the religious types are parked in the neighborhood and circling around, and I decide I was done for the day. It is nippy here this morning!
Cami- are the friends coming to visit BCO friends? I hope you are a great time!
Sally- enjoy your company today. Sounds like it is nippy there too?
Monis- ditto on the lifting and hauling.
Hope everyone else has a good day!
-
-
Jazzy, no company for me today but a party tonight at DS's house.
-
Sally- whoops, sorry I did not read that right before.
-
*Hermits*
I'll be spending the evening just reclining and watching TV.
-
Hi Teka- jazzy had a busy day and is relaxing and watching HBO tonight.
-
Moved lots of stuff today, will do more tomorrow. Luckily, I didn't have to help with any of the real heavy stuff - hubby and son managed on their own. Need to get to bed now, it's already waaaaay past my bedtime. We were all feeling pretty tuckered out from all the moving.
-
hello hermies! I've been off thread for a while, due to some side effects but I am so much better now. I saw my onco on Friday. Learned that my surgery will be in early December for a bmx, so I am posting on that related thread.
Anyway glad to see you've all been busy I've been enjoying the pics and the posts this morning! I've been getting out of the house lately but will be back to my hermit ways on Friday as I have my next chemo. Today a great friend is taking me to the mall so I can walk in the air conditioning is it still warm in Sarasota. I really need to get some Cashmere beanies for my bald head so I hope I can find some.
good news my unemployment was approved, woohoo! This week I feel like a normal human being --what a blessing. Going to enjoy it while lasts. Have a beautiful Sunday all!
-
Bippy- good to hear from you and glad you are doing better and also have a date for your surgery in a few months. It will help you to better prepare. And glad your unemployment was approved too. It sounds like life got a little bit better, or at least do-able this week.
Good luck at the mall and hope you find something comfortable for your head. You will be a fashionista in your cashmere.
-
-
Jazzy, I'll do my best.
Bippy, support threads do help through all the BC crap.
Monis, rest up!
Sally and Cami, exhausted from fun time?

i have always wanted dreadlocks! Hahaha maybe my inner rastafarian will emerge now as my onco told me that "i did not tell you this, but if you know someone that can give you some good weed, it is the best for nausea!". Love her! PS. I quit smoking it years ago, ironic huh
. smoke em if you got em girls.

Jazzy is doing a bit of cooking today. Making something in the crock pot called Yankee Doodle Chicken Noodle soup from a mix my cousin gave me last year when she was visiting. I am adding a few things to it to make it "new mexico style" by adding some green chili. Also bought the fixings to make some green chili stew this week too. As the weather cools down, I like to make things in the crock pot on Sunday afternoons.
