Time for some photos. A sunset for you over the pond in RI.
-
This swan was swimming around the lake the first night we were there.
-
Mother and baby ducklings on the pond. We spotted them on the shore near the dock one morning and then they were on their way quickly (there was a woodchuck around and my guess, they were at risk....)
-
Lovely Swan!!
-
Sachem Head in CT.
-
Ducklings!
Wait Mom!!
-
Jazzy, what lovely photos! You do have a gift of getting good shots. Love the swan best I think.
I know, I'll have my own follow ups but it was just the thought of trying to squeeze my little booblets in between those plates sent my imagination soaring. You can excuse that perhaps? I hope so. (I think my BS misunderstood my resolve to be flat because she left flaps hanging – in case I wanted reconstruction later, maybe.)
New concept: cancer in the trunk. What else?
-
And finally for today, a white heron spotted in the marshes at Sachem's Head.
-
Mags,
Don't forget to shoot holes in the trunk, after the cancer is inside!
-
doing ok....can't sleep and wondering ifd it is the percocets keeping me up, gonna take another kind of pain pill today...I have a question for all you cat people I have a female almost a year old and want to get another one, should i get a male or female?

More health news, got my held mail today and blood work from recent physical pretty good. My AIC up slightly to 6.0 but not in diabetic zone. I need to pay more attention to the carbs and get that down again. I am pleased with the good results today I am hearing. But have more work to do.
My next challenge is to loose weight (sigh....)
Blondie- wondering if a female kitten would do better? Sometimes they are jealous, some times they mother them, hard to know.

Hi everyone----
Jazzy glad everythings looks good and it's done for today and BTW u take absolutely gorgeous photos like a professional really. U could enlarge and frame some really.
I have no boobs either but this month I'm dr. free, usually not so it's good for me. That means I'm in a good place nothing has changed Whoot Whoot.
My SIL in in ER again, they'll be home soon now--2nd time in 5 weeks--this time they found a bakers cyst, when my DD told me I said Oh I know what that is and explained it and she repeated to my SIL wow she knows all this stuff. Yeah right someone on one of my thread just told us about it. I learn ezsxverthing from u guys who seem to get everything. But of course I can't remember who cuz we only talked about it once--
-
Teka- I love that cat photo!
Cami- I am sorry about your SIL being in the ER. I am not sure what a baker's cyst, is but will google it and learn more.
Thank you for the compliments. I used to do a lot more with my photography years ago, won some awards for photos too. I am often so pleased when I find something really nice in a series I shoot!
-
Cami, I have a baker's cyst too. I used to get those injections that plump up the cartilage until I developed the cyst behind my worse knee and realized that the injections were giving me enough motion back that I overworked it, causing me the cyst so I stopped getting the injections. Now my only option if I want to get mobile again would be a knee replacement in both knees, but I've had too much surgery already so just resisting that solution.
I'm having a SE that I had last chemo but didn't really connect to it until now. It could be the steroids, the nurse said when I went in for shot today. My bladder muscles aren't working. I have no sense of pressure but I stand up and leak. I cough and leak. I sneeze and leak. And not just drops. Running down the leg leaking. It only lasted a couple days, so I've gone to heavy duty pads. Just annoying.
Blondie, I agree, a kitten is best, and I'd do a female because I've had a male and though he was a great cat, he did occasionally "mark". Of course, my Schnoodle, Rose, still "marks" and she has no excuse (although her dad says it's because she's confused because Mommy smells funny and has no hair). But it's gotten bad the past few weeks, so dad may be right.

There are some amazing shots of the lightening here in town last night. Check this out!

Moo back. Good for robin babies.
-
Onco- I hope the PT is helping your achilles. Are you seeing progress? Feeling better?
Baby robins so cute. Can you get any pics of them or too far away to snap a good photo?
Mags- I hope you are doing okay so far post chemo #2.
-
Nausea mostly today, ate some Cream of Wheat (too sweet) and half a baked potato (better). But it's an early night tonight, crashing after steroids wear off.
-
How about this kitten?
-
Mags, have a restful sleep!
-
Teka, that kitten is so tiny ... and cute.
Mags .... wishing you sweet dreams.
-
Mags- sorry to hear you are feeling the SEs again. I hope you can rest well tonight.
Teka- what a teeny little kitten. Cute though.
Sally- Are you having hot temps out in NV?
Went to yoga tonight. Lower back still bothering me some but it does feel better after yoga. Tomorrow we go see the BS for the 2nd part of the follow up. Hopefully she will be good with the mammo results, check me out via exam and send me on my way. Will let you know how that all goes.
Sleep well hermits!
-
Jazzy,
Tomorrow, excellent results!
