Lily55,
I thought a little "Mark Twain" in prior post would help with whatever!
I'm better with cats!
-
Teka ...I liked your Mark Twain.
-
Ph Great my kids went pit and Joey went to my other DD's house and I have our big furbaby at my feet crying. Geeze I always feel so bad, I pet him, I love him and he still cries--it/s mostly for my DD. awwww, but my Katie-Kat just stays by me giving him a look.like lay down, don't be such a baby. the 2 re so funny together.
-
I have 3 cats. Yes I said 3. FYI, you have to have at least for to be a crazy cat lady
While I was recovering from my mastectomy, I would walk with my parents everyday when they walked their dog. I would open my front door and the dog would come right in looking for my cats. One of my cats would walk up in front off the dog and roll over on her back. Then she would rub her face all over the dog's leash. Of course the dog wanted nothing to do with her. The dog seemed to only be interested in the other two cats who were staring at her from a distance and hissing.

dutchiris, cute cat/dog story. I love hearing about how animals interact.

Hi hermits- I am not sure what is happening, but is sounds like some are needing to step away. I honor and respect anyone's decision to come and go as they need to. Thanks for being here with us and please come back if it fits in the future.
I am wishing everyone here a peaceful heart, good health and many years ahead of joyful times with loved ones.
-
Jazzy OK this is Friday so please relax and enjoy u'r weekend.
-
Good Morning!!
Lily, doing okay?
-
Good morning hermits!
A busy week but some good things as part of it. I started my writing class on Tuesday and think it is going to be very good. I am going to write a story about a coal miner in PA during the depression years, based on a story about my grandfather that my father told me. The class includes about 12 people of diverse backgrounds, and we share our stories with each other at the end of the class. I have some writing to do this weekend!
Also went back to my fav yoga class on Wednesday!
I have to go get some blood work done this morning and a few other things today, but plan to keep my day simple with some exercise thrown in.
Hoping everyone here has a good weekend.
-
It was one year ago today that I received my biopsy results.
-
Fond Memories!!
-
Jazzygirl,
I believe, half the process is knowing what to write!
-
Dutchiris- thinking of you today. The anniversaries of finding out are not easy days to get through.
Teka- yes for sure! My writing teacher is helping me to take experiences and spin them into a short story.
How is everyone else doing today?

I don't having a really good memory. I joined her and posted my stats. So I see it all the time on here.
-
Lily,
Daughter & BF came for the afternoon and spoiled Teka.
I hope you're feeling less pain?
-
Jazzy, hope your blood work is okay. It sounds like you have some writing homework ... how did it go?
Hi CCFW, dutchiris. and Cami.
Lily, did you and the dog take a walk?
Teka, hope you enjoyed your visitors. DD and her husband visited today. I always enjoy the energy that the "kids" (50 and 51) bring.
On my walk today, the cutest little boy of about 5 was driving his battery operated vehicle near where I was walking on the sidewalk. When he got it stuck, he looked at me with big eyes and a curious look and said, "I'm stuck." His dad was there to help, but he was so cute and soooo not concerned although he was confused that he was stuck. Joyful kids light up my day.
-
Teka- spoiled you Teka or cat Teka?
I was out and about today, home tonight working on the house and getting ready to work on my tax planner for my accountant.
Skittle- I was thinking about you and your feet today. I still have times with mine where they are stiff (although they are better since I went off and on the anastrozole). Sketchers shoes seem to really help my feet feel good. I found another pair of slip on today at a local fitness store and bought them. Sort of a heather grey, will be good for spring.
How was everybody's day?
-
You wrote the magic word, spring!
-
About six weeks to daylight savings, 8 weeks to spring.
