It's in the area where the mops and cleaning supplies are,,, at least in the one by me. Good luck. Hope it helps. When my old dog used to pee on the carpet,,, it really helped with that urine smell.

Sorry rosie Happy birthday late.

Hi Blondie!!!
-
Hey everyone,
Thought I would check in, hope everyone is doing well. I haven't seen the surgeon again yet, I have an appointment on the 13th. The main concern for her now seems to be micro calcifications but for me it's still the swelling. My left breast is so much bigger than the other now and having sharp pains off and on just in a couple areas which are no where around the lump. I am still swollen all the way up my chest, my collar bone is swollen where it's hard to feel and my arm pit is still swollen. I was so hoping this would stop. Lately it feels like I am breast feeding on one side and my milk keeps letting down and my nipple and areola where the indent is at has pain if touched. It's crazy no one seems concerned or willing to do anything about it. I am going to ask my surgeon and hopefully she will figure out what is going on. Okay sorry so much information, I will let you all know when surgery is done. Wishing you all the best.
-
Woke up to much needed rain! We are in a bit of a drought.
-
Boyd- that swelling is really worrisome. If you don't feel you are getting the proper attention around this, find another doctor for a second opinion. Keep us posted and hoping for good outcomes!
Mommy- good to hear you got rain. I hear a lot more is coming with the tropical storm off the coast.
One more day in town before I take off for my trip. Excited and ready to go!
-
Morning girls! Susan...that wasn't nice of them, but I'm not telling you anything you don't already know........
Sometimes certain kinds of people just deserve each other. And YES, you can pick your friends, and that means not feeling left-out when family pulls one over on us........ It's the ones that stick by you, when things get rough........
Boyd! What surgery are they talking about? Is it for calcifications, or BC or what? And do they tell you what they are waiting for? I think I would go there, and shake them till their teeth rattled....shouldn't be THAT hard to come up with a plan for you! And you can tell them I said so.......
Your surgeon should HAVE a plan already! And set up the dates for you, for whatever she thinks is going on! You've been doing this since JULY??? Time to get something going here.... And are they treating the swelling & pain?
Yes Mom2! We got some much needed rain also! I had forgotten what it looked and sounded like! And it's only 49 degrees here right now!
Now Spookie is going to run out in her slippers and bath-robe, onto her deck, and take a picture of her Florida Thermometer saying something like 80 or 90 degrees...... just to show off....... with all the fire-ants and tad-poles running around by her feet.
-
And another thing! Boyd... I wouldn't wait until the 13th! What do they think this is? A case of Dermatitis? They must be waiting for all your symptoms to just disappear and they won't have to deal with anything! If you were my Daughter, I would march you right in there, and tell them you are done playing Tic Tac Toe with their schedules, and to take this matter seriously, and get off their little fat butts and HELP you!
It isn't as if you aren't paying them! They are there to help YOU.... especially when you are in pain, and with that swelling going on.... Can you tell I become a little irATE when people just jack you around?
I know...... print off all my posts about your condition, and take them to them, and then stand there with your hands on your hips, and say "OKAY, NOW what?????
-
You get 'em Chevy!!!!
-
Here ya go!!!
-
Yeah. woke up to 73 degrees outside. By the end of the week, we are supposed to have highs in the upper 50s before it rebounds.
Been watching that tropical storm off the East Coast too
-
Hah! I KNEW it! Partly cloudy here, but nice and cool~
Mom2...you guys might ALL feel a little of that storm.... take good care!
-
Another rainy day in the North Country!
The 1st weekend in October is coming up.
I'll be busy throughout October finishing Fall outdoor clean-up.
-
Boyd, I was thinking about you the other day and wondering if you had the surgery. I'm surprised to hear that you haven't yet. I agree with Jazzy and Ms. Chevy about getting the help you need. The swelling you have is alarming.
Susan, any success in getting rid of the smell? No making cheese in the car anymore!
Ms. Chevy, how is your hip? I am sore today because of the changes in the barometric pressure. My XRay came back with degenerative changes of the sacral joints bilaterally. Oh well...it could be worse.
-
Oh my goodness!!! It is raining here. Ms Smaarty, it's here!! Getting ready to leave work and see that the ground is completely wet, not spotty wet! It's going to be a fun fall and winter.
-
If we do, the shoreline will get it worse than us. I'm more inland.
-
Hi Loverly.... My hip still hurts, but nothing like it did... I just use heat, and take Aleve sometimes... It's now right in the front joint... Like where that one screw is... You would THINK I had enough padding to help that out...!
It rained here last night, and it's cloudy now, but so far nothing.....!
Did you guys get that email, about Marisa Weiss being on the Today Show tomorrow?
-
Raining here also
Hi spookie
Chevy u know her don't you.
Hey lover and mommy how ru
-
Hi Blondie- I hear it is raining buckets over on the east coast. Hoping everyone will be spared the hurricane this weekend. Saw big flooding pics in Mass and Maine on the news today.
Chevy- thanks for the heads up. I will be leaving for the airport around 8 and will catch the first hour of the Today Show. I hope she is on before I go.
-
Hi Ms. BLONDIE!! It is always nice to see you popping in. Have you gotten your meals squared away? How is hospice treating you? Hope you are not too much in discomfort. Big hug.
Ms. Chevy, good to hear you are better. Are sensitive to the changes in the weather too?
Jazzy, safe trip tomorrow.
Glennie, does Fresh Wave work on doggie smell??
-
NO.....the smell is still there. We have tried everything. The carpet has to go. Can't believe I did this. On the bright side...I am getting lots of rest cause I don't want to drive the smelly car to far
-
Hi Blondie! Boyd, you better listen to Chevy or she'll whup your butt good. No kidding but if something is aggressive, it can work faster than you can imagine. Mine did in weeks! Get off your butt and get to someone that knows what they are doing. I don't know you and I hate to be testy here but you've been so patient but this isn't the time to be so. Good luck!
Jazzy, I got a hotel deal from Inn at Loretto so I told my DH we needed to get out for a few days this fall since we cancelled our long trip. I'll hope to meet you if this comes about but I love being up there in the fall!

Thanks everyone for responses. I think the surgery is to remove the lump which is benign and microcalcifications to see if they are cancer. They said they will I do a mammogram and insert a wire into them than I go to surgery that way they can be found, they are behind the nipple. That is not what my surgeon said but the place that did my MRI and needle biopsy. No one has given me any treatment for swelling they do not its not an infection though. I went to a different doctor today and the PA that saw me when I said breast issues she said I can see looking at my chest and asked what's going on. Nothing she knew to do though. Also when I was checking out to leave I was having pain in my breast and caught myself holding it gentle, I apologized to the receptionist and she said it's okay sweetie, we understand. I wanted to ask what she understands because I don't even know why it's like this. Until today I didn't realize people could tell so obvious the size difference is a lot even in baggy shirts. Also have noticed more redness in aerola, and still have a couple of small spots. I thought the spots were bug bites but they have not went away and it's been months, one of them has some what looks like bruising around it. Also just realized that on bottom part of areola where the pain is looks like the nipple has a spot coming down off of it, a bruised circle and than redness running down to the bruised sore. Most likely it's nothing but it is such an ordeal when no one has answers Or cares about finding them. Sorry so much info thanks for letting me vent. Lots to do will keep you all update thanks
-
Doing pretty good Blondie!
Getting a break from the rain until tonight.
The models for that storm out there are all over the place. One model has us getting hit with it sometime Tuesday morning. Still keeping an eye on it though.
Got more news on my aunt who had the stroke last month. She is doing good and working hard at getting better.
-
Mema- if you are out this way, let me know. I live in Albuquerque so if you are down this way, would love to meet up for coffee or the like! I am back in town late on 10/5. I have some time planned away the weekend beginning 10/29, but also may be coming through SF during that later time in October, if you are there then and can stop and meet up that way too! End of October is just beautiful here and a bit quieter with tourists.
Body- let us know what you find out. The swelling and changes to the skin suggesting something more than these folks are saying is going on. Don't be afraid to advocate for yourself and get that second opinion. These doctors don't seem to have any sense of urgency. We care here and want to see you get the care you need.
Off tot the airport this morning. East coast here we come!
-
Morning girls.... Hi Boyd... Maybe I'm not understanding this whole process you are going through, but if you were MY Daughter, I would march you right into the Doctor's office and say "I'M DONE! GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD!" I looked up micro-calcification's....
http://www.macmillan.org.uk/information-and-suppor...
And I think most of us DID have that 10 foot long wire inserted right before surgery, into the exact spot, so the ultra-sound could direct the doctor to the tumor location. I didn't think they messed with benign lumps? My oldest Daughter has them, and usually they are just cysts... But all the other problems you are having is reason enough to get your "TEAM" going with something "pro-active."
I can't imagine anyone making a patient of theirs wait till the cows come home, and the sheets are dry, and the wood stocked, to get her to the hospital and something clarified! It still sounds like some sort of infection going on to me.... especially the redness and swelling ! It sounds like you ran head first into a truck!
Okay.... no more messing around....Tell them EYE said so! Take good care..........
-
Okay girls....... get ready for your morning exercise! I USED to could DO this........ The floor is not my friend anymore....
