And less expensive! Tinker is doing fine. I took his cone off. Hes now using the litter box which is good because last night I couldn't get him to. He stayed in bed with me all night and kept trying to pee about every half hour. I hope tonight that he does much better or I'm going to stick him in the bathroom. We're not doing anything. Need to fine a good movie to watch

Chevy LOL on profanity, do you remember on STFU someone asked a question about antidepressants, I did my whole teaching thingy, and someone dropped in to ask some questions? Then she went back to her home thread and explained why she was on STFU. She apologized to the group for being in ______(forget).i.e such a place. Talk about feeling used and abused. Pick my mind and then intimate I'm awful. I seriously had to do some WTF control behavior. I was proud of myself to just let it go and not post on her thread the bolded stuff.

Interesting thought, very interesting...........It's all easy when things are easy. But when each day holds a new challenge for years on end, then it gets wearing. The moments that there are no challenges are beautiful

God Bless Kristine, Bluebird, who became Fierce Bluebird  FBB when she was dx'd with brain cancer. Her beauty of communication was remarkable. Her kindness was unforgettable. Her art took us away. Our Bluebird will be remembered always between us as long as we survive.

HAPPY NEW YEAR gals! Hope you all had a quiet and peaceful one....! Okay, first..... SASS! What do you mean your toe-nails are too long for shoes! The first picture that comes to mind are the ones of Howard Hughes! YEE GODS girl! Gotta trim those things! If they are 2 inches beyond your flip-flops and sandals, ya gotta whittle those things down a tad!

See, I don't have to "trim".... that is being just lady-like. I have to file from the tops! With a long-handled callous remover! My feet were frozen when I was little.... and I lost my toes nails, because the toes were froze, and they never grew back right... So they grow UP instead of OUT! Ha, ha! Now that I have you all feeling bad for my condition, we'll just say my toe-nails are not normal.... but I keep them under control.... Hah!

And yes I remember that time.... Made me feel bad.... mostly for her going back and apologizing for being on our thread.... Made us feel like a bunch of drunken sailors! Now THAT'S another story....! It's like we might forgive people, but we can't forget how they made us feel.

I'm not so sure about this forviging thing either! Do any of you gals have IN-LAWS that have done or said things to you, or about you and your Husband? And you found out about it?

Or found out how two-faced they are, and you didn't even KNOW it? And they pretend to be all nice, and sweet when you talk to them? Or around them?

What hurts most is finding out your Husbands relations are all a bunch of sneaky people, and it hurts YOU, because it hurts your Husband.! And what's even worse, is my DD was not included in their Christmas Eve family traditional dinner.

I can understand them all not wanting to be around my DH when he drinks... I don't want to be around him EITHER! But to find out their answer to that is to just forget we even exist? To be nice to him every other day, but "he's not "family" enough to be included in their annual dinner?....

And to hear it was a "last minute thing?" I may be dumb, but I'm not stupid.... Ha!

See DD saw all these pictures on Face Book.... about this huge family Dinner.... And asked "but why weren't we invited?" And so I'm here telling her "Honey, those pictures were taken from years ago".... And I was probably taking the pictures, so that's why we weren't in them".... So I looked at them... and my heart just dropped... Everyone was there.... but not us.... So I called SIL and asked her, did you go last night? "Well, yeah, but it was a last minute deal".... From then on, I don't even remember what we talked about.

So our girls figured out, it's because their Dad drinks when there are family get-togethers, and no-one wants him to go over..... So she doesn't get invited either.

And honestly I can see their point... Both DH and I grew up this way... both of our Fathers were always drunk.... Everyone hated to be around them... My Mom stayed with my Dad.... come hell or high-water.... and she didn't like it, but she stuck up for him.... He was hers to deal with. So I am being my Mom now.... I know how she feels.... It's okay to talk about them ourselves, but we don't want anyone else to talk about them....

It just made me mad as hell at all of them! And made me feel so sad that his family would choose to ignore him and our Daughter. And it was ME who hauled all that beer for my BIL! Remember how I said my new car ain't no beer-hauler? But BIL wanted it for their party....! SIL says they all got chit-faced... by that time I didn't even want to hear it.

And I bought my car from his Nephew! The same one who he sold his '57 Chevy too... And was given the snow-blower and all of his hunting and fishing equipment.... AND guns! We all had so much FUN when they came over, and signed the papers... So they had the dinner at their house.... with all the rest of the family... just not us Guess I should be glad we don't have to be part of the family anymore.... Guess we don't need anybody else, right?

We have each other.... that's all that matters.... 59 years with this man.... and I honestly love him more now than I ever did... We've been MARRIED for 57.... Sure he makes me mad, but by morning it's all over with... we still have each other... and our Daughter's.....

So my New Years Resolution is to just take care of my family, and don't worry about anything else... Nothing else matters.

Chevy-I'm sorry that happened. Family stuff can be so hurtful and stressful! I made it my goal these holidays to just focus on my little family and not deal with the outside drama. Sometimes that is the best way to be ((hugs))

Sass-on the family member...turns out the letter she received telling her no cancer, was about her lymph nodes. I didn't see the letter, but she says it was very confusing and misleading. I think she just panicked and called a few people, then it got to me. haha, funny how I'm somehow now the BC expert. I did talk to her previous to the letter, we spent about an hour on the phone talking about what was happening. She's the girlfriend of sister-n-law's brother...so don't know her well. I just felt led to reach out to her.

I think about Kristine too, and her family. I hope they are doing well or as well as can be expected. I imagine it was hard to leave her dh and kids behind :(

LMG-ya'll doing okay over there with the ice? Just rain out this way, bummed because we had wanted a little ice :)

Well, I'm hoping 2015 is a MUCH better year than 2014.

    ((hugs))

Happy New Year! I woke January 1st 2015 and that's a good start to the year! I bought a car and I'm stressing about. I always do. I kind of regretted My Last Car purchase. It was okay but wish I would have bought something else. It has remote start, tinted windows, heated seats, and automatic climate control that I didn't have before. I hope I continue to like it
