You and tequila Make me Crazy---Oops not the song.......But just relooked at it and realized it's about drugs and tequilahttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ap-Xvb7KRrc
There's a country western song about pants coming off....What is it?
-
-
It's "Tequila makes her Clothes come off"
Back in my party days I had a friend that would flash everyone after a few shots of tequila, that was coined her song.2ndtime-so sorry your mom is going thru that and I know it must be really hard to see and take care of ((hugs))
I skimmed thru and saw something about MIL hell, I have a horrid one and she hates me. My in-laws actually called CPS on me as retribution/revenge for something that they thought I'd done to her. We have nothing to do with dh's family now. It's actually quite awful.
Speaking of dh, he went to dr on Saturday....blood sugar was 305. Doc thought it would be worse, but obviously still not great. He's on metformin twice a day and goes back in 2 weeks for follow-up. He was brooding saturday afternoon, doing a mental beat up I"m sure.
Welcome to the new ones!

Well, Monday is off to a great start! I woke up feeling hung over, not sure why just did. I got set up to work and spilled coffee all over my desk, while I was on the phone with a traveler. I saved my lap-top thank goodness, but the keyboard is shot. I plug in a regular keyboard to work off of that...anyway...I'd say Monday is in the lead and amy is at 0!!! -
gm ladies. Missed a couple days reading and I am so behind. Not even trying to go back just starting here. Hope everyone is doing great.
Hootie hoo
-
Thanks Tang Check out the lady at the end of the video Is that Cami? -
Happy Monday.....ya right ! I woke up with a painful fever blister. Too much time in the sun & wind.
PattyPepper, great photo.....you are a young one.
Sas, it's Mad Hatter Day. I think you are the Alice in Wonderland fan.

Need to go back & watch the videos. I am painting a closet today. I am not a good painter, too impatient. How bad can I screw up a closet? I will let you know.
-
HI1-yes, I am the Madd Hatter--lover. For years I always wore my madd hatter lapel pin to all meetings. Subtle, but effective
-
Sassy is the Mad Hatter.
Mags is the Dormouse.
"Huh?"
-
Mags, what did doc say about DHs diabetes?
-
Spookiesmom, not my DH with diabetes. Maybe tangandchris?
-
Ooopps it's monday! LOL

AH-- HAH Went looking for my Mad hatter pin that I got in Reno Nevada circa 1979. I knew it was a signed piece. Alas, he has an amputated foot and arm. But still amusing. Went searching for Ralph Massey the artist. Born 1938 and still around. Has things all over the place. This is a work of his of Alice In Wonderland bookends. You can find the hatter pretty easily. My Hatter has more color.

Here's a couple of MIL from He** stories for ya about my MIL:
Thanksgiving '07 I was hosting dinner at my house. My parents couldn't come up because mom was sick, which I understood. The day before Thanksgiving in amongst doing homework for college classes and cleaning and prepping food I wore myself out. The only thing I had left to do was sweep and mop my kitchen floor and I had planned on getting up early Thanksgiving morning and do that. That night my gallbladder decided it was time to give me problems. I was sick in bed the whole day because of it. So hubby made dinner for him and his family, my lovely (haha) MIL proceeds during dinner to tell my hubby that the house is dirty and I should be ashmed of myself. Hubby told her I had planned on finishing the cleaning that morning before they had gotten there, but I had been sick all night.
Another time they were invited to my house for a party was for my graduation from college. My MIL again told one of our family members while I was busy in the kitchen with something, that the house was again not up to her standards of being clean.
This all comes from a woman who has had back surgery and her husband won't lift a finger to help her clean. Her house is dirtier than mine! I almost told her that if she didn't like the way my house looks, clean or dirty, that she doesn't have to show her face here!
-
Oh she's a bitch! You want us to come get her? She sounds like someone we could straighten up! Some people are just not nice! But we tolerate them because they are "family"..... right?
Is she still around? If I knew THEN what I know now, these people that feel it is their right to belittle us or make us feel inferior are not worth our time.... doesn't matter who it is. If they are not nice, then we have to avoid them.... and then track them down and hit them over the head with a cast-iron skillet.
That sometimes knocks some sense into them......
And so are we talking about Alice in Wonderland? Or falling down the Rabbit hole or something? I'll ask Cammi..........
-
Sounds like a real peach. Mine played favorites with the grands, because one set of parents were divorced. Nephew asks his mom how come gma like Denise more than us! I was SOOO happy to get my kid away from her
-
Chevy, reminds of a story about my Mom. My parents owned a bar in the early 40's. A guy called her a "broad". She asked my dad what it meant. She hit the guy over the head with a tray of beer LOL

-
That is why I am sooooooooooooooo glad that we live an hour away from them. I don't allow their negativity to bother me, I just consider the source. I think if I lived closer, I'd be in the nuthouse because of them!
-
Mommy - Yes, distance is good.
-
Indeed it is! Its a blessing in disguise!
-
I don't blame you.... Kids just can't understand those ignorant old people... My FIL was trying to get our 3 year old Daughter to smoke, while she was on his lap! Of course he was drunk, but wouldn't you like to have it to do over again? And tell them what you SHOULD have said? But we didn't because we didn't want to make waves.
They were never asked to baby-sit again.... not that they even wanted to... Maybe that's why we are so different than THEY were!
-
Went to a consult with a dermatologist today. As soon as she saw the rash that I've got she confirmed what my onco thought it was and ordered a topical steroid cream for it. Have to put it on twice a day on the affected areas. Have to go back for a follow up in 6 weeks!
-
OH Mommy, I'm on topical steroids too! Pain in the pitutySpookie I get to come see you again. We can drive Bern's LOL. New doc at Moffitt
-
SAS WOOOHOOO WHEN?
Oh I forgot. FIL did get DD drunk when she was 3. My dad was ready to kill him
-
sas,
I have to be on it for two weeks and then off for two weeks and then as needed. Hope it kills it!
-
