FBB we all understand and I think sometimes girls are worse than boys, she'll come around my DD was like 21, 0r 22 and she was a different person. And another thing is she's probably scared like crazy for you, she just doesn't know how to process it st all--(((HUGS)))

Oh please I am not brave it didn't hurt at all, well after I sang my song and my legs were in the stirrups I did say that my legs haven't been in that position for anyone in many years, She said nothing looked crazy but took a biopsy of course she wasn't looking at my brain otherwise it would have been a whole different conversation altho some have said my brain is in that area as I told her. I'm fine really. U really don't need any drugs for that--I didn't have anything so if u ever need one really u don't feel anything that hurts.

But I did come home and had to catch up on my work (voicemails) and caught up on here a little, now I'm tired. so I'll relax some now.

susan - the CT report says "there is a destructive lesion involving the right aspect of the inferior aspect of the sternum.  WTF?? Really, who gets one of those....whatever they are?  It says there is a lucent (???!!) lesion which measures 12 x11 x24mm.  Again WTF??!! Anyway (deep breath) I have some sort of destructive force that is 12x11x24mm that is right but inferior somewhere around my sternum.  Also some other crap!  I think it is all caused by the ankle monitor that Chevy and cammi insist that I wear.  I had to get new batteries so that I could power my cell phone and iPad from it. Must be the wi-fi waves?
Okay, that probably made no sense but neither do destructive aliens in my chest.

Holey - thank you for the paintball party.  Paintball guns are necessary any time someone tries to stick a big fat needle in my chest.

cammi so glad that your "procedure"  or pee-cedure went smoothly and without pain.

chevy -  I LOVE the idea of a GPS for sassy's brain!

Blubie - good luck with the CT.  Chest X-rays do not have the right to be suspicious.

p.s. count me in for tea and a bong

Uh? Gps for my brain? Why? What will it show? Canwelearnfromthis?  Will it find my sweet spot? Do we get to fix things while we are wandering around in there? What should we fix? I vote for fixing the tinnitus.

I'm open for a discussion? This could be wild or dull. I prefer wild. But let's have this insertion of the GPS on Chevy'porch with tea and the bong. And chocolates. Everyone please wear a hat. 2ta please have a purple feather. Should be promptly at half passed, on the agreed day which is after the other day. Twiddle Dee.

The chickens will lay in unison for our amusement .sassy

    Yea....party on Chevy's porch (and yard)..I'm in.

Sorry to hear yucky news from FBB and Philli. Extra hugs to both of you. Maybe Chevy will share what she took out of the rhino pot with you.

Cami, glad to hear test was pain free.

Thank you Sas for info on the iron scan. I will share it with my doc. Cancer was 100% estrogen, and onco score only 8. So no chemo or rads. Arimidex for me since mastectomy. 4.6 cm liver tumor of unknown status since its in a dangerous location that can't be biopsied. Only shows on MRI but not on CT. I don't absorb iron taken orally. Had lots of tests checking for bleeding. So as of now it's iron deficiency anemia, cause unknown.

    Hi 2nd, if you're lurking.

Susan, so funny, I often knock myself in the face pulling up my blanket.

Issokay Cammi!  We gotcha babe...  We understood everything you said....  more or less.

And you don't have to go anywhere with anything...  Just glad they didn't do anything to your brain...  Oh wait..... never mind.

So it WAS like that whatever they do with your feet in the stirrups, and you are grabbing onto that table like billy-hell, and they have the whole 4th floor standing there, looking at your what-evers, and they are snickering and pointing?

I had that 4,000 years ago, and they electrocuted things from up there, and I swear to GOD I wanted to kick him in the face, it hurt so bad.  Glad they only all looked at you and laughed and took notes....  Damn people ANYway!

Okay, PHYLLIWITHGODONLYKNOWSWHAT...... Maybe it means this?  http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2706332/

I looked up what you almost said...  Is it a "destructive force" like with Darth Vader or something?  Can't you ever do ANYthing boring?

"Pronounced "lee-sion" with the emphasis on the "lee," a lesion can be almost any abnormal change involving any tissue or organ due to disease or injury. There are numerous types of lesions with different naming classifications."

So maybe they can figure out what to do with you?  Wouldn't it be nice, if they could just do something simple!   Or just tell them to "fix it" damnit!    Sorry little Filly....

Yes LittlePaws.... you can bring your Pups!   It's the back patio, that is up for partying... porch only has a little round table... We can't all fit!

    image

Sassy, we can put a GPS in your little head, and then we can all talk back and forth like that!  And you can just click a switch, and shut it off when you don't want to think anymore, or be bothered by your brain going every which way, trying to think!

About the Tinnitis....  Wouldn't you just love if your ears were like your nose, and you could BLOW it, and clean everything out?  That is my wish for today.  Then I could hear...  See, we could hold our nose, and BLOW, and our ears would just clean themselves out!  Without blowing out our brains!   Like sometimes happens.

Yes, and the Chickens...!  They would feel bad if we didn't bring them over too!

Morning Blessings and FBB!  And Susan!  I love the pictures!  I sent that one saying to my Daughter's!

Hi Peppermint! And 222222nd!  Cute kitties....

    image

LittleGoats, did you see THIS?  I thought of you!  Miniature Mama gave birth to a mini-miniature baby!

Okay... starting to get light out... have to go get my coffee, and sit at my little table and bring on the DAY!

Morning Nettie, Tang and HIO!  xoxoxoxoxo

Phily. Thanks for the explanation....notice I didn't say clarification, of what you are waiting to find out about.......I have a heart doc who says after a test.......that was just a finding, now we need another test to see if it is anything we need to do something about........that's what yours sounds like. There is something there, they need to clarify what it is. They just like to word it in a way that is code for them. I think it's a cruel game they play of...let's stress out  the patient .  It is such a pain to wait so long for the biopsy. Let's hope they r taking their time cause they arent worried.

Hoping everyone will have a great day today....tomorrow I will be with my nieces, 4 of them, for a girls spa overnighter.  We r staying at a hotel nearby me Friday night then we are getting mini facials and pedicures on Saturday, and there is a place here where this girl makes up lipstick for you. Mixed the colors puts it in the freezer and sticks it in a tube. It is fun to do. She works out of this throwback kitchen of the 50s.  Cute store. All pink stuff, she is in a poodle skirt, 50s hair, and a small sales area of 50s and 40s stuff...hats, jewelry etc. very excited about this weekend. Ages from mid 20s to mid 30s. These. Girls are a blast.     Can't wait...

    Ok, enough blabbing

Let's be pain free today........drugs anyone???

Susan, that sounds like so much fun! Have a great time!

Took my Chevy To the Levy, loved the goat pics!  Party on the patio! I'll bring my chickens too.

Reruns tonight of cami's peetest. Summertime TV is so boring.

Phillawhatthehell, Ain't got no time for that! Lesion schmesion. That super strong battery interfered with their test. Now they have to change all their signs to say, NO CELL PHONE USE or ANKLE MONITORS may interfere with testing equipment.  I'm coming to cut that damn ankle bracelet off. I don't care how pretty cami and Chevy thinks it is. Supercalifragilisticexpialodocious hugs being sent your way.

    ((hugs))

My chemo crash hit last night, but it is the last one! I think chemo causes my brain to go depressed, is that possible? I literally feel a dark filter go over my thoughts. I'm okay now, but last night it hit hard.

I still want to go on that porch, or I gotta make my own. I have a list of things I want to do after all tx is done. :)

    Good Morning Wiser Owletesses

Tang yes stupid chemo can do anything to you. It's over now and you feel somewhat better. Think tomorrow will be even better.

Susan beautiful pics. What a fun day planned. Pampering all day long must be followed by a GREAT meal :) Succulent lobster with real melted butter with a squirt of lemon, garlic juice in the lemon and a pinch of Tarragon. HMMMMM. Strawberries and grapes. Strawberries dipped in warm chocolate. Green grapes dipped in sugar straight from the freezer. Fresh brewed tea and a bong. Life doesn't get any better.

What else is on the menu?

We are all worried about Ziggy. Remember though her life work right now besides staying well, is to take care of her Mom who has alzheimers. That can be all time consuming. It's very tough doing it alone. It's a 24/7 job. Ziggy hope you are okay. Is anyone in Hudson helping out?

2TA hang in there babe. There must be a light at the end of the tunnel. One minute at a time. Too bad you can't just leave. Pack a bag , get your papers and just leave. You have your friend up north. There is no reason to stay when all about you, treat you so horribly.

    HUGS

Ok, I surely have missed something important going on with you, Phragm!!!  So what’s all this going
on with your chest?  Hope you get some good news!

And I’m in for the tea and chocolates, but I’m not sure about the bong, I’m a wimp!

And Cami I’m with you on the sleeping issues, I used to be able to sleep whenever I wanted however I wanted but no more!  I can’t seem to manage a full nights sleep, therefore, I find myself dozing all through the day!

And although I don’t have continuous ringing in my ears, I do get it from time to time and find it quite annoying!  I also found out from my PCP check up that I have/had fluid behind my left ear, WTH!
Anyway, I think with new antihistamine it must be draining because my ear has been itching like crazy and runny with stuff (don’t mean to gross anyone out)!  I never even knew I had any
    problem with my ear!

Aw Chevy, I love the pic of the baby goat, I want to own one, one day!  I just love them!

Oh my Susan, I just love the pic of the purple(fuscia) flowers!!  That is my favorite color!  Wish I could visit that place in person!

Tang congrats on the last chemo!

Sorry if I missed anyone! Hope everyone is having a great day!

Watched a show on nature last night. Reminded me of us :)

The show was about a family of Meerkats. The new kits were trying to learn the Meerkat  "stand". It was so cute. They would try and stand up right, then over they would go backwards. There would be a scramble b/c several were falling at the same time, as others were trying to get up. But up they would get and try it again.

yep, that's us, fall down, bump the head, hip, shoulder, get up and try again.

    Good Morning to all...

Susan, that canyon is amazing ! Do you know where that was taken? Two summers ago, I got to float down the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. All the side canyons, wildlife, it was a once in a life time trip. Yes, a pain free day sounds good.

I am headed to Nevada this morning for a 2 day golf tournament. I am playing with my niece, she is 32 & a better golfer than I. No biggie.

Thinking of you all that are struggling right now. It sucks !

    Be back tomorrow night......

Good morning Owlettes! Actually got 8 hours of sleep last night and at a decent time, I'm actually feeling sluggish instead of energized (less energy than after a 6-hour sleep). Go figure!

Did someone say chocolates? I'll be there for sure!

Cami, glad you're back home now! Life is so much better at home, in our comfy pj's, in our own world. Are you having any pain? Hopefully not.

Hi Pawprint! Sorry the iron infusions aren't doing their job so well. Bad iron! Must be no fun to be tired all the time. Are you at home or still working? With your busy schedule alone, being tired is part of the territory, the iron stuff makes it worse?

Fierce, if it helps any, I'm going thru similar problems with my DD (20 yo), I'm beginning to think it's part of growing up - and living with BC. The thing I keep forgetting is how our BC might be haunting them - like a preview of their life? I never grew up with the constant reality that BC might hit me too, puts a whole different spin on things. Maybe someone whose mom had BC could better address this. Lots of my friends keep saying this is just a phase for the girls, that one day their attitude and behavior will change. That's what I'm counting on.

Phylliwiththepaintgun, did they give you a dictionary or translator to go with that report? Oh wait, we don't need a translator we have Sassy!

Sassy, are you all recovered and no longer glowing? When do they give you the all-clear? Also, when are you supposed to start with the National Committee thing? You probably said way back pages ago, I don't remember. And I don't get your reference to the purple feather??

Tang, yes, yes, yes! Chemo is nasty chit! It's a toxin (as in poison) meant to kill the bad buggers, just sometimes it forgets and gets the good stuff like  the brain cells too. Hang in there, it DOES get better!

Sassy, can't really leave right now. Moved Mom and Dad close to be near ME, Dad is on the verge of a breakdown. Besides, he (Dad) gives me lots of physical hugs, get more hugs with him than months at home. A bunch of job fairs in the area coming up soon, so I'll stick around. Will start getting away during the days though. Need to start working on cleaning this messy house, I would love to sell it, go somewhere it's smaller and more manageable.

Blessings, hoping you're getting some relaxing done and feeling better. I know it can be warm right now where you live, take it easy.

Anyone hear from 4Sew? and Ziggy? Glad we got our Enerva back (looks like she's been busy with her handicrafting), glad you're here.

And to any one else I missed: Have a Thrilling Thursday! TGIF! Off for a busy day

arggg, had a super long post and lost it all thanks to a cat who loves sleeping on my computer desk with her head on my keyboard............

    Edited to add:

Hi1, have a great time away! Stay cool!

Yes Nettie looks like you have plenty of room for some goats. Need at least 2, they are herd animals and get very sad without a herdmate. My 1st 2 (neutered males) in 2001 I lost one pretty quick to bladder stones - prob. mostly my fault. His herdmate cried pitifully till my friend gave me a doe he did not want. It was lovely seeing them together. Many herds give away or almost really cheaply the wethers - neutered males - and they will cut down your mowing. They don't eat everything - stinging nettle one thing I wish they did. But they will clear out briars, poison ivy, any reachable tree limbs. I have Nigerian Dwarf goats - 50-60#, knee high. Carry them in dog crates in the truck. Pretty active comm. of breeders in LA esp. up toward Shreveport. I love mine but no more babies for me. I'm down to 13 now including my sweet baby runt girl from last year who's about 19#. Her 1/2 sister is not much bigger. Neither breedable.

Susan - the pampering 50's day sounds like wonderful fun. Enjoy.

Yes, 2TA, I was "lucky" that my DD was already flown from the coop when I got BC. Yup, a preview of their life and like I said getting mad/angry is her way of saying how scared she is for you and for herself. Younger kids just want you there, to be held/loved and for you to make them cookies - now that oversimplifying it for sure but the emotional changes/divides and exploration of self is soooo different. If she's as safe as she can be at boyfriend's (safe sex/safe place to "fall" a la Dr. Phil) then though not ideal it is workable at present. Mine will still go weeks without contacting me - the only thing I know is if she doesn't show up at work we are 1st contact since she was still living at home when she took the job. I get p****ed off too when she doesn't answer my texts. I got "out with friends" and then nothing for 2 weeks.

I identify with the shovel the stuff out. I've been trying but it seems I start in one place and something else happens in another room where I have to start over again. I did get the back exit cleaned yest. It collects all the cleaners, dog stuff, flip flops, bug sprays. DH found some desktop 2 shelf thingy DD left here. Great to get shoes and a few cleaners/bug spray on. Can actually walk by without tripping - LOL. Not what I need to do. I cleaned out the storage cabinet for the goaties a week ago. It is much, much better. Threw tons of stuff away I will never use again.

Loved the Flo video. My laugh for the day.

2TA--ROTFLOL  You sound so much better YAY. This video reminds me of a story  from Readers Digest :)

Woman rushes home to shower before her yearly GYN exam. Sprays herself with feminine hygiene spray, dresses, and runs off for visit. During the exam, the doc leans around her knee and says "You didn't have to get all dressed up for me". Huh, what did he mean by that. She gets home and looks with a mirror. Instead of feminine hygiene spray, she had used her DD's SPARKLE spray Singing.
