Susan Great news--Woot Woot Love to hear that,ThumbsUp

Tang Well at least it broke right where it was supposed to break--Now IDK about most Drs. but mine calls in scripts at the complete end of the day, well usually the nurse does it after she's done--so I hope it's being done.I think all of this stuff is done thru the computer so they just sit and do all at the end. Fingers crossed, let us know. Well not that we can do anything, But we'll know how u feel. And dressing, did they show u what to do and how often?

Sas aren't those Zac the vacs used on a substantial size hole or do they size it.?

Well the question of all times has been answered Chevy DUTCH found Waldo...LOL Dutch that's a classic, so cute.

Tang, if it isn't called in by the staff as you said between 5-6 pm right? Call the answering service. Have your pharmacy number ready. When he calls have him call it to the nearest pharmacy that can fill it tonight.

Here's where it gets problematic. If someone else is on call. They won't order an antibiotic. These are the words to use if this is the case. "Doc idiot , said that he would order it. You need to call him and call me right away. If I have further damage from this infection, he's responsible." Don't back down. This is at the malpractice level, if this isn't straightened out tonight.

Please, make sure your healed before chemo. Chemo stops healing. You could have a bad scenario for months. But we can talk of that later.

Please call the answering service if office not open sassy

Cami, Vacs can be used in wounds down to______ lol forget. There's criteria, but it does come down to a judgement call. It's a total art to putting them on. One of the best inventions of the last century.

Chit Tang did he make a homecare referral? This is serious. This needs proper management. If he didn't, and you've already talked to him about the script, call him back. He went home without completing his work. Have your insurance card ready with the costumer service number. This isn't going to be easy. His"girl" usually makes the calls. There's an intake form that's usually sent to the company. Hmm are there other docs around?

Okay, so here's what has happened so far. I called answering service and he patched me thru to the on-call doc. I told him what happened and he asked me some questions about my allergies, what type of infection I had in the past and that sort of thing. So, he tells he will take care of calling in my antibiotic. Okay...great!

So, a little bit later pharmacy calls and tells us that the med he called in will be $100, that is w/ insurance. I said whaaaat? So, I call answering service again and doc says that given my history of infection and my allergies that this medication was the only thing that would work. I even said give me bactrium even if I'm allergic and he said no. Okay, so I we're gonna have to just bite the bullet and pay up.

On the way to pick up the meds, pharmacy calls again and says a different doctor called in a different medication that will only be $5. This one is Levaquin. I can't remember the name of the first one.

*sigh* Okay, that is much better.

When I got home I cleaned up my would and packed it like they showed me. Holy chit ladies, that is some rough stuff to stomach.

I'm worn out with all this stuff.

Tang, have you taken Levaquin before?  (I'm skimming posts/hit or miss).  Make sure to watch out for any side-effects.  I was on it in late March and had some trouble on it and had to go off of it after 11 days (I've had wound-healing issues as well).  Usually I wouldn't be one to mention side-effects but this particular drug can do some weird things.

So glad you got great news susan. I hope you celebrated big time.

Omg tang, unbelievably crazy stuff you are going thru... my heart goes out to you.

Chevy, your yard is beautiful and so cold! Hope no more storms for a long time.

Teka, will you be planting this weekend? I want to see pics of the plants you're buying.

I'm trying to work with my other dog Snuggs to be kind and helpful to blind Annie Mae. I get home from work tonight and Annie Mae comes walking down the hall towards my voice.....then here comes Snuggs so excited and wagging her tail so fast she knocks Annie Mae down......just can't be upset with a dog so excited to see me. I think I will be setting Annie Mae right side up every time Snuggs tail knocks her over.

Hi chabba, that is really so amazing. 2nd posted a story of a dog that helped a blind dog get around. I'm hoping my other dog kind of figures this whole thing out and helps my blind dog. What I've noticed is my other dog has stolen the blind dogs food that fell from her mouth and took her toy and hid it, so I think she has realized the other dog can't see her do these things. Such a little trickster! Now I'm trying to figure out how to teach compassion to snuggs so she will help Annie Mae.

Susan, hope you are celebrating the wonderful news!

Tang, what's going on? Hoping you're feeling better.

Chevy, beautiful yard! Crazy weather we're having. Love the fire hydrant.

Pawprint, that funny little Snuggs! Are you giving more attention to Annie Mae and she's jealous or just the little prankster? Have you tried rewarding Snugs' appropriate behaviors (whatever those look like to you)? How's Annie Mae doing today? Knee problems too? Don't you already have your hands full? Rest this long weekend!

I love BCO sisters who call and talk for hours! You're the best!

Morning gals!  So okay.... I SEE your "Waldo!"  I've seen him before too, but I don't know where... And so WHAT books are we talking here?  No!  I AIN'T read no Waldo books!

    How's THAT for proper English?

Anyway..... Congratulations Susan for your good scan!  Hope you slept well!

Wren!  Isn't he pretty?  (The Rooster)

Maybe get those little blue rubber ear-plugs?  DH wears them, thinking they shut out the noise.... I think he is nuts...I don't hear no damn noise!  But whatever!

OR.... just get up with the birds... like I do... or even before... THEN go out there and bang on a pan with a big spoon, and wake THEM up!

Tang, did you get straightened out yet?  Ah man, I hate when the Doc's drop you through the cracks!

Smarty.... Just lots more rain, and only a few minutes of small hail, BUT I had all my plants covered, or under things...   Maybe again today!

WTH are you guys talking about NOW?  "ZAC VACS???"  I mean even CAMMI knows this one!  The trouble is, I read what you guys say, and then I'm on my own to figure you out!

I have a "Dirt-Devil Vac!"  Period...  Is this short for Zachary?

And Sass says it can be used "down to ______?"  She IS speaking in code.... Do YOU guys get it?

LittleDutch...  You sounded like some sort of Author... writing

"I'm so incredibly tired but must accomplish more before I rest."

    But it sounded good!

Teka!  Yes...  I have those plants..... At least I DID!  Hopefully they will pull out of this cool-night, hail, rain Monsoon season we are having.

Tang.... I might just say, they are all jacking you around, but what can you DO?  At least they are working with you...  Did you say "$100 my a$$!"  Is that why they changed it?  What a bunch of Dinks!  You were caught in the middle of a ClusterDink!  As Cammi would say, that is "Recockulous!"  With a capital R!

Okay, Lee has done that, been there... so maybe PM her and ask what she means?  I mean in case you have any MORE probs?

Thank you littlePaws!  Yes, our Victorian was built in 1886...  That little "garage" used to be a "mother-in-law" house, but converted to a little garage in the 50's for the then owners MIL...  And the metal garage is a spare garage... Now how many people have 2 garages I ask?   We just use it for storage for our "stuff!"  Used to house the 57' Chevy, and then the big Motorcycle, and this was before we got "stuff!"  Everything is old... but it just fits us.... Ha!

Glad Annie Mae is doing "alright!"  I just love her.... Yes, Chabba wrote that about their dog...  Maybe your Snuggs will realize what is going on, and help her?  I mean instead.... oh wait.... Snuggs is now the "Alpha Dog!"   So he is asserting his "authority" over her!

THAT'S what I need Chabba... A hearing-ear dog!  DH just don't get it sometimes...   And he will sneak up in back of me, and touch me, and I jump and scream my head off!  People who can't hear, get frightened so easily, when SOMEone scares the chit out of them!

Dutch... That is good..."Oh, what fresh hell is this?"  Who said that?  It pertains to a lot of us, right?

And Paws... Menthol?  Should help you breath better TOO...Ha!

22222nd!  We have 2...  Firehydrants...!  Not just one!  DH worked for Denver Water for 30 some years, and he brought those home, and we planted them!  I was just thrilled....  not.  But I can paint them bright colors, so they "blend."
