Sas---u'r DBF isn't there right? Where is he staying? and ho long does he have to stay there? Questions that need answering.
-
Sas, so DS has bought the house, has a gf. Is a move to Tampa far behind? WOOOHOOO lets do lunch!

Okay Owlettes Such fun. Finished learning, found the sources that I need to verify that I was right. Contacted the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Top dog.
I Identified sub agencies, but it's been 64 years since the beginning use of RAI131. I'm not starting with a sub agency. The NRC whomever calls back will get it. Told John the type of person I need to talk too---gave him specifications NRC Nurse or DOC. with not only an understanding of NRC rules , but an infectious disease background. Techniques have a crossover.
pre-read the terms of service of NRC which state all contacts will be identified. Told John at NRC, I fully expect to be credited with identifying the problem. That my expectation was that it would change patient protocol in the USA, UK, and in Europe for patient safety.
Really, I just wanted an e-mail address , I was prepared to write all night. But they don't work that way. He kept trying to give me a Florida number. I (ziggy trying to comply) Said no not going to work. This isn't a question. The NRC rules, The Code of Federal Regulation (CFR), and the National Thyroid doesn't cover it. I didn't bother with FDA or ACMUI(Who cares) it's a group that gets together twice a year to change rules. Well, if they haven't figured this one out in 64 years, why bother. If I get recogonition for this it'd be cool.
I changed the EMS world on patient assessment of the trauma patient and no one knows it was me and some other folks. But I had major, major input into that, and it was a fight upstream(sometimes some screaming LOL, we all loved each other b/c we were so passionate about EMS) to change the accepted practice of the time., and I'm not a footnote in history. LOL So, now I want recognition on how to wash the vulva and butt after RAI131. Well there you go. ROTFLOL.

Sweet Sassafras, Damn. You are IMPRESSIVE. Go to. If you want any editing, send things my way (that is NOT a criticism it's an offer, editing is just what I do sometimes and people edit my stuff too). Nothing like turning the experiences you would much rather never have into something better for somebody else. God love you.

Cami, DBF is staying here we are just minimum 6feet appart and can't sleep together for undetermined number of days. The rules that I'e learned all vary. The rules I've learned today say based on what I'm emitting. So, until I get another meter read it's not going to happen. Since I may fire RO or Ro may fire me . Won't know the issue with his nurse lieing on a medical document that I posted yesterday. He could be pissed enough to say find another RO. We will see. Like I said in that post I should have talked with him about it and let him handle it. Not worried. There are other RO's. She lied to my face, I called her on it, gave her the choice to change by date and time and say error or I there was a consideration of me contacting the state board of nursing. I'm tired of F*ck-up's. She just was the last straw.
Not sure if I posted the whole pathologist F*ckup-----but did a line by line comparison and available stains to local pathologist were never done either on the bx last july or to the feb total thyroid. I'm just lucky he sent it out for 2nd opinion. Quest lab did three stains which absolutely proved it was carcinoma. Then they did genetic testing right away. BRAF-neg YAY
Endocrinologigist called me today re:meds and I told him about report and he said did they do an RAF, I said no I was going to ask why not. LOL I just learned about RAF someday this week. Then told him all(him, ENT, Pathologist, and RO) that had received the 2nd opinion report hadn't received a whole copy b/c Quest sent out two items that hadn't been received back when they sent the report back. Quest had sent back a seven page report, on page seven it said continued, but there were no more pages. But Quest sent a charges page, I cross referenced from the report what was included in the report and located that two weren't included. Had nurse call pathology to verify that they were send outs to another laboratory from Quest . They were. . Told him what they were, he was quiet. I said I knew they were important, and the record wasn't complete.
Bottom line is no one had read the complete report and didn't know the items were missing.
Then said there were more blood studies I wanted to talk about, but they could wait. He came into the office today to review stuff on his vacation, don't know if it was just my stuff or others. But I called his office yesterday and had his gal call him. She said I can't he's gone. I said call or I would call. She got it done, but then she didn't relay the his full message. I was ready to fire him too. We had a long talk, got the medication issue cleared up. Then I told him how I did the line by line comparison on the path report and what Quest labs had done. He was quiet for a moment when I told him I've had thyroid cancer for a year b/c the local pathologist didn't do any staining. Trust me this will change his practice and he will dive into this.
Then we talked about the blood studies and went through each one . He agreed to the serial calciums, and told me why we didn't need to do parathyroid hormone. LOL. I was right up with him, b/c 2 weeks ago DS had asked me to do a search on parathyroid, calcium, and then the drugs through Genelex for a case he was working on.. So, right now he thinks I'm way smart, but most of it was new learning LOL or trudged up from decades ago, and serendipity. But he is very conscientious. Something worried him about me enough for him to review what was said & call me on a Saturday while he was on vacation. So, he's back on my good list.

Sassy, you win! It was Olive Garden! Win what? Hmmm, let me think, a quiet night by yourself? You know, Don Quixote avatar is appropriate, do you ever just relax? What's the female version of Don Quixote?
And yes, lucky me, meeting Pawprint in person!! Woo-hoot!! Lucky, lucky me! Yes, it was a local area get-together, so Salina888 and Grammakathy are unfamiliar names to this thread.
Cammi, pretty lady! You're a step ahead of me, I haven't taken a selfie.
-
Ziggy, I'm sure this last post you could have edited quite well LOL.
-
Maddy, lol , only when I collapse. Dear Counselor believes I'm ADHD. Rationale when something interest an ADHD person, they are absolutely focused to the exclusion of all else. Well, that describes me to the nth degree LOL

Just dropping in to say, "Hello!" Usually so far behind in reading on the thread, I need to catch up to comment. Wishing all well1 XOXO!
-
Ziggy 2ta maddy asked ---What is the female version of Don Quixote? Interesting question..........I have no answer. Don quixote has been my hero my whole life I never thought of a female version. I saw" Man from La Manche" in the Fox thearter in Detroit as I think a sixteen y/o and he won my heart. I would be his Dulcinea willingly. But alas, I became him. It's not easy being him, but it made all the battles easier to fight when no one stood behind you or beside you. Vindication of right down the road is nice , but hard when you stand alone. But I always remembered the strength he showed. God I loved that play, It made so much sense. Yet, he was crazy
-
WOW sometimes the words that we use amaze even ourselves
" Vindication of right, down the road is nice, but hard when you stand alone" sas-schatzi 2014
-
Sas, your mind is so busy. I hope you can get some sleep tonight. You are fighting some tough battles.....all of us on this thread want you to have that vindication. You're done the research, and are extremely knowledgable. That mind of yours is brilliant

Pawprint you're beautiful pic Did you have fun? Lunch....
-
Looked at the file --seemed to go with revealing my self LOL I've said allot of words in my life, but those words are the most revealing and relative to my life. So the butterfly comes out of the cocoon till the page turns LOL
What up with you girl?
-
Ahhh...makes sense. I'm resting off and on. Muscles and bones ache. Pain meds took the edge off. I saw Maddy today for lunch and a couple of local BCO girls from the other threads. It was nice.
-

-
Hi Everyone,
Wow Sas u sound so profound in the middle of the night, well or anytime. I just had a pee run, so I feel like I hope to go back to sleep, but it is almost 4am so sometimes that's iffy. BTW it's not going to be as warm as they promised, but we are supposed to have rain everyday, who knows? Wow am I always this boring? I think so.
Dwill I hope u pop in more we miss you, don't worry about catching up this thread moves like a plane sometimes--just come on in and tell us how u'r doing.
Sas I hope u'resting now, I think u need to.
-
Hi Cami, Sas is still glowing. Don't look at Google Earth...all of Florida is lit up.
)
-
Pawprint Hi, I think u'r right--she's glowing her own storm--how long will this last? It see,s like a long time now to us.
-
Yes it's lasting a long time Cami....that mind of hers is on fire.
-
-
Methinks you guys are referring to me.
-
U thinks right Missy
-
Naw I 'm burned out . Called the NRC back told'em another person I want'd at the talk was someone with a maternal postpartum background. Cami you understand, In order to make them understand the hole in the plan, is they got to realize it by consensus that I know what I'm talking about.
-
I actually do understand--I deal with politicians f=because of my problems and they are a PITA.
Sas answer a question What does it mean when u white counts are higher than should be?
-
Found exactly the material that is being used by EVERYONE. It's okay, it follows the law . LOLOLOLO THey just left the patient out of the plan. I'm almost choking laughing , but that's our government. Seriously, I followed the breadcrumbs. From NRC to CFR to National thyroid_________. That's what I recognized from the beginning. Everything is layed around stuff, defines what to do around stuff. NEVER does it define to do what for the human being i.e. the patient.
-
U'r mind doesn't stop Sas--I wish I had more o that in mine, not as much as u but enough to keep me interested in things that have to be done.
