DH and I are still kicking around the idea of an Alaskan cruise soon,,,

-
Anita -that sounds fun!
2nd time- I went to a bridal shower at one of those paint and drink places, and they had this for everyone to take a photo with. My friend added the squirrel with cotton candy on its head in the corner
Glad your DH had luck on his side!
It will probably be a while before we hear from Bluebird, still sending whatever I have her way.
Luv- plumbing issues are no fun, ever. Glad you got things sorted!
Sas, how are you feeling?
-
yeah, Sassy, how are you recovering?
Hoping we hear from Bluebird soon.
-
quiet tonight. Hope all are doing ok.
-
Smaarty, was just thinking the same thing. How are you doing this evening? I'm wide awake, thinking of making up some muffins so there will be a treat for breakfast.
I know this is totally random but has anyone on this thread done nipple recon or 3D tit tats? Just curious.
-
mmmmmmmmmuffins.
-
peanut butter chocolate chip muffins. Made a big batch - you're all welcome! Please save one for Bluebird
-
Good Morning!!

Bluebird, positive results.
*SNOW*
Anita, Welcome!
-
2nd, I'm doing good. Had my last visit with PS yesterday. I'm all done unless something goes wrong. I don't have nipples because of a breast lift 12 years ago. Don't mind.
Here's to us old ladies.

Morning by one minute. New things keep happening. If i can believe my scales I'm loosing weight. Sense of smell and taste continuing to improve. So, hopes this continues. Even for neg smells. The old saying about S**t not smelling, weird. Sleeping without meds. Throat still sore, but livable. Hearing is better. That'd be to weird. On the TV, the volume bar when you change volume, I'm usually in the top 25 %. Very often max level. Now at bottom 30 % and it hurts. Could everything be related to thyroid???????????
Bluebird thinking of you lots, post op you're in ICU, that's the usual. Varies by length of days. Healing thoughts and prayers.
Need to run and get tile L&H&P's to everyone sassy

Has Chevy been here--didn't see anything--Maybe it's Dr. day--she's better be all right.

Hello to all,
Nicky from France ( Irish living Bordeaux ) that has given us wonderful stories of culture & tradition. She started a thread, explaining she was hospitalized for almost 3 weeks, no wi-if. She had back surgery & needs another. It's under the stage 4 topics, I sent her a message that the INSOMNIACS have missed her.
-
Cami, there's a couple left. Let me know where to have them delivered.
Bluebird, sending you hugs and praying for you
Gotta run, just checking - couldn't access boards from my iPad an hour ago.
Winds are picking up here, hoping no major fires.
Have a great day Owlettes!

Hi you guys! Just got back from Super Walmart! Using only my nifty flowered trusty cane now! My leg is much stronger, and doesn't wobble as much. So on the way home, DH parked by our Starbucks, while he went into Sprouts, and I sat there...... in the sun...... just listening to their music, and feeling so lucky and happy!
I'm making some potato/red pepper, celery/scallion soup, with bacon bits, and later, milk and butter! Just sounded good.
Cammi, so where were YOU yesterday oh mighty one? You weren't on very much either, little kiddle!
And so Sass is here! Bout time! She takes these breaks, you know. And we have to fend for ourselves! Also, about your hearing.... maybe it is the meds? I know too many aspirin will cause hearing loss also? But it is usually temporary.
I think I'm going to go out back, in the sun, and try cleaning things up a little..... It's just too nice to not be out there!
-
Chevy,
I would love a bowl of soup!
-
Chevy where are u living that is nice enough to be outside in the sun? OZ? cuz we've had snow and windy which is starting to pick up. I was worried about u.
Hmmm Yesterday Hmmm oh I spent the major part in the bathroom and today a little too so I get tired like crazy, and today I have a slight fever which I get from time to time--no one knows why so don't ask.
Oh BTW Chevy makes such beautiful scarves and lovely braclets--I love them they all sparkle. My kind of gal. and so glad u are doing so well u little gadaround. (I think that's a word) or used to be.
OK as long as u'r all right--I'm done talking to you.
Oh I saw Nicky thread, I feel so bad for her--her operation didn't work and they have to do another? Bizarre--Thanks for telling everyone too.
OK had a bad morning with work --my fault--my diarrhea didn't help tho hahaha. I think everyone understand how I type and talk but men don't seem to get it.
-
I think we were lucky when Sass was able to give us an update on Chevy s surgery. Now for Blue bird we must pray and wait. till she is well and writes back to us
Sending her hugs!!!!
-
-
Continued prayers for our
and for our NICKY.....
Chevy - isn't it great to just sit and feel..... happy? Wishing you many more moments like that.
2TA - Nope! Never got out of my jammies yesterday... and today ain't looking so great, either. Nothing wrong, really, just pooped out and catching up on rest. SOOO grateful I have the time to do this!
Hugs to all!!!!!

Supposed
to be 85 this weekend - yowza! All the trees and flowers are in bloom in the
yard. Lovely and peaceful and..... ahCHOOOO! Pollen flying everywhere.Just
noticed that Lefty has a horizontal crease that is visible through both my bra
and my Tshirt. Well, CHIT. At this point my options are limited, having Kaiser.
Would love a second opinion, but not looking forward to any revisions. It will
be two years out from Exchange this summer. Wanted to be DONE! I thought I
would have already been to Vinnie's for 3D tatts.... but something has been
holding me back.Can
anyone else with saline implants actually feel the insertion port through the
skin? The first time that happened, it totally freaked me out. Then the MO
explained what it was. But my question is, if I can feel the port that easily,
that must mean that it's right beneath the skin, not under muscle.... and how deep does a tattoo
needle go? Would hate to be lying there on Vinnie's table, and BANG! Righty
explodes everywhere...Oh
well, as Roseanne Roseannadanna says, " -
Blessings, when I had my TEs I could feel the port area easily and it was under the muscle. I don't think that muscle is as thick as we think it is.
-
Hmm let me see. This is an old one from Chevy. I saved it
-
Okay, it's me, looking at me, Ha! Except I DID make that soup, and it is really good!.... and it's Cammi that has pajamas.... not me.... I just sleep in T's usually, but in the Winter I have some cute like silk lace pants.... YOU GUYS, I can lay on both sides now!!!!!!!!!!! I am too happy! AND I have only used my cane today.....
A gal at the Walmart came up to me and asked where I got my cute cane! I told her King Soopers, and how much they were.... I asked how long she had been using one, because I keep hitting my foot with my cane.... She said "quite awhile" because she has MS.... But she looked and walked really well.... says she is doing pretty good!! So mine is only temporary, but not so much for her.... I really AM lucky.....
SPOOKIE! You got spookie right side up again! Good job! See, I notice things like that...
Blessings....! Hey little kiddle! You have a crease? Wish I could help you with your questions.... but these gals will probably have ideas.... And Cammi, I went out back, felt the WIND, and turned around & went back in! It LOOKED so nice! Maybe tomorrow.... So now I'm drinking a hot chocolate....
Hey, to everyone else! xoxoxoxo
-
Thinking of Bluebird, hoping all is going well.
Laughing at the various cartoons posted - I'm pretty crispy, too!
Sas, very interesting changes you are noting. That thryoid stuff is like the rest of the endocrine system - we just really don't understand even the smallest bit of it! The neuroendocrine system is so intertwined with mind-body system, and after all the years I spent in health care and health care education, I sort of feel "duped" and misled - all that studying, learning and memorizing a gazillion "facts" and then try to put them together into some sort of logical explanation, or chart out the cause/effects of this stuff ... geez, so overwhelming! Then throw in all the genetics just for a little challenge! So glad to have your observations.
Have found myself on chemo again .... I swore I would never do that again, but my MO is an evil temptress. I have been with her since Jan 2013 and trust her, so when she gently suggested I give this one a try since the pills quit working, I agreed to try it. I had my 3rd infusion yesterday, and am looking for the bus or semi driver who ran over me after that, because I am going to find one of those sleazy lawyers who advertise on TV that they will get lots of money for me and then we will have a BIG PARTY!!! Seriously, though, I am doing much better than I thought, maybe because I have given myself permission to take a day off and just sleep the effects off. Seems after that one day of resting, I can be pretty active and am actually INCREASING my activity.
Joining in that meerkat hug for everyone! Stay warm everyone!
-
Bluebird, thinking of you and sending you gentle hugs.
Blessings, good for you! Wanted to post a pic but can't do from my iPad. Comfy or sexy? Oops, not THIS or THAT game. Lol!
Cammi, got a muffin, where to deliver?
Chevy, will trade a muffin for a cup of soup!
Spookiesmom - first time that Spookie is right way and not sideways! If I tell the mods, something will screw up for sure.
Linda, so sorry you're dealing with chemo again, but let it be very successful this time.
I won't tell anyone about the weather here....... Shhhhhhh! It was close to 80* here today. Wind kicking up and irritating my allergies, no stuffy nose, sinus on one side hurting.
-
Blessings, like this?
Hey, posted my first pic from the iPad! Whooty-hoot!
