My wish for the bride and groom:
-
Hi Lover-that always happens to me when I try to use the bold. I'd say this last round hit me pretty much from the beginning. SE are mild. But my taste has been funny since day 2, loose stool every other day and mild warm flashes. Hoping I have not been thrown into chemopause, but no cycle since August 26th. How are you? I should be good for lunch next week. Just let me know where😉. Maybe we can let Jean pick since she's new. As long as it isn't to crazy....fish eyes or cow tongu

Whew! She still has her head! She's going through Teleflora and they are working with her on the changes she wanted to make. I'm doing a chat on my computer with them getting info and texting her on my phone passing on what I'm finding out. All is good on the flowers. Thank goodness it's a small reception. Took DD2 shopping for her dress. She was stressed because she ordered online and it was so poorly made she was worried it would fall apart. Met up with DD1 and future SIL. Girls were getting new makeup and they were having it done to see what it looked like. I felt bad for Theo as he is an only child and endured this ordeal rather well. Ended with a nice dinner. Girls are planning on taking there niece with them to have a manicure. This should be interesting.
Lover, love the memes. You certainly have a knack for finding them.
Jazzy, hope getting back into the work routine is going smoothly for you. Your trip sounded wonderful! I've got to get myself over to the other thread to she them.
Just looked at the time. Nite nite ladies.

Update on the Portland explosion:
Of the 8 people injured, 7 were able to be discharged from the hospital the same day. One Lt. from the Fire Dept. was blown clear across the street and has 2 broken legs, plus some other less severe injuries. He has had one surgery and may need another. This fire fighter was the first on the scene and managed to set of the alarms to evacuate the area so number of casualties were quite small.
Also, I was on FB tonight and found this hilarious video that I think you'll enjoy. It's of a Bull Dog dancing to the music of Nirvana.

JunieB, who is up for adoption?
-
loverly. Nice Friday pic
Hootie hoo
-
JunieB ~ OH MY. I need to go watch that video again....that man was talking about "something".....
Okay....I watched the video again a couple few dozen times. I can't remember what that lovely blue eyed Adonis was saying. Need to watch it again...........
-
Ok, Loverly- I'm not sure if you're teasing or serious in your adoption question.
-
Happy Friday to all. I am headed to volunteering.
-
Loverly ~ Hobbits are fat, dumpy and have big hairy feet.....
-
JunieB ~ I am still looking at allllll the Travis videos. Such a nice distraction! Almost enough to make me forget how sad I am that Loverly is picking on me 😢
Safe travels to and from work!
-
Jazzy, the other dog was saying, "Stop it, you're embarrassing me....okay, since you won't stop, I'm getting the hell outta here."

So irritated right now. Second time in two weeks that a political sign was swiped from my lawn. First time it happened was Columbus Day weekend. Sign got replaced. So tonight I was in the middle of making dinner when I hear my hubby yell out the window. Sign was swiped again!!!!
-
Mommy, I didn't do it! Those Stinkers!
Rita, lol.
JunieB, I think ShepK wants to adopt The Human.
ShepK, now I didn't call you a Troll or Goblin, but a hairless feet Hobbit. Yes, Hobbits are height challenged. They are generous and kind people who love to give gifts. It's the males who are heavy in the middle. The female have nice beautiful curly long hair. I am sticking with that story.
Ok, we are in Oakland visiting DD who is here for swim competition for the weekend. We are in one of the most dangerous cities in California. Mitzy is with us so no worries. Yeah right! She would be the first to escape if we were held.
-
Loverly- did you ask me if I met any hot men in NYC? Good looking men were everywhere, they all looked like male models. Did not bring any of them home as a souvenir! LOL!
-
Morning All! Feeling good and enjoying coffee this fine Fall morning!
-
-
Susan- what a cutie pie. She is growing so fast!
-
Now M0mmy maybe those people were just jealous of your sign and wanted it for their own lawn
Many years ago I was living in Kent in the UK. Bought a brand new dustbin. Left it out front. No rubbish in it yet. Literally just sitting outside the front door after purchase. Could you believe it- someone swiped it, just like your sign. Can still remember the feeling of shock and disbelief. D-(ex)H and I got in car and drove around looking for that bin, but no joy.
-
Probably not!
-
-
Yep. Sign got replaced last night by a good friend. My friend added not one but two signs and a third sign for another person on my lawn. Let the mutants who took the last two try it again!

Mitzy did not react when she saw DD which is very unusual as DD is her favorite person. Completely ignored her and was distracted by other noises. Mitzy was so confused when we got to the hotel. Possiby a combo of sensesoverwhelmed and PTSD. Poor thing.
She is more relaxed here after 10 minutes.
