Chevy, I've got connection problems too. Thought it might be another sunflare thingy. Found this.

Yeah, I know.... something is going on.............
-
Sass, I contacted Norton, by instant chat.... and they took over my computer & fixed the problem... I also uninstalled a malwarebytes program, and another Driver update program.... Removed anything I didn't know what it was, from my programs feature ..... Works really fast now......
I know other sneaky little programs ride piggy-back when you install something.... and they can change the way your computer works....
So far, so good....!
MAGS! Wouldn't we ALL love a nice back-rub?
-
My holiday card to all my friends here. Taken in northern NM during my time there last year at Xmas. Peace and love to all this holiday season, and blessings for a healthy New Year!
-
Home from surgery (this was the cosmetic tweaking, post-lumpectomy). Shaky and nibbling slowly on a banana, but very glad to be home. Cat's wary.
-
Sleep, well Queenie...........were covered with chocolate...........
-
Queenie - Glad you are home. Sounds uneventful which at this stage of our experiences is marvelous. Take good care of yourself and get rest. Hope you've stocked up on movies, warm blankies and treats.
Rosie Posie - missing you here and your very wise voice. Hoping you're just having some family time.
-
Oh Queenly! Welcome home kiddo.... just relax.... take it easy.... stay in bed, and stay warm!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ng08sHphA4 Look how cute Lilgoats!
-
Sas, and other partiers: but was it Vosges chocolate? I'll be licking the crumbs out of my bedspreads.
I predict a very early bedtime tonight! And yes, the surgery and recovery were uneventful, thank dog.
-
Queen- glad you are on the other side of the surgery and hopefully have good drugs for any pain. Rest well and recovery soon!
-
Patty, rest and take care of yourself. We know you're lurking. We'll try to behave until you are up to joining in the mischief.
Queen, glad all went well today. I hope you are asleep by now.
-
Jazzygirl: I'm rather glad myself, yes! though so much for an early bedtime...ah well. But drugs left over from my surgeries this summer, though the pain's still in the annoying category.
-
Patty, glad to see you check in. Figured you were still wiped out after your hospital stay. Keep reading and we will try to keep you entertained.
Holeinone, now I know what you are talking about. Sun Valley is a big deal in the figure skating world.
Sas, that cable wound around an auger happened here a couple of years ago. Had to look at the photo to make sure that wasn't taken here! What a mess, many businesses were without Internet service for a couple of days. The other thing that happens a lot around here is people dig up the lines with backhoes by mistake. That's the midwest for you - we've got more power equipment than sense.
-
Mag, that bad huh?? Sorry. Guess I can't really complain about this nagging dull ache in my lower back.
Queenie, Vosges chocolates?? I didn't get a piece I heard they make bacon chocolate bar! The best chocolate I had was from Ecuador. Cheers to good cosmetic result and quick recovery.
Jazzy, majestic scene of northern NM. Did you take the picture?
Patty, it's ok to lurk. We will do our best to stay out of mischief.....why is my bottom feels hot?? This one is for you.....
And another
-
Oh hey Cubbie, what state are you in and what time is it there?
I just remember....SHY- again, I love your fur babies story. It belongs in Reader's Digest!! My mutt (Belgian Mal and Dutch shepherd, I think) does the "aroooooo"when she tries to tell us something or when she is happy. I wonder now if she has husky blood in her.
-
Loove the cookie story.. send in reinforcements! Smart dogs. :-)
-
Good morning ladies- off to the dentist for an early cleaning, some work fo finalize my new contract with client and cleaning company coming today. You know what that means, the "cleaning before the cleaning!"
Loveroflife- yes, that photo was taken by me!
-
MORNING Everyone, All seems right in the neighborhood. Put up Christmas lights last night sooooo pretty. Di's coming today. She's my treat for me. A clean house. She's is such a hard worker. I do side along, but she does all the tough stuff.

-
Morning everybody....! Going to see Theresa, and her "neighbor" Wilma, who is 87 and her little dog Abby! Bought Abby a cute little squeek toy for Christmas, and am taking the gals scarves, etc! Abby LOVES chicken, so I've got some turkey all cut up for her....
My computer seems to be working fine again..... so far.... I have no news..... so I'll talk to y'all later!
Thinking of you Peppermint, Blondie & Rosie.... you guys take good care!
-
-
Sleep well Peppermint! xoxo

Frozen screen again
-
Rose, Ms. Sas is right. All we have of you is your words, but you do what you need to do. Just want to let you know that your voice is important and very much appreciated.
-
Well I finally caught the cold my cousin has been fighting for a week, and it skipped my head and went straight to my lungs. Really glad I got those heavy duty pads, because every time I cough you know what happens.
Chevy, that picture you posted for Patty reminded me of this.
-
Rose: (shyly) seconding Lover's comment--I appreciate your presence, when you have the energy to be here..
-
Rosie, we have a vested interest in your words. I could make a couple off the wall jokes, but need to be politically correct. You may leave and float in to the ether, but all we will have left is your words. For my friends that have passed, I go back and read their words on occasion. They are comforting. They help.
-
Rose- thinking of you today and hope you are feeling comfortable.
-
morning all. It rained again! here last night. Very nice.
I'm lurking. Got the last of the Xmas sewing done. Have to finish an Opportunity Quilt this morning then I can decorate the tree and start wrapping.
Can't go see GS since I caught DH cold. He's set for Monday morning, 5:30. He probably won't sleep Sunday. He's getting nervous and excited. Be glad when this part is over and hoping that it's a great improvement in his life.
Here's the last quilt. For a 5 year old.
You all take care now

Completely missed this in the news b/c I don't read much Florida news. Miami Dade County has decriminalized pot. City of Hallendale too. Broward County is next. All have done it without the state legislature. There are many initiatives being developed at the state government level that very on scope i.e. medical or recreational.
Mags, I think you are wasting your time with ever seeing that neurologist again. He's playing the money game. Not prepared for a visit so another visit has to be done. Cajing$. No scans, what's he basing is decisions on. 2008 scans are ridiculous. Some of those procedures on the link you found, have been around for at least 15 years locally here in my county. So, at the teaching facilities where new things are developed possibly 5-10 years before that. Remember when I said my crani approach was unknown of in my county AND it was 20 years old, but it was available in at least four centers in Florida.
Loverly, started baclofen at 10mg once a day then advanced to twice a day. Overall, much better. Haven't taken Tramadol in a couple of weeks. Major difference in TMJ left side. Less tinnitus. In fact today--no tinnitus on left and mild on right. What a blessing. Then had to take a decongestant Pseudophed when ears got blocked b/c of the stupid virus going around. Tinnitus improved even more. Still variable. I was worried about pseudofed b/c of BP. But I've adjust nicely. Lowest dose 30mg once a day. Then had to go to twice a day b/c the ears would block back up after the drug wore off. It was too painful. Left side has been blocked forever. Years. Duh, forgot about pseudophed. It's regulated, but available at the pharmacy without a prescription. Just need a drivers license. Some sleep changes, but adjusting. My hearing has improved too. If you can visualize the sound /volume bar. Most folks are in the bottom 25%. I was at 80-100%. Now pretty routinely in the 50-80%. Closer to the 50%-70 range than the 80%. Huge difference from the 100%. Donnie is very happy. Poor guy has only complained once in 3 years about how loud the TV was. Oh, sinus improving too, I can smell more. I'll leave out the particulars on that. The two drugs together are working miracles.
Queenie, How you doing?
