ducky - Fire hates summer.  She thinks the bugs are out to get her and that damn LE of hers.

We can party on the beach in the Caribbean.  This time of year it is a balmy 80 degrees.  That isn't bad plus see what we can look forward to?  BTW!  I will bring my flip flops.  No friggin way I am going to Alaska and freeze my ass off.

Have been "lurking" and reading, trying to keep up with you ladies! I THINK I would prefer the Alaska venture because the sun and beach just aren't as much fun when you have to wear pantyhose on your arm for the stupid LE .... and don't get me started on the bug bites! But I also don't enjoy scraping snow and ice off the car .... you just can't please some people (like me!) 

And I DEFINITELY want to see those mug shots of Ducky!!!! 

Of course, just looking at the eye candy from Jo might entice me to the beach ....

Well, it has been so cold here for so long that I think my rosemary bush has been killed - it is no longer green, just brown.

ducky - I am packed and ready to go.  I suggest we start out in Honduras, go to Belize and finish off in Cozumel.  I have been to all three places.  We could get into the most trouble in Cozumel.  This is going to be on hell of a trip.  Maybe we can convince Fire to come with us. 

Maybe we can take advantage of those swim up bars and be greeted by this.

FireK, you do realize we will have to go to Alaska in the winter because the state bird is the mosquito, which comes out in spring & summer? Those are the biggest meanest mosquitoes in the world! But now is a good time to go, March is great because the days are longer, still lots of snow to ski or snowshoe on, no bugs, no snakes. Great weather for sweaters - and I look GREAT in sweaters! (much better than in a bikini!).

And yet, ... the swim-up bars DO have some allure ...

so difficult to choose ....

Just   as a reminder to everyone.  I live in deep South Texas - real close to the Mexican border.  We usually have mild winters and there are times I can wear my flip flops.  Not tomorrow pinkies.  Get this!  We are expecting sleet and snow - yes, I said snow overnight.  The upside is this will not last long and by the weekend we will be back in the 80s.  I'm done whining - for now!  LOL!

JO, JO................we are getting more snow tonight, and below 0 again tomorrow....they said the snow was up there, but has not come down yet because it is too cold.................See even the snow doesn't want to be where its cold..........lol
