I say yes, you say no, OR People are Strange

I've gotten my hand spanked for daring to ask if one poster was the same person as another poster. A much more serious violation, I'm sure.
I didn't even use the dreaded "sock-puppet" term. Ooops, there I go....I'm still here-just lost my reporting abilities, and I'm on PM restriction. Any idea how many PM's that might be???
I hope Blue is feeling better soon.

Rabbit ... Looking for the 'like' button!

Bren
please give Blue a very gentle hug...thanks, sunflowers
-
wr...tee, heee....or we could hire people to stand at places along the road selling big plastic buckets?
-
Bren ... we were typing at the same time. I went back and 'dedicated' that one to Tim ... LOL
-
I also want to know where are the people who rammed "If you can't respect the President, at least respect the office of the President" down my throat every time I disagreed with President Bush? Funny how it doesn't seem to go both ways. It all goes out the window when you think the President is a Muslim/Socialist, I guess.

Mary - pock sockets aren't needed anymore, just keep adding "new" accounts...seriously,that way you can get a pm from someone you have on your ignore list, but I digress... please don't waste your time or good energy reporting ANYTHING - truly doesn't not make a difference - SO MUCH BETTER TO IGNORE - really, like bren, if I went to some other threads, I wouldn't be able to read anything cuz all on ignore. AND, if someone I ususally read, starts posting things I don't want to read, I put them on ignore too - no matter what thread they're on. Don't Like, Don't Read. Easy.
Life is too short, don't we all know that,
-
Bren, well I wish I had taken my own advice straight off the bat because I sure didn't like the surprising things I saw. I don't mean the opinions that I expected to see but that picture and other things just went beyond what I anticipated. So now I need to remember to engage the ignore function and stay away from certain places altogether.
-
Vile, mean, hateful people. That is all.
ETA-fully expect this post to be removed. Haven't named names, but that doesn't seem to matter.

Mary, disrespecting the President and the Office is called freedom of speech, or so they say! Funny how the rules change depending who is in charge. I'm just praying they will have to deal with the black guy for four more years.
-
Wow. We already knew about the opinions (poor children should just starve already), but now posting violent pictures about our president. The hypocrisy never ceases to amaze, does it? I'm sure we can all remember shrilling and shrieking about the disrespect to the previous president, the endless stream of shrill You-Tubes saying nothing and the continual whining that we didn't say anything when Duh was disrespected because, after all, HE IS THE PRESIDENT AND WE SHOULD RESPECT HIM. Funny how that changes when there is a black man in the White House. He won fair and square (unlike Duh), but they can't bring themselves to respect him. Gee ... I wonder why? He got us out of a war that Duh lied us into, he killed the man responsible for September 11, he passed a healthcare law that will ensure that many more of ours sisters and daughters get decent, timely medical care, the stock market is nearly back to where it was before Duh crashed and trashed the economy .... Lots and lots there to respect, unlike the puppet who brought this country to its knees, to the verge of bankruptcy, and nearly made us into a pariah state.
And they can post an ugly picture of the president but my post about Elvira Gulch is edited. How is that equitable?
So, I suppose it is open season over here, too - we can post all the disrespectful pictures of Robme and Ruin all we want and they shouldn't be reported or removed because they don't violate the terms of BCO. I doubt we will stoop to their level, but it is good to know that if we find a funny and disrespectful cartoon, we can post it here. I'm just sayin' . . .

Cheryl, let's plan on champagne for November 6th, or something suitably festive.
-
YEAH, River Rat - and Cherryl - I'm ready to Party Hearty - also can't wait to see the next few ads out of Obama land - yikes, did you see how much MONEY they took in last month - whew, all those contributions ( instead of broccoli) made a difference...
-
Just ran out of PM's......
Kam-you're spot on.
Mary
-
HL - the standards for a Romney pic are a lot lower...he's not our POTUS, afterall and thank god! I'm not a violent person though, so it might end up being something more fun, like Big Bird strapped to his car rack, or something along those lines.
Mary - and just for being a good citizen. Something is wrong with this picture.
-
Thanks, Kam. There are a lot of fun pix I have seen about Robme, but none I care to pass along. Yet. And he should remain fair game, since he will never be our president, no matter how many fevered fantasies the right wing cooks up.

If you do go visit other places I can highly recommend the wide blue lines.
It's after 5:00 and the bar is open ...
ETA ... the one that looks like bourbon and coke is mine so hands off!
-

Like this??
Mary
-
I'll have one each, WR. The blue lines are deployed, but ugly has a way of making the rounds. I'll be better in a minute, afterr I polish those drinks off and contemplate the delightful poll numbers.
L -
I like the looks of that light blue drink. I'll take that one.
Mary
-
Well I went off and engaged ignore - so phasers up I should be ok now. Ah, I haven't had a gin and tonic in forever, that sounds lovely.
-
I really need to get my eyes checked. I thought that was a gin and tonic but if it's blue that's not it, so Mary you can have it. What the heck does the bar stock any hard cider?
Edited to add - nice cartoon Mary
-
"Respect the ofice if you can't respect the man." I must have heard that a million times. And now we get vile pictures of our President from the same people.
All I want to say about the campaign can be summed up very easily.-Never trust a liar.
And I had better not say any more.
ETA:
Red,red wine

Great video, for those of you who are fans of the Youtubes. "Why Obama Now?"

Ooh, Mary I saw that earlier and emailed the link out. It's a good one.
-
MARY
thank you - it's gone out to all my email address book.
Stop reporting - just stay here...you are APPRECIATED...
-
I made my first ever report today and got told not to do that. My education into American politics is advancing the longer I hang around here! Some of it isn't too pretty.
-
Funny thing-it was my first reporting in forever. It takes a lot to get me to hit that button.
Thanks guys!
Mary
-
Lots of it isn't pretty.
I used to be able to post pictures here, but I'm having problems now. Can somebody walk me through the process?
-
This is disgusting. Not surprising, but disgusting nonetheless:
