Hope springs eternal, Blue. Lovely birdies! Some sort of duck?
The latest bone scan confirms mets to skull, sternum, just about every rib, spine, pelvis, pubic bone, and right femur. CT scans scheduled tomorrow to look for disease in my organs. Odd how cancer can go from nowhere to everywhere in just 6 months. My onc started me on Afinitor last Friday (the second arm of my Femara/Tyker, add Afinitor trial) but we won't know whether it's working for another three months. Blurgh.
Beautiful morning out here on the farm. Low humidity, sparkly sunshine, and horsies everywhere. I love living here. :-)
Happy Monday, all!

Mandarin Duck. Being capable of being vurry dumb, the first time I saw one in the Pond at Green Park in London, I thought it was a decoy. Duhhhh...then it moved, and I nearly fainted, splat across the gorgeous green lawn. Amazing creature.
GORGEOUS pictures Blue, makes me wanna grab my watercolors - gotta print them out first.
Enjoyful - stop sliming all that good bacteria
YOU are so funny - I'll bet even Sampson laughs. DAMN and every other bad word I could use & not get banned for - this next arm is gonna knock the @!$!#@ out of those buggers. Hope that glorious Man is offering a comforting shoulder, and lotsa wine. DAMN. Phuque. and More damns. -
E -- Which one of your bones have you made "public", dahling?! Now then, we are all crossing fingers that Affinitor will be easy on you but devilishly hard on those f'ing bone spots. And absolutely NO movement towards any of your precious organs. Love and hugs.
-
Awwww hell. I fixed it. Thanks for pointing out my public bones, C4C. :-D
-
E - Here's to kicking the crap out of your bone mets and nothing showing up on scans tomorrow!!!!
-
((( E ))) hoping and sending vibes for the new med to mop up all problems.
Blue...some music to the ears that idjuts on parade will march off the field not to return. More work to do, but once the door is open wide, sanity should prevail.
Loved the little kitty.....so much of what they do captured in that pic.
Cool here today. Rain coming. Tomorrow sounds like it could be an all day affair. Most of the predicted rain for the past couple of days has missed us....so I guess it will be 'our' turn for sure by the morrow.

((((E)))) I'm betting on the next chemo to kick ca's butt!
Rain here in KS too. I'm driving into KC for a luncheon with two of my old school pals. So looking forward to seeing them again! Just a light rain so driving should be ok.

Here's hoping for an overwhelmingly good response with the Afinitor, E - complete disappearance of bone mets. Fingers crossed for good results from your CT scan as well!

Blue -- Interesting interview with Michael J. Fox about his new show:
-
I saw the trailer. He's a hoot. Love him!
-
E - I cried when I read your post. I hate BC. Truly hoping the new drug does some good.
(((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))
-
E, this will get you smiling. hahahahahahaha!

Enjoyful ... You've been on my mind quite a bit. How is the Afinitor treating you? I hope the cancer isn't in the soft tissue. When will you get the results of the scan? I hate so much that you are going through this. Wish I had some of the really good crabs in front of me again ... I'd smash the shit out of them!
love,
Bren

E - I don't know what to say except that you are the funniest beotch I've ever shared a web forum with. I don't think it takes away from the pain of it all for you, but your posts brighten my day, every day, for what it's worth. Only good news from now on, darn it. xxo
